Unfortunately, I did not receive two matches on this show. I sincerely apologise to those of you who are affected by not having your match written. I wrote three matches for this show (taking up most of my Sunday) and could not write any more, as much as I wanted to.
This has happened on the past two shows. While two of these three matches were, I believe, exceptions from usually highly reliable writers, this isn't a pattern that I want to continue. Please do everything you can to make sure shows can be written in full.
The show begins with a video package:
“Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God. Judgement Day… the final day of reckoning for mankind. For one man, he will be judged on the biggest night of his life as he fights for the biggest prize. For another, he fights to rid the world of a group of evil-doers which have tormented FPW for months. Other battles will reveal themselves at the correct time and the motives of the heart will truly be exposed. Judgement Day… the biggest night of the FPW year… For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”
The video ends and Mike Watson and Steven Deville introduce us to the show:
MW: Tonight we really get set on the Road To Judgement Day II. Six matches… all of which will have a significant impact on Judgement Day II, from eliminating members of TakeOver to determining the other half of the main event against Jace Mason, Freedom Pro Wrestling is really heating up at the right time.
SD: Tonight is all about the main event. FPW Championship. MDE. Graham Baker. This is the fifth time they’ve met in FPW and they’re tied two for two. This is the rubber match and perhaps their biggest. This is Baker’s last chance to get into the main event of the biggest show of the year for the second year in a row and MDE’s opportunity to back up his claims that he is a revitalised man. I can’t wait to see these two go at it one more time.
MW: Of course we will also determine the number one contender for the Freedom Championship tonight, determine the final match in the Tag Team Number One Gauntlet Series, see if Hunter Killer will be at ringside for Judgement Day II and experience two intriguing matches as The Bishops face Death Squad and Artemis Evans faces Marcus Allen Jones.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MW: “Our opening contest here tonight plays an important role in shaping the card for Judgement Day next month. Bobby O has wanted to get his hands on former tag team partner Jack Sevren ever since Sevren betrayed him earlier this year. He’ll finally get the chance at Judgement Day, and if he can defeat Sevren’s TakeOver allies Hunter Killer tonight, they’ll be banned from ringside during the final showdown.”
“The following is a two on one handicap match scheduled for one fall!” Dasha Banks announced. ‘This Means War’ played from the arena speakers, and the crowd grew quiet, then exploded when the music paused and Bobby O emerged, nodding his head as the audience cheered him on. He started his walk down to the ring high-fiving fans, but as he grew closer, his focus shifted and began to fix all his attention on the ring. Dasha began her introductions as Bobby climbed into the ring. “Introducing first, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mr. FPW, Bobby O!” Bobby raised his arm as his name echoed around the arena, and nodded to the crowd once more.
SD: “If you ask me, Bobby just needs to give up this obsession with getting a match against Jack Sevren. Sevren currently sits at the head of the strongest version of the strongest faction we’ve ever seen in FPW. Bobby’s outnumbered five to one, and even if he wins the match tonight, he’s still got another handicap match against the Invaders before getting to Sevren. He’s got no chance at victory.”
MW: “I’m sure Bobby would disagree if he heard you.”
Steven’s reply was cut off as ‘6/8’ began to play from the speakers, and George Jackson and Sara Daniels emerged to a chorus of boos. The two of them soaked in the reaction, taunting the crowd as they made their way down the ramp. “And introducing his opponents. Representing TakeOver, the team of George Jackson and Sara Daniels, Hunter KIller!”
Jackson and Daniels stood on the apron, posing as their names were called out. They exchanged a few quick words before George Jackson stepped into the ring, only to be met with a running knee from Bobby O as he exploded out of the corner!
Match 1: 2-on-1 handicap match: Bobby O vs Hunter Killer
The ref calls for the bell as Bobby elbowed Daniels hard in the face, driving her from the apron, and then dove to make a cover on Jackson.
MW: “Bobby could win this right here!”
...1!...2!.Kick-out!
Bobby rolled to his feet as Jackson kicked out and watched as he began to rise as well, then ran to the ropes and rebounded, connecting with a running neckbreaker. Bobby shot back to his feet and ran to the ropes again, connecting with a knee drop on the grounded Jackson before making another cover.
...1!..Kick-out!
MW: “Bobby O seeking to win this match early.”
SD: “Of course he is. Like I said, he has this match and another hard match to go through before the match with Sevren he so desperately wants. The ideal strategy would be to take as little damage as possible during this match. As much as I don’t like to say it, it’s smart.”
Bobby stood up and pulled Jackson to his feet, then went to whip him into the corner, only for Jackson to reverse. Bobby went chest first into the turnbuckles and bounced back, and Jackson lifted him up into a fireman’s carry. But before he could drive Bobby down, Bobby squirmed free and dropped to feet behind Jackson, then pulled him down with an O’Connor roll!
...1!...2!.Kick-out!
Bobby sprang to his feet and turned to face Jackson as he got up. He took a step forward, but Jackson simultaneously kicked out his leg and grabbed the back of his head, pulling his throat into the ropes. Bobby staggered back, coughing, and Jackson stood up and closed the distance, dropping him with a powerful lariat. Jackson wasted no time pulling Bobby back to his feet and whipping him into the corner. He followed up by charging in and driving his shoulder into Bobby’s ribs. He rolled back into the center of the ring and connected with another running shoulder thrust, this time keeping his shoulder driven into Bobby’s gut until the ref reached a count of four. He backed up again, mouthing off to the referee before charging back in. But as he neared, Bobby used the ropes to lift himself up and over landing on the apron. Bobby met Jackson with a right hand as he turned, then pulled his head into a front facelock. The crowd began to grow louder as Bobby attempted to lift Jackson up and over, but Jackson hooked an arm over the ropes, holding himself in place. Bobby let go with one hand and scored several punches to the midsection of his opponent, then quickly re-applied his grip and lifted Jackson up and over the ropes, suplexing him to the outside! The crowd exploded as Bobby staggered back to his feet pumping his fist in celebration. He lifted Jackson up and rolled him back into the ring, then paused for a moment, a hand on his back.
MW: “Bobby putting everything on the line in this match!”
SD: “But that move might have done as much damage to him as it did to George Jackson, which could be a mistake this early in the match.”
Bobby slid back into the ring and went to make another cover, but when the ref dropped down to count the pin, he dropped down behind Jackson, allowing Jackson to use his obscured hand to jab Bobby in the eyes. Bobby winced and stood up, allowing Jackson to roll over and tag in Daniels. Daniels stepped into the ring and immediately connected with a series of quick knees to Bobby’s midsection. Bobby doubled over, and Daniels whipped him into the ropes, kicking his leg out from under him as he rebounded. Bobby collapsed, and Daniels quickly bent down and locked in a grounded version of an abdominal stretch.
SD: “And now the drawbacks of Bobby’s aggressive start begin to play into this match, as Daniels has zeroed in on the damaged ribs from that suplex to the outside. He basically signed his own death warrant injuring himself while across the ring from a submission specialist like Sara Daniels.”
