Aaron Williams’ face fills the screen on what is clearly a phone camera,
“Hey Jerry. Sorry to ruin your big chance- or should I say, our big chance. I’m case you forgot, I was wrestling to beat that time too. You weren’t the only one of us to fail tonight. Yet you were the one to walk out like a spoilt child rather than finish what I have to say was turning into an epic match. Is that what The Joker does? Walks out on a match and shortchanges the fans? There’s no way the Jerry Bishop I wanted to wrestle when I first came here would have done that. You may be better in the ring now than you were then, but you’re not a better person.
“I’m glad we get the chance to wrestle again. At Road to blah blah blah we’re going to step into the ring once again and I promise you it won’t end via count out. I don’t count tonight as a win. As far as I’m concerned, we’re level and one of us is going to move ahead of the other. I said it at the beginning of the match... imagine a match between Aaron Williams and The Jester. That shit could main event any show around the world. I wouldn’t care if I won or lost because that would be something special. But I don’t want to lose to this version of you. We’ll have a great match- I’m sure of that- but I’m making sure that I’m the one having my hand raised and finally moving on from this slump. Thanks I’m advance for the helping hand.”
Williams winks into the camera and then shuts it off.

FPW.com Exclusive Marcus is gathering his belongings prepared to leave the arena upon hearing the results of Bobby's Beat the Clock time. He doesn't seem overly disappointed at losing the chance to be #1 contender. He makes his way down the hallway when he hears a familiar voice chasing after him. : Marcus! Wait up! Marcus turns around to see Dasha standing there, a piece of paper in her hand. MAJ: Look if you're here to do an interview, real or otherwise, can it wait until tomorrow? I've got to...well, I suppose you'll find out later but I've got a flight to catch. DB: Oh...Where are you-- Nope, you know what, it's none of my business. I just wanted to say thanks for the other day. You took my mind off things and I appreciate that. Marcus nods. MAJ: As I said the other day, that's what colleagues are for. Dasha frowns. DB: Friends, Marcus. Like it or not, we're friends now and as your friend, I wanted to give you a present. Dasha hands Marcus the paper in her hand and grins as he reads it. DB: 1997, right? MAJ: What? DB: November 9th, 1997. That's your birthday right? Marcus looks back at the paper and this time as he reads it, everything clicks. DB: You should enter. I know you didn't win the Beat the Clock but I think this is perfect. Another way back to the world title picture. Marcus shakes his head as he hands the paper back to Dasha. MAJ: Thanks for uh, thinking of me but, I mean...I mean, what is this with the fascination for me to be in the title picture? Last year, no one wanted that. Now, it's like, I can't stay away. No matter what I-- Marcus pauses as he notices the same look of confusion Dasha showed him the other day when he seemed less than thrilled about the Beat the Clock match. MAJ: What I meant to say was, thanks. I'll definitely consider entering. DB: Good...Well, that's all I've got. Have a safe flight. We'll catch up when you get back. MAJ: Catch up? DB: Yeah, for work. You're on the schedule for an interview. I didn't know about the flight so I'll just reschedule you for when you get back. Come to think of it, I don't think Jim knew... MAJ: No one knew...Anyway uh, got to go. I'll really think about this YLC thing. I mean, not sure how Houston will feel given what I made him think I did to the cup...But yeah, I'll consider...I've got to go Dasha. See ya when I get back. Marcus makes a quick exit leaving a confused and disappointed Dasha.

Sato stands against a backdrop. Familiar striking sounds can be heard from off camera.
“Marcus Allen Jones. Better than Takahara-San. But Marcus Allen Jones tested. Showed respect. Takahara-San respect Marcus Allen Jones as well. Good start to singles matches. Not winning start. But good start. Takahara-San proved he can compete with best. Proved he can damage best. Now time for Tchyukiro-San to prove same. Botiatus. Strong Freedom Champion. Fighting champion. Botiatus learn that Guardians of Strong Style deserve respect. Tchyukiro-San prove that he compete with best too. Maybe Tchyukiro-San win Freedom Championship. Maybe not win. But Botiatus remember match. Botiatus remember being hit. Botiatus remember effort he needs to use to beat Tchyukiro-San. We train. We see Botiatus in two weeks.

