As Thea and Myra participated in a tag match on Sixty Minutes of Freedom, Artemis Evans was interviewed by Dasha Banks.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the FPW World Champion, Artemis Evans. Artemis, at the end of the Queendom's tag match at the second 'Road To' show, we saw some questionable actions from you towards CJ Hol-"
"Questionable actions?" Artemis cut her off. "Bullshit, CJ stuck her nose where it didn't belong, she got exactly what she deserved. This business was between Bobby and I, and I would have been content to keep it that way. But CJ changed all that. The moment she moment she laid her hands on me, she became a player in this game. And in case you haven't realized by now, I play to win. Fair play to CJ, she caught me by surprise, she got one over on the champion. But I made sure that both she and Bobby understand the consequences of crossing me. I made history when I won this title, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I won't let Bobby O or CJ Holmes get in my way as I prove what I've said and become the greatest World Champion FPW has ever seen."
Dasha raised her microphone to ask another question, but Artemis grabbed the microphone. Dasha looked shocked, and Artemis made a shooing gesture.
"You know what Dasha, you can go ahead and leave, I'd like to address my challenger directly." Dasha uneasily walked away, and Artemis directed her attention to the camera. "Bobby, I have a proposal for you. You've managed to get Thea and Myra banned from ringside during your title match. You seem to believe that by doing this, you'll stand a chance against me. You won't, but that's beside the point. The point is, you've ensured that I'll be coming to the ring alone. Now, in the interest of fairness, since that was your motivation for banning my allies, how about you do the same? Leave CJ in the back and we'll settle this properly one-on-one, just like you wanted. I'll be waiting for your answer."

MDE and Jerry sit on the edge of a ring, sweat on both of their bodies and both breathing heavily.
MDE: Yeah I think I’ve pretty much nailed it now.
JB: I can’t find any more ways to counter. If you can anticipate all of those counters and counter-counter them and still hit it, it’s foolproof. You’ll certainly hit it against all of these amateurs in FPW.
MDE: Now let’s focus on you.
Jerry gives MDE a raised eyebrow.
JB: Me? I don’t have anything coming up. Houston won’t give me a match at YLC. Who knows what happens after that. I can kick back and-
MDE: Bullshit. We both know what Houston is going to give you next.
JB: Do we? Why don’t you enlighten me, oh exalted one?
MDE: You think he’s going to let that match with Williams be the last chapter in this rivalry? You executed our plan to perfection, frustrated Williams and you did give the people exactly what they deserved, but mark my words... Jim Houston is seriously pissed about this. He’s going to make you face Williams again. I don’t know how he’ll do it, but he’s going to make sure you have to face him in a ‘proper’ match. We need to be ready for it.
JB: Williams? Easy.
MDE: Wrong. Williams has his priorities all wrong. Just like you did. He’s on a rough streak at the moment. Just like you were. But he’s as good as you. Well... maybe not quite, but he can beat you. If you’re not properly prepared, he will beat you and all of the work we’ve done to get you to a place where you can’t be denied a title match will be ruined.
JB: So you want us to spend time preparing for a match that we don’t know what it’ll be? Sounds like a waste of time.
MDE shakes his head.
MDE: Do you want to be FPW Champion or not? You don’t get there just by deciding to. You’re close, but everyone else is working twice as hard because they really don’t want to see you get there, especially after what happened in the Williams match. Houston will make sure they’re working twice as hard. We have to keep working hard too.
JB: Fine. I get it. What do we do?
MDE: I can’t prepare you for another match with Williams inside the ring. I can’t mimick the things he can do. So I’ve got a few contacts lined up. We’ll get them in the ring with you to make sure you can stop everything Williams has to offer. That starts tomorrow. Today we just sharpen things up a bit. A bit more snap. A bit more speed. A bit more... energy. We’ve worked on slowing things down but if Houston does force you to face Williams in his type of match, we need to make sure we get quicker.
JB: And let’s make sure we spend some more time on that new-
MDE: Yeah. We’ll hit that today too.
JB: I’ve even got a name for it.
MDE: Names don’t-
JB: The Punchline.
MDE: The... Yeah... that works. So... let’s get to it.
MDE stands, but Jerry pulls him back down.
MDE: What? You don’t want-
JB: There’s one more thing. She refuses to interview me... and they send Ted Crewmember to do it. It’s a disgrace the way I’m treated nowadays. I carry this place and yet they try to silence me. But I deserve to have my side of the story heard too. I want to bring in my own personal interviewer. Someone who actually knows what they’re doing. Someone who can make sure that these people hear exactly what I want them to hear. Why don’t you get that assistant of yours to find some names for us to look at.
MDE: I haven’t had ‘that assistant’ for months now.