As the ref circled the submission attempt, Daniels took the opportunity to drive her elbow into Bobby’s ribs, adding even more pressure to the damaged body part. A wicked smile spread across Daniels’ face as Bobby cried out, and as he began to squirm, she released the hold and pulled Bobby back up, only to pull him back down with a snapmare, and with Bobby seated in front of her, Daniels drove her knee into his back. Bobby cried out again, and the ref forced Daniels to back off as he bent down and made sure he was willing to continue. And no sooner had Bobby nodded before Daniels was shoving the ref aside and pulling Bobby to his feet. She wrapped her arms around his waist and planted him with a german suplex, then rolling through and connecting with a second, before repeating the maneuver again, bridging on the third suplex to force Bobby’s shoulders to the mat.
...1!..Kick-out!
Bobby rolled over after escaping the pin, gasping for breath. Daniels attempted to keep up the offense, but Bobby managed to weakly kick her away and lunge for the bottom rope, buying himself a few moments of reprieve. But as daniels argued with the referee, Jackson dropped off the apron and ran around the side of the ring, scoring a hard kick to Bobby’s face. Bobby was driven back, amd Daniels quickly capitalized on the opening, lifting Bobby up into a fireman’s carry before driving his injured midsection into her knee with a backbreaker., then going for a cover on the writhing Bobby.
...1!...2!..Kick-out!
But as Bobby kicked out, Daniels grabbed his leg and pulled him into a rolling kneebar!
MW: “No Escape locked in by Sara Daniels!”
Bobby began reaching for the ropes desperately seeking to free his leg. But as he realized that he wasn’t making any progress, he switched tactics, instead using his free leg to batter Daniels. At first, Daniels refused to release to hold, but as the onslaught of stomps continued, she had no choice but to let go. Bobby began standing up, and Daniels crawled into her corner and made the tag to George Jackson, who wasted no time in stepping between the ropes and rushing Bobby. Bobby ducked his first attempt at a clothesline, but had no defense as he rebounded and connected with a discus lariat. Jackson didn’t give Bobby a second to recover, lifting him back up and into a fisherman’s suplex, driving Bobby’s back into the mat once again. But he didn’t maintain his grip and attempt a cover, instead standing up and pulling Bobby upright with him, lifting him onto his shoulders in perfect position for a powerbomb. He backed up a few steps to give himself more room, then ran across the ring and drove Bobby down with The Ender, holding his shoulders down for a cover!
...1!...2!..Kick-out!
Jackson sat up and glared down at at Bobby, then lifted him to his feet and whipped him into his corner. He ran in and connected with a powerful forearm, then tagged in Daniels as he held Bobby in place. The two of them swapped positions, then Daniels tagged back out and dragged a dazed Bobby into the center of the ring, walking past him and settling into the corner across from Jackson, with Bobby in between them.
MW: “It looks like Hunter Killer are setting up for The Long Goodbye.”
And as soon as Watson said this, Daniels charged forward and connected with a shotgun dropkick, driving Bibby back into Jackson, who lifted him into a torture rack. He went to deliver the Hunter Killer driver, but Bobby flipped out and landed on his feet, then connected with an RKO! Daniels rushed forward to attack Bobby, but Bobby stood up and met her with a superkick, then dove for a cover on Jackson!
...1!...2!...3!
Winner: Bobby O [13:24]
MW: “He did it! Bobby O has beaten Hunter Killer, and now they will be banned from ringside when he meets Jack Sevren at Judgement Day.”
Bobby stood up as Dasha announced his victory, clutching his ribs. He raised one arm and smiled to the fans, then staggered to the ropes, using them to hold himself up.
SD: “I’ll give credit where credit is due, Bobby O with an impressive victory tonight. But the damage may have already been done. Bobby has another match with a very similar circumstances before his match with Sevren, and it looks like he barely survived this one. Bobby may have had his hand raised here tonight, but things are looking grim for his chances at Judgement Day
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Backstage, Dasha Banks stands with Aaron Williams.
DB: Aaron, thank you for joining me. Tonight is a big opportunity for you as you face Botiatus to potentially get a shot at the Freedom Championship at Judgement Day II. What do you think will be the ey to victory tonight?
AW: That’s a good question. I’ve watched a lot of Bo and he’s very good. In a nutshell, that’s how I’d describe the guy. He’s cleaned up on the West Coast and he’s beginning his journey to national prominence. I think he’ll be someone who becomes very well known in the next year. But that’s not going to start tonight. To beat Bo, I’ll need to avoid his strikes and make sure I don’t let him build momentum. I need to wrestle a smart match tonight and I need to ensure I’m always aware of where I am and where he is. One mistake and I could be out for the count.
DB: You’ve had some great matches this year but not too many big wins. Your confidence must have taken quite a hit…
AW: You now me, Dash… I’m a confident guy because I know what I can do. When you’ve wrestled as long as I have, you get to know your strengths and your weaknesses. More importantly, you get to know how to use your strengths and protect your weaknesses. I’m confident that I can still do those things. But you’re right… when I came here I made a big splash and, to be honest, I expected to be wearing gold by now. The fact that I haven’t done it has been disappointing but it’s not going to define my year. I’m determined to end the year with a big win and to go into next year as the man to define the Freedom Championship and what it stands for.
DB: Final question. You love to have the match of the night. If you have the match of the night tonight and lose, will you be satisfied?
AW: Another great question. I always go out there trying to have the best match of the night. I was trained that way and I’m never going to change. But tonight… winning is the main aim. If I can win in two minutes, I’ll do it. If it takes me thirty minutes and I wrestle an absolute classic, I’ll be delighted. A thirty-minute classic which ends with a Botiatus win… I’ll be proud of my efforts and the match but another loss will be hard to take.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MW: Aaron Williams seems very focussed tonight.
SD: He does. And that match should be a great one.
MW: Agreed. But this next match will be very different… Berry Bishop took on MDE in the Uncensored main event and it didn’t go her way, but worse than the loss was what happened afterwards. Jerry Bishop, who had joined us on commentary and had added some valuable insights after training with MDE prior to the match, entered the ring and he raised MDE’s hand while his very own sister lay there in the middle of the ring.
SD: Blah, blah, blah. Jerry didn’t know Berry existed until half-way through last year. They hardly have a lifelong bond. Jerry is training with MDE and entered the ring to raise his partner’s hand. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about his sister. He’s just got other priorities.
MW: What could be a greater priority than family? I can’t support his actions.
SD: And he doesn’t care if you do or don’t. Jerry Bishop is doing everything for Jerry Bishop right now. That’s all that matters to him. Tonight he’ll do what he needs to do to win this match and to fight his way into a prominent Judgement Day II match.
MW: Well, let’s see what happens… Jim Houston set this match up to try and reconcile the differences between Jerry and Berry. I’ve seen enough wrestling to feel uneasy about what’s to come.
“The following contest is scheduled for one-fall and is a tag team match. Introducing first, they are former FPW Tag Team Champions, accompanied to the ring by Ava Knight and ‘Sin’s Left Hand’ George Mercer, from Las Vegas, Nevada, Death’s Right Hand and Uncaged Fury respectively… Aiden Balmer and Mary Downing… Dead Squad!”
Ava Knight appears on the entrance ramp to introduce Death Squad as smoke pours out. After her introduction, a klaxon sounds and ‘Legend Has It’ plays while three spotlights hit Balmer, Mercer and Downing. The three competitors lead the way down the ramp as Knight follows behind while the fans boo them all loudly. Ava Knight overtakes them as they get to the ring and she holds the ropes open for each of them to step through before they pose in the centre of the ring, the crowd continuing to boo the group.