A video from the end of the Season Four Launch Party was uploaded to the FPW website with Dasha Banks meeting Artemis Evans and the Queendom backstage after the main event.
"Artemis, congratulations on retaining the FPW World Championship tonight." Dasha began. "But I have to say, that wasn't quite the ending we expected based on what you'd said going into the match. Do you have have anything to say about the tactics you used to defeat your challenger tonight?"
Artemis opened her mouth to respond, but before she could say anything, Thea stepped in between her and Dasha. "I hope Jace enjoyed his up close and personal look at the FPW title, because that's as close as he's going to get get for a long time."
Artemis laughed as she gently pushed Thea out of the way to address Dasha directly. "I think that's all that needs to be said about Jace Mason. He performed better than I expected, I'll give him some credit, but in the end, he's not on my level, just as I've said the entire time. And now that he's in the past, it's time to looks to the future, to the Young Lion's Cup. Thanks to the Beat The Clock Challenge tonight, we already know that I will be facing one Bobby O. Not necessarily who I would have wanted to face, but he's the one who won the challenge, so I have no choice but to wrestle against another inferior challenger. I have no say in this matter, but I do have a way to ensure that my next challenger is someone worthy. You see, my next challenger is to be determined through the Young Lion's Cup tournament, a tournament that the Queendom will now be a part of, as I can announce Myra Lopez as a participant." The camera moved slightly to show Myra giving a single nod to the camera, a confident smile on her face, before Artemis continued. "If the winner of the Young Lion's Cup can overcome the White Queen on their path to victory, then I shall consider them a worthy opponent. And if Myra should win the tournament, then we can ensure that this title remains with the Queendom, where it belongs."

The camera turned on, at first only showing the floor before it pulled up to show Dasha Banks in a hallway backstage. Dasha was leaning in, talking to the person behind the camera. "It's on? You're ready?" There was a slight pause, and then she said, "Alright, follow me" before turning and walking at a quick pace down the hall. A shadowy figure was visible further ahead, their features slowly becoming more defined as the camera got closer. "Someone's outside Houston's office, they must not know he's gone right now" Dasha explained as they neared the office.
As the camera grew closer, it became apparent that it was Jace Mason outside Houston's office, pacing up and down the hall, pausing every couple passes to knock on the door. He was clearly lost in thought, as he didn't notice Dasha and the cameraman until they were practically right on top of him, and he looked startled upon realizing they were there.
"Dasha, it's a pleasure to see you, but what are you doing here?" He asked, now drumming his fingers against the wall, struggling to stay still.
"Well, someone tipped me off that there was a figure outside Houston's office, and I figured that was something to look into." Dasha said. "Now I have to ask you the same question, what are you doing here?"
"I was hoping to see Mr Houston and ask him about something, but he hasn't answered the door."
Dasha gave him a sympathetic look. "I'm afraid Mr Houston is out this morning, something about looking into a potential new signing."
She was going to say more, but she stopped as Jace let out a sigh of frustration and hit the wall. "Great, just great," he muttered, more to himself than Dasha.
Dasha was silent for a moment before she tentatively spoke up. "Well, if you don't mind addressing your business in front of a few others, we can record a message here and I'll make sure Houston sees it after he gets back."
Jace looked up. "You'd do that?"
"Of course," Dasha replied. "That's part of my job. Here, let's do it."
There was a slight cut as the camera stopped recording and then started again, focused solely on Jace, with Dasha somewhere behind the cameraman.
"Mr Houston," Jace began. "I think you know me pretty well by now, so you'll know that I consider opportunities to be earned, not given freely. But what I'm about to ask goes against that belief, because I'm asking you for a favor, and a pretty significant one at that. I need another shot at that title. You know as well as I do that I got screwed out of my rematch. I know Bobby's the current number one contender, and he's earned that spot, I don't want to take anything away from him. But I need another chance to prove that I can defeat Artemis, that I'm worthy of being FPW World Champion. But like I said, I don't want to rob Bobby of his chance, so here's an idea. Neither myself nor Bobby has a match at the second 'Road To' show, how about we go one-on-one, and if I beat him, if I beat the current number one contender, I get added to the main event of the final show. Please Mr Houston, I need this."