JB: I don’t care how you do it. Just get the names in. Now let’s get to work.
Jerry steps into the ring and hits the ropes as MDE arches an eyebrow before joining him.

'Afterlife' played through the arena as Jace celebrated a victory on Sixty Minutes of Freedom. But the music cut out as he motioned for a microphone.
"Before I say anything, I just want to give a big thank you to everyone in the crowd here tonight. You always know how to make every match feel special." The crowd cheer as they accept his thanks, and then go quiet as he raises the mic once again. "But tonight I have something important to talk about, and that's second chances. Second chances don't come often in any profession, and they're exceptionally rare here in wrestling. In wrestling, you get one chance, one shot to prove that you can do it, whatever it is you're trying to do. It doesn't matter whether you're a rookie looking to get signed or a veteran seeking one last run, you get one chance to prove that you've got what it takes. And in my case, I had one chance to prove that I had what it took to move on in the Young Lion's Cup. I had one chance, and I blew it. Perhaps things were out of my control, but the fact remains that I lost. And normally, that would be it, I blew my chance, so I have to move to the back of the line and wait for my next opportunity. But no, not this time. This time I'm getting a second chance. Thanks to management of Jim Houston and the assistance of Bobby O, I've got another chance to move to the finals of the Young Lion's Cup. I came up short the first time, but not going to make the same mistakes I did then, I'm going to go out there and wrestle my ass off to ensure that nothing gets in the way off winning the Young Lion's Cup!"
The crowd cheered, getting behind Mason as he grew more and more fired up. "But now we need to address the people who will be standing in the way of that victory. My opponents in this semi-final match are two people who seem to have had my number before. The first is Berry Bishop." Jace was forced to pause as the crowd cheered for the Bombshell. "Now, in the past, Berry holds a good number of victories over me, including taking the Freedom Championship from me and defeating me in the Free-1. It's seemed that she's been my weakness, my kryptonite, the one person that I just can't seem to defeat. But I'm the Eternal Student; I learn from every single match, in both victory and defeat. And I've lost to Berry Bishop enough to learn quite a bit. One of these days, I'm going to be victorious in a match with her, and I'm going to do everything I can to ensure that that day is in the Young Lion's Cup semi-finals."
"And then we have my other opponent in this match, Myra Lopez. "This time, Jace was forced to pause due to the crowd erupting in boos. "I agree. Myra only holds one victory over me, and that was primarily because of interference, but she's been a thorn in my side ever since 2020 started. It's because of her that I was unable to regain the FPW World Championship, it's because of her that I needed a second chance in the first place. But it's going to be because of me that she won't make it to the finals of the Young Lion's Cup!" The crowd cheered as Jace raised his fist. 'Afterlife began playing again as Jace left the ring and walked up the ramp, ready for the next match in the Young Lion's Cup.

Facebook Live in 3...2...1... The camera turns on and we see Bobby standing outside of the arena and looking absolutely livid. BO: Hey there Artemis. You want to talk one-on-one, me directly to you? Sure, let's talk. Because I've got a lot on mine and I think you damn well know why. So let's get one thing straight Artemis and for that matter, you too, Clutch. What happened at the most recent YLC show is absolutely un-fuckin acceptable. What happened at the prior show, with Danica's little game. Un-fuckin acceptable. Let me expand on what I said earlier. CJ and I are both well aware that being ringside could be dangerous for her. We know that. She's my manager and that comes with a fair share of risk. But here's the thing. There's a difference between her getting accidentally taken out in the heat of a match and her being purposefully and intentionally targeted. And for two weeks in a row now, these women, who want to call themselves professional wrestlers, have actively attacked CJ, who isn't a trained wrestler. What you saw from her tonight, that wasn't something I taught her lightly. But CJ wanted to ensure she could defend herself after what happenend with Danica. Make no mistake though, CJ shouldn't need to defend herself against cowardly attacks from wrestlers who have a bullseye on me. And I get it. Everyone wants a piece of the guy who's name may as well be legend here. I rid this place of TakeOver but maybe that was a mistake. Because TakeOver's absence simply created a power vacuum that the Queendom has seen fit to fill. So who better to remove another toxic faction from its place than me? And I'm more than up to the challenge, but CJ? She's not a part of this as much as you're claiming she is Artemis. And let me promise you something. And this goes for all of the roster so I hope everyone is listening. The next person to lay a finger on her will live to regret it. I mean it. So Artemis, when you say CJ got what she deserved, when you say, we found out what it