‘Comedian’s Gallop’ begins to play and Jerry Bishop emerges onto the ramp, face painted as it was at Uncensored, to a considerable number of boos from the fans. He pauses as he looks around the arena, where many of the boos come from younger fans, before walking straight down the ramp, foregoing the usual histrionics of his entrance. He walks past the very same young fan who once asked for his autograph at the diner Jerry frequents and he pauses, looking at him. The young fan looks at Jerry with sadness in his eyes and he shakes his head. Jerry moves on, sliding into the ring and resting against the ropes.
As Jerry’s music stops, a loud ‘Be-rry Bi-shop’ chant begins. Jerry loos around the arena as it continues and a close-up shot shows contradictions in his face. ‘The Entertainer’ begins to play and Berry emerges to another loud pop. She looks down at Jerry in the ring, her face covered with uncertainty before she bows deeply and pretending to play along to the music. She hopscotches down the ramp and then looks at the young fan who Jerry stopped near. He cheers loudly for her and she huge him, leaving him beaming. Berry them plays the ring apron as she climbs into the ring, somersaulting over the top rope and bowing in the middle of the ring before turning to face her brother. He doesn’t meet her eyes.
Match 2: Jerry Bishop and Berry Bishop vs. Death Squad (Aiden Balmer and Mary Downing):
Jerry steps through the ropes before bothering to discuss anything with Berry, leaving her looking at him as Downing jumps her from behind. She takes her down and stomps on her repeatedly before pulling her up by her hair and whipping her into the Death Squad corner. Downing charges at her and connects with a knee lift to send Berry staggering out of the corner. Downing connects with a jumping neck breaker and makes the cover, 1-no. Berry gets her shoulder up. Downing then drives a forearm into her face and lifts her again, driving her into the corner again and landing a superkick to the gut before lifting Berry’s legs onto the ropes either side of the corner and then dropping her with a rope-hung DDT. She makes another cover, 1-2-no. Again Berry manages to kick out.
Downing then reaches up and tags in Balmer, who charges across the ring to take Jerry down, but Jerry drops off the apron before Balmer can touch him. Balmer stares down at him for a moment before turning back to see Berry pulling herself up on the ropes. He quickly moves over to her and grabs her in a front-face-lock before driving his knee into her sternum. He quickly transitions into a vertical suplex, dropping Berry but maintaining the grip and swivelling his hips to pull her up again, this time connecting with a snap suplex. He makes a cover, 1-2-no. Berry kicks out. Balmer pulls Berry up again, not giving her any time to recover, and he connects with an overhead belly-to-belly into the turnbuckles.
MW: This is a dominant start after Downing’s blindside attack on Berry to start the match.
SD: After Downing started the match with an intelligent move to take advantage of Berry’s distraction, Death Squad are proving why they deserve to be in the Tag Team Number One Contender Gauntlet Series and why it’s a travesty that they weren’t included.
MW: Well we can always go back to their conduct as champions to see why. Anyway, Berry really needs to make a tag to Jerry.
SD: Who doesn’t seem especially motivated by this match tonight.
MW: Worryingly not.
Balmer tags in Downing before pulling Berry to her feet again. As he holds her up, Downing slingshots into the ring and connects with a cutter. Balmer puts the boots to Berry as the fans boo and the official has to hold him back. Some of the younger fans yell for Jerry to get in there and help Berry, but he remains on the apron. Downing taunts the fans, who begin a loud chant for Berry, helping her to struggle back to her feet. Downing turns to her and looks for a superkick, but Berry catches the leg and spins her around, connecting with a roundhouse kick of her own. The fans chant Berry’s name louder and louder and she uses the boost to dive to Jerry and make a tag.
Immediately, the chant stops and the arena goes quiet. Jerry looks around at all of the fans, extending his arms to them, before shaking his head and turning to Downing, who tags in Balmer. Balmer charges at Jerry but Jerry quickly cuts him off with a rolling elbow. As Balmer staggers, Jerry takes him down with a Russian leg sweep before rolling backwards and pushing himself up to the second rope. Balmer stands and Jerry dives off, taking him down with a blockbuster. Downing enters the ring and Jerry ducks a wild right hand, landing a running bulldog to take her down too. He stands and looks to the crowd, but they don’t react for him. Shaking his head again, he moves back to the corner and tags in Berry, even though she hasn’t fully recovered.
MW: That’s a questionable decision from Jerry Bishop right there.
SD: He just took out two people who these fans really don’t like and they didn’t give him anything for it. Jerry has just shown a flash of what he can do in that ring- a flash of what these fans have been desperate to see from him for a long time- and they’re not bothered.
MW: I’m not sure it’s that. I think they just question his methods and his attitude nowadays.
SD: His successful methods and his winning attitude? They’re getting the Jerry Bishop they’ve always wanted and they’re rejecting him. Do you have any idea how stupid that is?
MW: They’re telling him that they want The Jester. Not-
SD: The Jester is dead. The Joker is here and they’ll learn to like it.
MW: I’m not so sure, Steven.
SD: Well then they’re morons. This is who Jerry Bishop could always have been- who they always wanted him to be.
Berry enters the ring reluctantly and she stalks Balmer. As he turns towards her, she lands a mid-kick and then a second before leaping up onto the ropes for a disaster kick, but George Mercer takes her off the ropes with a big elbow strike. The fans boo as Berry hits the mat and Balmer picks her up, landing another snap suplex. Jerry stands and watches, shaking his head but still not taking any action. Balmer lifts Berry and forces her into the corner, tagging in Downing before leaving the ring and climbing to the top rope. Downing pulls Berry from the corner and takes her down with another neckbreaker before Balmer leaps off the top rope with a big-time frog splash. Downing makes a cover, 1-2-no! Jerry comes in and breaks up the pin.
The fans begin to cheer as Jerry pulls Downing up and traps her arms, dropping her with a snap Last Laugh. Balmer enters the ring and Jerry kicks him in the gut, trapping his arms too and dropping him with the same move. Mercer limbs onto the apron and Jerry lands a rolling elbow before pulling him through the ropes and landing a third snap Last Laugh. He surveys the three members of Death Squad before looking down to Berry. The cameras barely catch him mumbling, “It’s not that hard.” The cheers that started to come for Jerry stop abruptly as he climbs through the ropes and begins to walk back up the ramp. Silence turns to boos as Jerry looks like he’s walking out for a second time, but this time he stops at the top of the ramp, turning to look as Berry stands.
Berry stares at Jerry with a look of confusion on her face. She extends her arms to ask him what’s going on but, as she’s distracted, Balmer and Downing begin to recover behind her. She turns, but it’s too late. Downing lands a superkick to the gut and she and Balmer hit the ropes. As Berry stands upright again, they land a huge big boot/bicycle knee combination that sends Berry crumpling to the mat. Downing makes the cover as Jerry, wide-eyed, begins to charge back down the ramp.
1… Jerry gets to ringside.
2… Jerry slides into the ring and Mercer cuts him off.
3.
Winners: Death Squad (11:47).