OOC- Okay, after several attempts, finally got this uploaded to FPW. Frikkin finding some way to convert an audio take into something postable was really annoying. One take recorded promo, trying something new, thoughts?

Dasha banks stands with Jim Houston.
JH: Hmmmmmmm... DB: What do you think? JH: I think... I think Jace Mason got very unlucky. He lost the title in a way that he couldn't be blamed for. He then lost his rematch after outside interference. However... DB: However? JH: However... Bobby O is the deserving number one contender. He should have had a match with the Dead Man's Chest last year and sacrificed it. He beat Jack Sevren at Judgement Day II and rid FPW of TakeOver 2.0. And now he's won the right to face Artemis Evans. To face her one-on-one. So, I'm sorry but the answer is no. DB: Is there a way that Jace can get a shot? Surely he deserves a fair shot. JH: And he'll get one. But only if he earns it again. Jace qualifies for the Young Lions' Cup. If he wins it, he'll get his shot at whoever the FPW Champion is. If it's still Evans, we'll make sure that Jace gets his fair shot. If Jace doesn't win the Young Lions' Cup, then, with all due respect of course, maybe he wasn't truly ready to be FPW Champion.

Jace Mason entered a training facility, nodding to the camera as he closed the door behind him but not saying a word. He walked over to the area near the ring and began to very deliberately unload his gym bag, taking ouy various workout gear before he sighed and turned to face the camera.
"Mr Houston, I accept and respect your decision. I agree, Bobby's done a lot for this company, and he deserves a fair chance at the title. Bobby is always putting others before himself, helping them to advance their careers, he deserves this chance to put himself first. And I will follow his example and I won't complain about being left out of the title match."
"But that doesn't mean I won't be looking for a way back to the main event, and I've already found that way, and it's the Young Lion's Cup. I am officially entering the tournament, and I'm going to fight my way back to the FPW World Championship. Should be a piece of cake, it's only three matches, the Free-1 was five. But at the same time, just one mistake is all it would take for me to come up short again. So I can't afford a single mistake, and that means I've got some training to do. I came up short when it mattered most at the Season Four launch party, I can't do that again."