was like to cross you? Oh Arty, it's cute. Consider me like a tiger in a cage. I'm tame right now and have been for a while. I've been taught how to control the rage but the tiger can come out of the cage and strike at any moment. Especially when you attack the people he loves. So you think crossing you is bad? You haven't crossed the Bastard yet... Bobby takes a second to regain his composure. Moving on, I want to address something else that happened. I was a little off my game due to a concussion I suffered two weeks ago. And maybe I shouldn't have been out there but I'm a man of my word. I couldn't leave Mason high-and-dry. And there was another benefit that you mentioned Artemis, getting your hired guns banned. It feels like fate really. I beat Jack after getting all of TakeOver banned from ringside. And now that I've got the Queendom banned, I'm going to beat you too. And then, time for me to address a new-old thorn in my side. Hi Clutch, it's been awhile. Your comments did little to phase me though you tried, I get it. See, I thought we were past everything. You tried to end my career, I tried to end yours. Even right? Guess not. And let me tell you something, I'm not going to apologize for my actions on Danica. She's a wrestler going after someone who is clearly not. In fact Clutch, I'd do it again. So whatever this is between us now, if it involves her, I won't hesitate to strike. Now, back to the matter at hand. Artemis, you asked a favor of me really, but one that is not an equivalent to what I did. CJ doesn't cheat to help me win. She doesn't break the rules and distract the refs. She's just there to be supportive and because she wants to be. See, unlike you, who if I asked you to leave the Queendom in the back, you wouldn't do it but now don't have a choice, I do. Well, CJ does. This is her choice to make. Not yours, not mine. If she wants to give you what you want, I'll abide by it, but if she doesn't, the answer is no.

MDE sits at a table in an office, different to his old one but with a similar set-up. He sorts through various papers on his desk, putting the odd one to the left but most of them to the right. After a few moments, Jerry comes in and sits on the edge of the table.
JB: How are we looking, genius? MDE: There are four possibles. Take a look through and we’ll make a decision.
Jerry grabs the pile to MDE’s left and begins to read through.
JB: Hmmmm... Alexa Blake... experience in UK wrestling... interviewed top stars... blah, blah, blah, platitudes, niceties, professionalism... hmmmm... put her in the maybe pile.
MDE takes the paper and looks at it. He looks up at Jerry.
MDE: Really? I thought she was very qualified. JB: Of course she is. That’s why she’s a maybe. But where’s the spark? Where’s the pizzazz? I’m sure she could stand there, ask me the same boring questions and then stare lifelessly after me as I walk away. But anyone can do that. I want someone special. Someone unique. Alexa Blake is not what I’m looking for. Next!
MDE looks down at the papers and picks one out. He hands it to Jerry.
MDE: I didn’t have her as a possible at first, but she might fit your requirements.
Jerry takes it and raises his eyebrows.
JB: The Crow? MDE: That’s the name she gave. JB (reading aloud): The Crow is the next big wrestling interviewing personality. Picking the bones of the losers and pecking out the eyes of the weak, The Crow will cut through the BS and get to the meat underneath. The Crow will becomes the centrepiece of the show and, alongside Gerry- she spelt my name wrong! I’m not working with that. MDE: If you want personality... JB: I want personality. I don’t want a freak. Besides, she doesn’t really have the right... aesthetic... I mean, look at those eyebrows... I wouldn’t want her shining my shoes.
Jerry rips up the paper and looks back at MDE, eyebrow raised.
MDE: How about this one. He’s a YouTuber looking to get into the wrestling business properly. He seems popular from what I’ve seen. I don’t see it myself, but I guess he’d know how to perform.
Jerry takes the paper and reads for a few moments.
JB: I know this guy. He is popular. He’s recently returned to YouTube and is creating a bit of a splash. Hmmm.... this could add some much needed publicity to this little backwater promotion. But... MDE: But? JB: We’re an equal opportunities company, right? MDE: I guess. JB: So this role should probably go to a female. FPW already has enough men running things. Let’s get some more women on the show. And not women who look like The Crow. MDE: So he’s a no? JB: He’s a no. Who’s next?
MDE looks at the two applications he’s got left.
MDE: How about this one? Her name is Thalia Colombina- JB: Oooooooh. I like. Lemme see.
MDE hands over the paper.
JB: Wow! She’s the one. MDE: She doesn’t have any experience within wres- JB: But look at her. Thalia Colombina stood next to The Joker, telling people what they need- what they deserve- to hear. Yes. Call her. MDE: I think you ought to look at the next one. She’s experienced. She’s- JB: Nope. We’ve found our interviewer. She graduated top of her class at RADA and she’s been an interviewer for some time. Finally another performer on my level here in FPW. I can imagine the interviews now. I can hear the reactions. I can see the drool on all of their lips... She’s the one. Decision made. Call her and then tell me when she signs.