Jerry battles with Mercer as Balmer and Downing join the fray. They try to take Jerry down but he fights them off, landing a rolling elbow to take down Downing before grabbing both Balmer and Mercer and connecting with parallel snapmares before landing a double Touchstone Takedown. Jerry looks down at Berry, a hand running through his hair, before he shakes his head, leaves the ring and angrily storms back up the ramp.
MW: I’m not sure I can put into words everything that has happened in this match.
SD: Jerry Bishop showed his sister how it was done but she wasn’t able to replicate. Berry Bishop lost this match.
MW: But Jerry was the one who walked- let’s get to backstage.
Backstage, Jerry continues to storm through the corridor but Dasha Banks chases after him.
DB: What was that?
Jerry keeps walks but Dasha, tears on her cheeks, grabs his shoulder and whips him round to face her.
DB: What was that? That’s Berry! Walking out on Bobby and Botiatus is one thing… but that’s Berry! How could you?
Jerry looks at her before turning to walk away but Dasha grabs him again.
DB: Not this time. After everything you’ve… after all of it. I deserve an explanation!
Jerry looks Dasha in the eyes and, for a moment, a flash of guilt passes through his.
JB (angrily): You want an explanation? Fine. I’m the one they loved. Not Berry. I’m the one who was their hero. I was the first one here, entertaining them from the very beginning. From day one! All of that time I was the lovable clown… The Jester… who they all wanted to see. Sometimes I won and sometimes I didn’t but they loved me all the same. But all the way through that time I’d always be asked by kids wherever I went… when are you going to win the FPW Championship? They all asked me that because they were all so desperate for me to be the biggest star in the company. They wanted that more than I did. I was happy being the lovable clown because it made me feel good. But they wanted this! I went out and tried to better myself, to give them all what they wanted. What you wanted too! And this is how they react? She gets the cheers and I get booed? I showed out there that I’m twice the wrestler she is. I took them all out twice and she could barely lay a finger on them. I love Berry and I always will but she can’t be the one they cheer over me. I’m giving them what they wanted and they can’t react like that. They can’t. Two and a half years… it’s all leading to them getting what they want and now they decide they don’t want it? They want her? Another lovable clown trying her best but not quite good enough to win the big match? I’m tired. I’m tired of them. I’m tired of being booed. I’m tired of not getting the respect I deserve for the sacrifices I’ve made for them. Do you think it’s been easy working with him? Do you think I’ve not wanted to slap him across the face for what he did to me? For what he did to her? But did I do it? No! I made sacrifices for them. So they could get the Jerry Bishop they wanted. But now they’ve got it and they don’t like it. So they don’t get The Jester anymore. They don’t get the Jerry Bishop they wanted. They get the Jerry Bishop they deserve. They get The Joker.
Jerry storms off, leaving Dasha to break down further.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match 3: Artemis Evans v Marcus Allen Jones- Match not received.
Winner: Artemis Evans.
The match was going to be a back-and-forth battle between the two, Evans managing to cut Marcus off whenever he built some momentum and Marcus being a little hesitant and unsure of himself. As Marcus looked ready to get the win, The Queendom were going to distract him into a roll-up three-count for Artemis Evans. Marcus was then going to look dejected before changing the look to looking resolved- knowing what he needed to do.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Backstage, Elizabeth Karlson stands with the Freedom Championship over her shoulder and Ted Crewmember by her side.
TC: I’m joined by Liz Karlson, the Freedom Champion. Liz, after coming through the triple-threat at Uncensored, you now will face either Botiatus or Aaron Williams at Judgement Day II. Do you have a preference?
EK: Not really. I’ve faced and beaten Aaron Williams before but I haven’t wrestled Botiatus. If either of them thinks they can take this belt, I’d love to see them try.
TC: Will you be watching this match closely?
EK: Of course. What kind of question is that?
TC: I’m sorry… this isn’t usually my role… um… you said you don’t have a preference… um… what type of match would you like against the winner tonight?
EK: I’m pretty comfortable in whatever match I end up in. Until I know who I’ll be facing, I won’t be selecting a match type. There’s no point in setting up a match until I know my opponent.
TC: Jace Mason is the man I think most people think of when they consider the Freedom Championship. What do you need to do to get to that level yourself?
EK: Keep it. Plain and simple. Take on all challengers and grind them into the dust. I’ve only defended this belt once- twice if not for Danica Jane and her sneak attack- so I’m looking forward to doing so some more. Now if you don’t mind, I’m not sure this is going anywhere.
TC: No, sorry… sure.
Karlson walks off and Ted looks into the camera.
TC: I’m not cut out for this. The sooner Dasha can get this sorted out the better.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MW: Welcome back to ringside for the penultimate match in the Tag Team Number One Contender Gauntlet Series.
SD: The Suplex Sweethearts have beaten Hunter Killer and The Invaders, impressing me along the way, but tonight could be the night where their luck runs out.
MW: We don’t know who they’ll face just yet of course. We know there are two teams remaining, The Dogs of War, who are yet to debut as a tag team in FPW, and a team as yet unannounced. The winner of tonight’s match will go on to face the third team in two weeks’ time, with the winners getting their shot at The Guardians of Strong Style’s Tag Team Championships at Judgement Day II.
SD: I really think Tommy Saxon and Ella Ripley could take those Tag Team Championships from Tchyukiro and Takahara.
MW: If anyone can, it may be them. But we don’t know who they’ll face tonight or if they’ll make it to Judgement Day II at all.
SD: My money is on them, but that could change based on whoever steps through the curtain tonight.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is the fourth match in the Tag Team Number One Contender Gauntlet Series and it is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, they are the Ice Coalition Wrestling Tag Team Champions, from Colby, Kansas and London, England respectively… ‘The Stargazer’ Ella Ripley, ‘Dauntless’ Tommy Saxon… The Suplex Sweethearts!”
‘Turbo Killer’ begins to play and Saxon and Ripley come through the curtain with a lot of energy. They come together with Saxon putting an arm around Ripley and kissing her passionately before peeling away and throwing a few shadow punches while Ripley stands and admires him. They move quickly down the ramp. Saxon looking very pumped up while Ripley moves with much more control. As they get to the ring, Saxon slides in while Ripley takes her time climbing the steps and stepping through the ropes. The two of them pose for the fans, who respond as they did before with a mixture of cheers and boos, before resting against the ropes and waiting for their opponents.
“And their opponents…”
After a brief pause, ‘This Fire Burns’ begins to play and Clutch McCloud and Russ Bolt walk down to the ring, accompanied by Danica Jane and Richard Crowley. The fans boo as the now-revealed mystery team walk down the ramp, Danica massaging Clutch’s shoulders while Crowley talks into Bolt’s ear. They reach the ring and climb in, Saxon and Ripley standing their ground as Clutch and Russ discuss last-minute strategy.
Match 4: Tag Team Number One Contender Gauntlet Series Match 4: Suplex Sweethearts v Clutch McCloud and Russ Bolt:
Clutch stands in the ring and points at Saxon to begin the match with him. Saxon and Ripley exchange a glance and then Saxon gives Clutch a smirk before stepping back through the ropes. Ripley comes forward and beckons Clutch in, but he holds up a hand and calls for Saxon to tag himself in. Ripley advances but Clutch quickly tags in Bolt, shaking his head at the idea of facing a woman. The fans boo as Clutch steps through the ropes, Richard Crowley clearly shaking his head and turning away in dismay as Danica reaches up and strokes Clutch’s calf.