OOC- Okay, after several attempts, finally got this uploaded to FPW. Frikkin finding some way to convert an audio take into something postable was really annoying. One take recorded promo, trying something new, thoughts? Aaron Williams stands outside a training facility with a handheld camera. ”Well Jerry, that was... interesting. Where oh where do I begin. Maybe with some of the glaring inaccuracies like you saying you’ve been wrestling for longer than I’ve been in tights. First of all, I wear shorts and not tights and second of all, I’ve been wrestling longer than you have. But that’s not really the point. Maybe I could address your idea that you deserve a title match when you’ve had so many chances- two Free-1s, a Beat The Clock Challenge, Dead Man’s Chest matches- and have failed to earn any of them. Or maybe I could call you out on the idea that you’re the best wrestler in the business. Just where exactly have you been to test that idea Jerry? When you were in England playing with Che and Dwyer, I was in Japan wrestling Marafuji. When you were trying to make a name for yourself in this business, I was wrestling hour-long matches with The American Dragon. Just how many people have you wrestled who have a legitimate claim to being the best in the world? Maybe Marcus Allen Jones. Maybe. That’s it. I’ve stood across from the best in the world and I’ve looked in their eyes and seen how good they are. When I look in your eyes... you’re just scared that you’ve messed up one too many times. So scared in fact that you teamed with the one guy who should be the Steen to your Generico. The fans don’t deserve what you’re giving them. They endure it. You’re not their favourite anymore because you turned your back on them. ”Let’s remember that when we meet. Your goal is to win the match. I understand that. You think all I want to do is to put on a great show. A barnburner as you call it. I never really got that expression. Who sees something so good that they react by burning down a barn? Oh well. Back on subject, I do want to put on a great match, but increasingly I just want to beat you and shut you up. Maybe you’ll beat me. I don’t know. I’m not sure I’m at my best at the moment and you do seem to be finding a way to finally win some big matches. But you won’t beat me easily. I proved that last time. It’ll take a hell of a match for you to put me down. And that’s my offer to you, Jerry. You don’t want the fans to have a good time... then you’ll have to lose. If you want to win, we’re going long and we’re going epic. And you know it. And you hate it. ”So come and try to teach me a lesson. You might find it a bit difficult. Remember... I’ve forgotten more about wrestling than you’ve ever learned. We’ll see who teaches who. See you on the road, Jerry.”

The sound of bodies meeting canvas can be heard as Aaron Williams turns his camera to himself.
“Wow, Jerry... wow. I don’t know where to start with this one! You’ve won the award for the bullshittiest five minute promo of the year. Let the fireworks explode and let the elves sing your praises or whatever you want for it because let’s face it, it’s probably the biggest thing you’ve ever won. You tell me that the FPW Championship won’t be around my waist, and maybe it will be, maybe it won’t be, but, as Dasha- and I’ll deal with that one later you selfish bastard- as she says every time I come to the ring, I’ve won titles all over the world. You’ve won... none? That’s right isn’t it? The man who carries companies has never been the man. Maybe I haven’t been the single top guy anywhere I’ve been, but I’ve been Champion in a lot of places. Ring of Honor Champion with defenses against Danielson, Steen, Lethal and many more. I’ve held gold in Mexico, Japan... if you really haven’t heard of Marafuji, maybe you should look him up by the way... Wherever I’ve been, I’ve been good enough to be at the top of a major wrestling promotion. With all due respect, you haven’t been.
“But I don’t like to prattle on about my accomplishments because the only thing that matters is my next match. And that’s against you. The Joker with the God complex. You think you’ve carried this company on your back? Marcus Allen Jones and Graham Baker put this company on the map. They’re the two who drew my attention to FPW. You were someone I noticed when I looked, because you are damn good at wrestling, but you didn’t put this place on the map. Who knows what the future holds, it the present is very predictable. You and I step into the ring and you learn the biggest lesson of your life. Since you associated yourself with that scumbag MDE, you did worse than before in the Free-1 because of a mental error. You then went on to bully your own sister at Judgement Day II and now you think you’re deserving of the FPW Championship. Real talk, Jerry: the only thing you deserve is a big time ass kicking and it seems like I’m the one to give it to you. Unlike Berry, I don’t care about turning you back in The Jester. You do whatever you like, but if you act like an asshole then you’ll have to face the consequences. And that’s what you’ll do. After our next match, you’ll be reevaluating your life choices.
“Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m busy training the next generation of wrestlers, many of whom have been personally disappointed by the person you’ve chosen to become by the way. You keep losing track of who you are. I know exactly who I am and I know exactly who I’d rather be. I don’t often get like this, Jerry, but you... you’ve flicked that little switch that nobody should touch and you’re going to find out just how good I am.”