Jerry leaves the room with a spring in his step as MDE looks down at the application Jerry didn’t get to see. He sighs and throws it in the bin, before looking at Thalia Colombina’s again.

Artemis Evans was backstage, the FPW World Championship around her waist as she addressed the camera.
"Bobby, you seem to have misunderstood, my request that you leave CJ in the back wasn't for my benefit. I couldn't care less, I'll beat you whether or not your girlfriend is ringside. No, my request was actually for your benefit. Being that close to the action, it can be dangerous for someone who isn't trained to handle it. With the bodies flying all across the ring, well, we wouldn't want anything to happen to little miss CJ, would we? I know you sure wouldn't, I've seen how you react when she's hurt. You lose your head completely, and I doubt you'd be able to win the title in that state of mind. So think about that when you're discussing things with CJ, okay?"
"And speaking of CJ, I'd like to talk directly to her for a moment, girl-to-girl. See, between his problems with Clutch and his quest to claim my title, I don't quite think he's in his right mind. I think that he might not fully grasp what I'm capable of, or what I'm willing to do to ensure that I remain champion. So I'm telling you as well, partly because he's made it clear that it's your choice whether or not to be at ringside, and partly because I think you're the only one who can talk some sense into him when he's in this kind of mood. So let me make things very clear: if you come to ringside, I can make no guarantees that you will not be injured. And this really an issue worth risking injury for. Bobby's not going to be able to defeat me, I can guarantee that, and your presence at ringside won't change anything. In fact, your presence might actually hurt his chances. If he's constantly looking over his shoulder to make sure you're okay, he won't be focused on his opponent. Now, Bobby's made it very clear that it's your choice whether or not to accompany him, and I'll stand by that. But I just wanted to make sure that I painted a clear picture of what the consequences would be if you show up."
"But really, none of this matters. With or without CJ Holmes, the result will be the same." She unhooks the title and holds it up to the camera. "And still your FPW World Champion. God save the Queen."

Dasha Banks was backstage with Berry Bishop, who was energetically, and perhaps a little nervously, shifting her weight side to side.
“Berry, tomorrow you participate in the triple threat semi-final match in the Young Lion’s Cup. Now, last year you made it to the finals of the tournament, only to come up short. This year, you have another chance to make it to the finals, what’s your mindset this year? How are you approaching this match differently?”
“Well Dashy, things are a little different this year, but-” Berry trailed off as Myra Lopez walked up. “What do you want?” she asked, glancing tentatively over her shoulder.
Myra chuckled before she spoke. “There’s no need to worry today Berry, I actually have a proposition for you. You and I both know that Jace Mason should not be in tomorrow’s match with the two of us. You won a tournament match to get to this point, I won a tournament match to get to this point. But Jace? He lost his tournament match, he shouldn’t have gotten to this point. So here’s my idea. Before we do anything else, you and I take him out of this match, and then the two of us, the two proper semi-finalists, we have this match between ourselves. How does that sound to you?”
Berry drew in a breath, but before she could respond, Jace Mason stormed into sight. “Look, if you’ve got a problem with me, take it up with me directly. You want to talk about what you know? Well you and I both know that your victory over me wouldn’t have come about had you not had your friend at ringside. I might not have won a ‘tournament match’ to get here, but I earned my way here just the same. And I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Myra raised an eyebrow and began to back away, but before she left, she glanced at Berry again and said “Think about my offer,” before she turned and walked away.
Jace watched her go before turning to Berry. “Sorry about that, she just gets on my nerves.”
Berry shrugged. “I get it” she replied. There was a bit of an awkward pause before Jace spoke up.
“I want to apologize for something else too. I understand that my presence in that match is going to hurt your chance of winning”
“It’s no big deal” Berry said. “If I was in your position I’d want to do anything to get back in the tournament too. Don’t worry about it.”
Jace shook his head. “But it is a big deal, I put myself and my career ahead of everyone else, something I’ve criticized many other people for doing. So I wanted to do something that those people never did and apologize for my actions. What I’m doing is directly hurting your chances at winning the Young Lion’s Cup, and a part of me feels bad about that.” “Again, it’s no big deal.” Berry said. And then she broke into a mischievous smile. “But if you feel that strongly about it, you can always pull out of the match…”
Jace laughed, but it was clearly forced. “I’m going to respectfully decline that offer. This means too much to me to give it up. Artemis stole that title from me, and this is my path to getting it back. I just wanted to clear the air, make sure there were no hard feelings between us. This is between me and the Queendom, and I’m just sorry it has to get in the way of your career.”
He extended a hand, and Berry shook it before Jace walked away. Berry stayed in place, watching him go and saying “You haven’t gotten in the way of anything yet Jace, you have to win the match first.”