Bolt enters and he and Ripley lock up. Russ takes the early advantage, driving a knee into Ripley’s gut and whipping her into the ropes, taking her down with a clothesline and then making an early cover attempt, 1-no. Ripley easily kicks out. Bolt allows her to get to her feet and then pulls her in for a waistlock, but Ripley quickly performs a standing switch before taking Bolt down with a Saito suplex. Ripley taunts Clutch, beckoning him into the ring, but he looks on in disgust, refusing to enter. She turns to Bolt and stomps on his back as he gets to all-fours. She then hits the ropes and connects with a knee lift to the side of the head, dropping down for a cover, 1-2-no. Bolt kicks out.
Ripley then stands and lifts Bolt, forcing him into her corner. She holds him there as Saxon tags in and lands a few right hands before Ripley leaves the ring and Saxon drags Bolt out from the corner. He kicks him in the gut and lands a DDT before making a cover, 1-2-no. Bolt kicks out again. Crowley bangs the mat and tries to encourage Bolt to get over to Clutch, who is now eager to enter the match. Saxon pulls Bolt to his feet and whips him into the ropes, catching him with a belly to belly suplex before standing and eyeballing Clutch. Clutch begins to step through the ropes but the official quickly holds him back as Saxon laughs.
MW: Tommy Saxon with a few mind games towards Clutch.
SD: This match will be a challenge for Clutch McCloud. He doesn’t believe in intergender wrestling. If he can only wrestle one half of the team, it gives the Suplex Sweethearts a big advantage.
MW: It does. And I don’t think they need an advantage given how they’ve performed so far in this gauntlet series.
Saxon turns back to Bolt but, with the official distracted, Bolt jams a thumb into his eye. Saxon staggers blindly for a moment, allowing Bolt to get to his feet and connect with an impressive dropkick. Bolt then makes the tag to Clutch who enters the ring quickly. As Saxon stands, Clutch lands a step-up enzeguiri which staggers Saxon. Clutch then hits the ropes and takes him down with a running forearm. He looks down at Saxon before lifting him and forcing him back into the corner before unleashing a flurry of forearms which send Saxon slumping to a seated position. Clutch then backtracks before charging at Saxon and landing a sliding forearm before dragging him away from the corner and making a cover, 1-2-no. Saxon kicks out.
Clutch pulls Saxon to his feet and whips him across the ring, aiming for a discus lariat, but Saxon ducks it. He hits the opposite ropes and comes back at Clutch, who performs an impressive leapfrog, sending Saxon into the opposite ropes again. When he comes back, Clutch leaps up and connects with a hurricanrana before standing and tagging in Bolt. Bolt pulls Saxon to his feet and lifts him for an Alamaba slam. Saxon hits the canvas hard but Bolt doesn’t make the cover, instead looking to climb the ropes to the top. He looks down at Saxon and points to his elbow, but the momentary pause is enough for Ripley to move over to the corner and springboard onto the top rope into a frankensteiner!
MW: Wow, that’s impressive athleticism from Ella Ripley!
SD: Russ Bolt paused for just long enough that she could stop him.
MW: And now this match is back in the balance after Clutch and Russ looked about to pick up a big victory.
SD: But Bolt can make the tag. Saxon and Ripley are both down. I think that gives Clutch and Russ the advantage.
Bolt slowly crawls towards the corner where Clutch stands on the apron. Crowley encourages him over and he finally makes the tag. Clutch enters the ring and moves straight to Saxon, who has just got to his feet. He connects with a series of European uppercuts, forcing Saxon back into the corner. As he continues to connect with the uppercuts, Ripley grabs him from behind. Instinctively, Clutch strikes her with a forearm, but he pauses as he realises he’s hit Ella Ripley. He looks down at her for just long enough that Saxon can grab him from behind and connect with a German suplex into the turnbuckles. Clutch slumps down into a seated position and Ripley, recovering, steps through the ropes to make the tag as Saxon rolls to the outside to recover.
She enters the ring and charges across at Russ, taking him off the apron with a running forearm. Ripley then turns and charges at Clutch, connecting with the Colby Cannonball. As he rolls away from the corner, she climbs to the top rope and points down at him, only for Crowley to distract the official and Danica Jane to grab Ripley’s leg. Ripley kicks away at her but she manages to hold on, forcing Ripley to a seated position on the top. Jane then leaps up and connects with Lights Out. Ripley droops but doesn’t fall. Crowley continues to distract the official as Jane climbs up to the opposite turnbuckle. The fans boo but also wait, unsure of what is about to happen. Danica Jane then pauses for a moment before running across the top rope and landing a shining wizard to Ripley, dumping her into the ring and causing Jane to lands awkwardly before rolling out.
MW: What incredible athleticism!
SD: Danica Jane is a former cheerleader and gymnastics star. I’m not surprised.
MW: Even some of these fans who really dislike this group are impressed with that.
SD: And so they should be.
MW: But this surely can’t be how the match ends. A distraction and interference once again tonight.
Crowley yells at Clutch to roll over and make the cover. He sits up and looks at Ripley before draping an arm over her, 1-2-no! Saxon dives in to break up the cover. Bolt enters the ring and runs at Saxon, who intercepts him with a right hand, followed by another, and then the kick, back elbow and lariat which complete the Tommy Gun. Bolt drops to the floor as Clutch stands and stalks Saxon. Saxon turns right into TarHEEL, only for Ripley to pull Clutch in and connect with Star Destroyer. She then climbs back up to the top rope, checking that Danica Jane is still down, and connects with the Lucky Star Press, hooking the leg for the cover, 1-2-no! Clutch gets a shoulder up.
Ripley bangs the mat before standing and pulling Clutch to his feet. She looks to Saxon but he’s still down. Instead, she sets Clutch up for the Stargazer Suplex, but he counters into a fisherman suplex, holding for the cover, 1-2-no! Ripley just manages to kick out. Both of them make it to their feet and Ripley aims a forearm at Clutch, who catches it, but hesitates, telling her that this isn’t right. Crowley on the outside screams for Clutch to finish her off, but he looks down at his agent and says no, only for Ripley to pull him in for a small package, 1-2-no! Clutch just kicks out. Ripley looks to her partner, who’s just back in his corner, and she moves over to make the tag. However, Russ Bolt cuts her off with a flying forarm before she can tag Saxon in. He then drags Clutch over to the corner and steps through the ropes before making a tag.
Bolt enters the ring and pulls Ripley away from her corner, kicking her in the gut and then lifting her for a powerbomb. He makes a cover, 1-2-no! Ripley just gets her shoulder up. Bolt then stands and pulls Ripley with him. He quickly sets her up and lifts her for From Downtown, but Saxon enters the ring and pulls Ripley down before he can hit it. Bolt turns right into The Knuckler, staggering him before Ripley connects with Starstruck. She makes the cover as Saxon holds off Clutch, 1-2-3.
Winners: Suplex Sweethearts (14:37)
.