Bo stands in his locker room wearing street clothes with the Freedom Championship draped over his shoulder as he addresses a camera
"Respect is a funny word. A word everyone seems to have their own definition for. Sato seems to believe that his disciple Tchyukiro will teach me respect when he faces me for my Freedom Championship. But the thing is Sato, I already do respect The Guardians Of Strong Style. I respect what they've achieved here in FPW. And I respect the proud tradition that they carry on with their signature hard hitting style. And it gives me an idea. You see I plan on taking this belt to new heights but I respect the history behind it. It's a history I plan to revisit because i'm making our Freedom Championship match a Hardcore Match! I will pay respect to my championship by having it defended under its original rules. I will pay respect to you Tchyukiro by allowing you to fight under the rules that you are most accustomed to"
Bo pauses as he looks down thoughtfully at the belt on his shoulder. The shot tightens on his upper half as he continues
"Now I hope Tchyukiro that you will prove yourself worthy of this opportunity. You see it's not enough for me to simply win and retain my belt. I'm not looking to simply have a long title reign. I'm looking to elevate both my own reputation and the reputation of the Freedom Championship with every match. And this is my concern because i'm not sure you're up to the task. I need an opponent that can really push me to my limits and i'm not quite sure that's you. Takahara did well against Marcus but you'll need to do much better than him if you hope to defeat me. And that is my fear. What will you be able to do to set yourself apart from your tag partner and reach that next level? I have no doubt given the rules that you'll be able to hit harder but i've been hit hard before. I wonder can you hit smarter? Or are you simply a carbon copy that Marcus has already given me the blueprint to cracking? I hope I know the answer and we give my House Guests a match to remember. But either way at the end of the night the result will still be the same. Because this... this is MY house"
Bo smirks into the camera as it fades to black

Jim Houston sits behind his desk with a smile on his face and a large bowl with several balls in it in front of him.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm proud to announce the eight participants in the third annual Young Lions' Cup. In mo particular order, they are:
Berry Bishop Myra Lopez Ella Ripley Go Shihei Tommy Saxon Jace Mason Marcus Allen Jones
and... making her return from injury... Liz Karlson.
"The bracket will now be drawn live. The first two matches will take place six days from now, with the final two taking place at the second Road To show. The winners of the first two matches will face one another in the semi-final and the winners of the final two will face one another in the second semi-final.
"So... first out is... former FPW Champion Jace Mason. And Jace will face... oooooh... Myra Lopez.
"The second match will be... Berry Bishop... who will face... Tommy Saxon.
"Our third quarter-final will be... another former FPW Champion Marcus Allen Jones. He will face... Ella Ripley.
"And that means that our final match will be... Go Shihei... and Liza Karlson."

Berry Bishop enters her gym with Fozzie in tow. Immediately her attention is drawn to the ring. In the center is a stool with a boombox and a letter on top. She steps through the ropes and looks at the envelope finding a message written on the other side
"Hit play and then open me"
Berry looks at Fozzie who shrugs and hits play. "Gonna Fly Now" by Bill Conti plays and Berry almost rolls her eyes as she suddenly realizes whose behind this. She opens the envelope to find a nicely handwritten 3 page letter
"Howdy Bombshell, it's your friendly neighborhood Freedom Champion. I heard you made it into the Young Lions Cup, congrats! I know you were upset with yourself after not only getting beat by Bobby but the clock as well but this will be different because this time we're gonna make sure you train right. Don't get me wrong, as the music would suggest I clearly love a good montage but it's gonna take more than leg warmers and syrup to win the Young Lions Cup. You need to increase your wind. There are other areas we'll improve later on but increasing your gas tank is the first step. I've written a regiment of cardio I want you to do twice a day. Start with that this week on your own and then you'll see the results for yourself in first round match against Saxon. He's a tag team specialist so if you can push the pace enough you should be able to get him a bit winded and take advantage. Maybe after that you'll see that I can help you. I mean it's not like you haven't got anything to lose that you haven't been losing already"
-Bo
Berry flips to the last page which has the running regiment written in detail with intervals and goals for time splits. She studies the sheet in detail until she snaps back to reality as the music stops