Saxon and Ripley embrace in the middle of the ring as the fans give them a mixed reaction as usual. They look down at Russ Bolt as he lays there before smirking and leaving the ring, walking up the ramp arm in arm before kissing passionately at the top of the ramp. As they leave, Clutch enters the ring and checks on Russ, who sits up. Danica Jane enters and she and Clutch help Russ to his feet. As they’re about to leave the ring, Richard Crowley enters with a microphone.
“That’s it? Another loss. Another loss that we should have won. We had the match won but you screwed it up.”
He points at Clutch, who stares back at him.
“I told you it was me or her. It’s obvious what you’ve chosen. I’m done with you, Steve. You’re a failure and a nobody- at least you are now anyway.”
Clutch looks at Crowley and shakes his head, turning and holding the ropes open for Danica to step through. He follows her, giving Crowley one last look and one last shake of the head. Bolt stands in the ring.
“How about you, Russ?” Crowley continues.
“Are you going with him? Look at you. You came back and sided with Steve. You sided with the man who attacked you and almost put you out for good. You came back to be his lackey. And who advised you against it? I did. I advised you to go after Steve. With me backing you, you could be miles away from a loss like this. You’ve got all the ability you need but he’s holding you back- she’s holding you back too. You didn’t listen to me then, but how about now? Stick with me, get your revenge for what he did to you and I’ll take you further than you could ever dream of. What do you say?”
Bolt looks at Crowley and then at Clutch and Danica. The fans seem to want to see him side with Crowley, who stands with his hand out to Bolt. Bolt steps forward and reaches out, about to shake the hand before backing off and quickly unleashing a Technical Foul. The fans boo as Bolt looks down at Crowley before leaving the ring and walking up to join Clutch and Danica. The three of them stand with their arms raised as the boos continue to rain down.

Backstage, TakeOver stand in a group in a locker room. Hunter Killer look tired after their match as Jack Sevren paces back and forth.
JS: Two on one and you couldn’t beat him. You couldn’t do it. We have plans. We know our strength and we know how to use it, and now you’re reducing it. Two on fucking one.
GJ: We did our best.
JS: Well that makes it okay then. No it fucking doesn’t. What good are you if you can’t even win a handicap match? You’re banned from ringside in a match where Bobby O could get lucky and then where does that leave us. TakeOver permanently disbanded and all of us forced to go our separate ways. Is that what you want, Jackson?
GJ: No. Obviously, but-
JS: But what? There are no buts. There were two of you and one of him. There shouldn’t be any excuses. Get the hell out of here. Both of you.
Jackson and Daniels just look at Sevren.
JS: Go!
They back out of the locker room, leaving Sevren and The Invaders.
JS: You two saw what happened tonight. We can’t have the same result next time. We need a new plan.
H: You know we’re not going to fuck this up.
JS: I hope you’re not going to fuck this up.
D: Don’t you think you can beat him one-on-one?
JS: Of course I can beat him one-on-one. I can and will if I have to. But we don’t take chances. We take advantages. The stakes are too high for us not to have an ace up our sleeves. They got rid of two of those aces but losing tonight. There’s two left. Make sure they don’t go back into the pack.
H: We know what we’re doing.
JS: You better know what you’re doing. Next week, you’re going to beat Bobby O and stop him from getting what he wants. You’re going to restore our advantage and then we’ll finally get rid of Bobby for good. With him gone and Marcus Allen Jones dealt with, there’ll be nothing in our way of running this place.

MW- "Our next match is a potential barn burner and with a Freedom Championship opportunity on the line no less"
SD- "Both of these men love to push the pace and they might have the two deepest gas tanks in all of FPW"
MW- "They've both certainly shown great feats of endurance this year. Aaron Williams went for longer than anyone in the Free-1 and Botiatus spent over an hour in the FPW Rumble"
SD- "Not only that but these men are very similar in their styles. This one is truly a pick ‘em"
“The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a Number One Contenders match for the Freedom Championship! Introducing first, from The Bay Area, California, this is… Botiatus!”
Lights drop and the screen displays the foot of wide stone steps. The opening chords of 'Famous' play as the shot pans up to show severally steps and then Roman pillars in front of a villa style home from ancient Rome. As the song kicks into high gear with a scream the lights flash back on in the arena and the home on the screen dissolves into the words THE HOUSE OF BOTIATUS. He emerges and walks straight to the ring but he plays to the crowd the entire way blowing kisses and soaking in the adulation. He walks to the ringside and hops onto the apron walking over to the corner where he ascends. He looks down to his left and points to the announce table. As the song kicks into its hook the arena goes black again and a spotlight comes on Botiatus as he soaks in the crowd in his signature pose. The lights return after the hook ends.
"And Introducing his opponent. Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is A Plus, Aaron Williams!”
‘I Still Believe’ begins to play and Aaron Williams bursts through the curtain, belting out the lyrics and encouraging the fans to do the same. They sing along with him and after the hook ends he makes his way down while slapping hands with fans until he spots a young boy in an Aaron William's shirt. He points at the shirt and smiles into the camera before handing him a pen to write a message on his knee pad. The boy writes 'House Of Williams' and Aaron grins giving him a high five. He then slides into the ring eyeing Bo who watches with a neutral expression. Aaron takes off his hat and tosses it into the crowd to a loud cheer. Bo looks amused and responds by taking off his hat and throwing it into the crowd to an equally loud cheer. Both men then remove their shirts simultaneously and toss them into the crowd in opposite directions to an even louder cheer before the ref calls for the bell.
Match 5: Freedom Championship Number 1 Contenders Match: Aaron Williams vs Botiatus (written by Botiatus):
Both men circle the ring once before stopping in their tracks as a duelling chant breaks out of 'AAR-RON WILL-IAMS! H.O.B! AAR-RON WILL-IAMS! H.O.B!'. Both men look around as the duelling chants continue before looking at each other and shrugging. Williams offer a handshake which Bo accepts to the pleasure of the crowd. They begin circling again and then engage in a strong lockup. Bo begins to force Williams back but Williams quickly switches positions using Bo's momentum to pivot and slip around him transitioning into a Hammer Lock. Bo tries to move with the momentum as he attempts to spin out of the hold but Williams catches him halfway as he traps Bo's head looking for a quick DDT. Bo blocks the attempt and then tries a Northern Lights Suplex but Williams flips out landing on his feet. They stare at each other as the crowd applauds and another dueling chant rings out.
SD- "An even start to this one which should come as no surprise"
MW- "Both inside the ring and out. These fans seem evenly split on who they're supporting"
Bo offers a hand and Williams takes it as they lock up again one hand and then the other. Bo again begins to overpower Williams trying to force him down to the mat but he counters with a Monkey Flip and this time Bo is the one that's able to adjust and land on his feet. They stare at each other again and Williams takes a step to the right to begin circling but Bo comes right forward catching Williams by surprise with a Palm Strike. He unloads a succession of rapid fire strikes backing Williams into the ropes. Bo then goes for a Mid-Kick but Williams is able to catch it. He throws the leg aside and Bo spins into a Dragon Whip that sends Williams over the top rope and onto the apron. Bo then Kip's Up as half the crowd roars while the other half boos.
MW- "Bo in control now after catching Williams to break the stalemate"
SD- "It looked like Williams was expecting another lockup but Bo has shown once again that he'll change tactics at a moment's notice"
Bo sees Williams using the ropes to pull himself up and he goes for a Sliding Drop Elbow but Williams counters at the last second with a Slingshot Double Stomp as he comes down hard on Bo arm. Bo grabs the arm in pain as backs away to the nearby corner but Williams is right on top of him delivering a Running Splash! He runs to the opposite corner as now his half of the crowd comes alive, chanting 'Ooooo-OH' with each Splash as he delivers four more Splashes until Bo falls down into a seated position. Williams roars as his fans continue to get behind him before delivering a big Cannonball that crumples Bo completely to mat. Williams pulls Bo out of the corner and makes the first cover of the match 1, 2, Bo powers out. Williams wastes no time in pulling Bo to his feet but Bo catches him with another Palm Strike. He goes for a second but Williams delivers a hard Mid- Kick. Another Mid-Kick leaves Bo doubled over on his feet and Williams hits the ropes coming back with a Discus Lariat that Bo ducks under before quickly hooking Williams’ head to deliver an Inverted Headlock Backbreaker. Bo quickly moves over to Williams and begins to rain down stomps as he mostly targets Williams back. After a few blows Williams attempts to roll over but Bo drops both his knees into Williams’ back before locking in a Headlock to keep Williams grounded. Forced to take much of Bo's weight, Williams struggles as he manages to pull his knees under him. Bo immediately pulls Williams to a seated position as he switches holds, pulling back both of Williams’ arms into a Crucifix and driving his knee deeply into Williams back. Williams tries to move towards the ropes but Bo displays excellent control as he keeps Williams trapped center ring.
MW- "Bo seems to have found a target in Williams back"
SD- "Indeed and that could spell trouble for Williams"
MW- "We all know how resilient Williams is. It'll take a lot more than this to take him out. He's already getting back to his feet"
Williams is back to one knee. Bo digs his knee even deeper but Williams pushes through as he gets back to both feet. Bo immediately lets one arm go as he tries to deliver an Arm Stunner to the other but Williams shoves him off into the ropes and Bo rebounds right into a Discus Lariat that flattens him! Williams takes a few moments to hobble over to the ropes as he tries to work the feeling back into his back. Bo gets up to his feet and charges at Williams who dips Bo over the top rope sending him tumbling to the ground as his momentum takes him right into the guardrail. Seeing Bo draped over, Williams grabs the top rope and bounces a couple times testing his back
MW- "Williams back in control here"
SD- "And he could be looking to fly"
MW- "450 SPLASH!"
Williams comes down hard on Bo and both men lie stretched out. The crowd chants 'HOLY SHIT' and the ref calls out to both men before starting his count

7- Bo gets to his hands and knees and Aaron moves in with a kick to the ribs.
8- Williams grabs Bo and tosses him back into the ring. He staggers briefly from the pain once again before sliding back in to break the count.
With Bo struggling back to his feet, Williams looks for a Running Lariat but Bo ducks underneath and Williams rebounds into a Scoop Powerslam! Bo goes for the cover 1, 2, Williams powers out. Bo pulls Williams back to his feet quickly but Williams catches him with a chop. He lands another chop but a third is stopped as Bo scoops him up quickly into a Pendulum Backbreaker. Williams is in pain but Bo quickly picks him up looking for a Northern Lights Suplex that Williams counters with a Desperation DDT! Williams crawls to the corner using the ropes to pull himself up as he ascends all the way to the top. The fans are on their feet as Williams grits through the pain to deliver a Swanton Bomb!
MW- "WHAT A MOVE FROM AARON WILLIAMS!"
SD- "Indeed but I'm not sure if it was the smartest idea. His back was already injured and after that impact he can't even get over to make a..."
Williams suddenly kips up and his fans explode. He moves gingerly over to Bo as he makes a cover 1, 2...no! Bo just gets a shoulder up. Williams gets back to his feet as he works furiously to get the blood flowing in his back. Bo slowly crawls over to the ropes using them to climb up and Williams charges at him with a Running Knee Strike to the gut. Williams sets Bo up for a Powerbomb but his back gives out as he’s lifting and Bo is able to drop out of the hold and clothesline Williams over the rope. Williams keeps hold of the top rope to balance himself on the apron but he's caught by a Sliding Elbow Drop. Williams doubles over the second rope and Bo grabs his head as his fans come alive once again. They count along as Bo delivers Rising Knee Strikes and at 9 Bo hits the ropes to deliver a Running Knee Strike for 10. Williams drops into the ring and Bo steps out to the apron as he hypes up the crowd. He points to himself 3 times as his fans boom H.O.B. before delivering a Slingshot Leg Drop! Bo immediately goes for the cover 1...2...NO! Williams just gets a shoulder off the mat and Bo holds his head in disbelief.
MW- "We see it from Williams all the time but it's still amazes me how much punishment he can take and keep going."
SD- "An admirable effort no doubt but he may not last much longer. Bo's looking to put this one away."
Bo is back to his feet and he signals for the House Call Elbow. He pulls Williams up and onto his shoulders and drops him onto the corner for Snake Eyes. Bo hits the ropes loading up but Williams dodges under the elbow and Bo rebounds into a Dropkick from Williams! Both men are back on their feet quickly but Williams is first delivering a hard Mid-Kick followed by a Standing Double Stomp that he rolls through into a Second Rope Moonsault!
MW- "Williams with a sudden burst but can he finish the combo with his back damaged?"
SD- "THIS COULD BE IT"
MW- "POP-UP PILEDRIVER! WILLIAMS COMPLETES THE QUICK FIRE COMBO! 1...2...NO!"
Bo just gets a shoulder up and the arena explodes with half cheers and half looks of disbelief. Both men lay exhausted on the mat as 'THIS IS AWESOME' chants rain down on them. Williams gets back to his feet and goes to pull Bo up but he's caught with a Knee Facebreaker Smash. Bo then lifts up Williams looking for a Stun Gun but Williams grabs the top rope and kicks Bo in the face. Bo backs away to the opposite ropes and holds his face for a brief second before looking up right into a Step Up Enzugiri! Williams immediately puts Bo in position but knowing his back is still damaged he gets creative this time by lifting Bo just high enough so he can bounce him off the top rope and then spins to deliver a Powerbomb Backbreaker! He hooks both legs for the cover 1...2...NO! Williams pulls Bo up and whips him into the ropes and aims a punch but Bo dodges under before exploding off the second rebound with a Double Forearm Strike. Williams pops back and is taken down by a second Double Forearm Strike. He pops up again and Bo dodges his punch sending Williams rebounding into an attempted Tilt A Whirl Backbreaker but Williams counters into an attempted DDT that Bo counters into a Northern Lights Suplex! He rolls through but Williams catches him into a Small Package 1, 2, no Bo just manages to escape. Both men are back to their feet quickly and Williams catches Bo with a Shotgun Dropkick that knocks him into a seated position in the corner as his head hits hard on the second turnbuckle.
MW- "Ouch, Bo hit hard right there. This could be Williams golden opportunity"
SD- "And he certainly knows it. Looks like Williams is going for broke here"
Williams pats his knee as he signals for the A Triple Plus. He again gets creative with his back still hurting as he lifts Bo pushing him up onto the top rope. He's forced to stop for a brief second due to the pain and Bo uses the opportunity to leap over him while using his back foot to kick Williams into the top turnbuckle. Williams is dazed and stumbles around right into a House Call! Bo makes the cover hooking both legs 1...2...3!
Winner: Botiatus (19:20)
.
MW- "A grueling victory for Botiatus who will now go on to challenge Elizabeth Karlson for the Freedom Championship at Judgment Day"
SD- "And for Aaron Williams another valiant effort that ends up in vain"
'Famous' plays and Bo stands with his hand raised as the crowd cheers both men for a fantastic match. He then helps Aaron to his feet and offers a handshake which is accepted before Aaron rolls out of the ring, pausing for a moment on the apron looking dejected, to allow Bo his moment. Bo climbs a corner hyping up the crowd as he mimes a belt around his waist but he's interrupted as 'Turn It On' plays and Karlson comes out to the top of the ramp. She smirks at Bo and raises her Freedom Companionship high into the air. Bo smirks back and points at himself three times as the crowd booms H.O.B.

Backstage, Berry Bishop stands with Dasha Banks outside the door to Jim Houston’s office.
BB: Dashy… I don’t want to do this.
DB: Neither do I… but it might be the only way. Our last chance.
BB: Maybe if I talk to him… Maybe I can talk sense into him. Maybe Fozzy…
DB: Berry, you saw what he said to me. It’s not him. I’m not sure even if you managed to find Matt and Che… I think this might be the only way we can get the real Jerry back.
BB: But we’ve never… and I don’t want to.
DB: No-one wants you to either. But there comes a time where you have to choose between what is right and what is easy. This is right. It’s not easy. But it is right.
BB: Is there really no other way?
DB: I don’t think there is. Ted?
Ted Crewmember speaks from off screen.
TC: I don’t know… I’ve known him for longer than either of you and… I don’t see any other way.
BB: Fine. I don’t like it… and I won’t enjoy it… but if it’ll bring him back… I’ll do it.
DB: Okay then…
Dasha knocks on the door of Jim Houston’s office before entering.
DB: Mr. Houston…
JH: Dasha. Are we doing a segment? I don’t recall arranging-
Berry walks in behind Dasha.
JH: Ah. I was wondering if I might see you, Berry. Come in. Have a seat.
Dasha and Berry both sit down.
JH: I think I know what you’re going to ask for. I don’t want to grant it.
BB: Mr. Houston… I don’t want to have to do it, but I think I have to. The Joker isn’t my brother. FPW needs The Jester back and this might be the only way to do it. If it gets him back, then it’s a sacrifice I have to make.
DB: Mr. Houston… I know Jerry. I’ve seen how he’s changed over the last six months and to tell the truth… it’s breaking my heart. I couldn’t get through to him but maybe Berry can. If the two of them… if this happens, then maybe he’ll see sense. I don’t ask you for much, but please… we’re doing this for Jerry.
Jim Houston looks both of them in the eyes for a few moments.
JH: Well then… I might regret this and I damn sure know I don’t like doing it, but if you’re one hundred percent sure?
Dasha nods and then turns to Berry, who gives a small nod before looking down at the floor.
JH: Ok. At Judgement Day II, Jerry Bishop versus Berry Bishop.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MW: Wait… did I just hear that correctly?
SD: I think you did. Jerry Bishop has been on quite the journey and Berry Bishop has chosen to stay out of it. Until now.
MW: And now we’ll get a match that I’m not sure any of us expected to see. This wasn’t publicised at the time, but, for the last two Free-1 tournaments, there has been an agreement that Jerry and Berry can choose to be placed in separate blocks. On each occasion, they accepted that offer. And yet now Berry Bishop, albeit reluctantly, has asked for this match.
SD: And I think she’ll regret it. Berry Bishop, as Jerry himself said, is not the wrestler that Jerry Bishop is. She’s far from it. And she’ll be going into this match against her brother in danger of losing much more than just the match.
MW: Well after that bombshell, one of the biggest match announcements I can remember, we must refocus ourselves, however hard that may be. Up next is a huge FPW Championship match.
SD: New Graham Baker versus new MDE. This ought to be something special.
MW: These two have perhaps the oldest rivalry in FPW. They first met on February 25th last year at The New Batch. They met for a second time at Temple of Doom in New Orleans before Baker finally chalked up his first victory at The All Star Tag Team Classic. They then went their separate ways, Baker growing to become FPW Champion and MDE accepting his offer of a match anytime, anyplace at Young Lions’ Cup. Baker tied the score at two apiece and now they face one another with the roles reversed. MDE is the FPW Champion and Baker is the desperate challenger with his final chance to win the belt that he covets so much.
SD: This could be Baker’s last chance or it could be his greatest triumph. The winner goes on to the main event of Judgement Day II, the biggest show of the year- possibly the biggest in FPW history- while the loser will… well, we don’t know if there’s even a match for the loser of this fight.
MW: You used the word fight there. That’s what this is, isn’t it?
SD: Absolutely it is. These two men have so many similarities but they also have so many differences. They detest one another because they’re not sure whether or not they’re better than the other. Tonight will go a long way to proving who is better.
MW: Well the talking is over. Now we get to one of the biggest FPW Title matches of the year. MDE versus Graham Baker… five.
“Our main event contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the FPW Championship! Introducing first… from London, England… he is a former FPW Hardcore Champion, the first ever Free-1 winner, a former FPW Champion with more successful title defences than anybody in the history of FPW. Accompanied by Kate Mustang, he is The Aviator… Graham Baker!”
Boos rain down as staccato machine gun fire echoes around the arena. As ‘DNA’ begins, Graham Baker swaggers through the curtain and onto the stage. He holds the front of his jacket open, looking down at his naked waist before exploding forward and making his way down the ramp, Mustang following. He ignores the fans on his way to the ring, where he climbs up onto the ropes and springboards into the ring, dropping to both knees and aiming double finger guns back up the ramp. The song stops and Baker stands, his head angled down and his eyes staring straight ahead at the entrance.
“And his opponent… from Plymouth, England… he is the current, reigning and defending FPW Champion… he calls himself Simply Great… MDE!”
More boos rain down as Dance of the Knights begins to play. MDE walks out onto the ramp, FPW Championship around his waist, and he looks around the entire arena before smirking as fans abuse him. MDE walks slowly down the ramp, eyes focussed on Graham Baker, until he reaches the young fan in a Berry Bishop t-shirt that he saw earlier. MDE pauses and looks at the child, whose red eyes suggest he’s been crying. The child’s dad stands and steps in front of him, telling MDE that it’s his fault that the child is upset. MDE simply smirks again and walks up the steps, steps through the ropes and enters the ring.
MW: This is interesting… both of these men being booed out of the arena. Who will these fans get behind in this one?
SD: I’m not sure it matters. As the match goes on, the fans will get sucked in to the high-level action and they’ll forget they hate these two, as long as they focus on one another, which I fully expect them to do.
MW: And look at this, neither man has blinked. They’re not coming together forehead to forehead. MDE isn’t holding the belt up to goad Baker. These two are just in their corners staring holes in one another.
SD: I’ve been in a lot of arenas and seen a lot of big matches. I know a big fight feel when I experience one and this is most definitely a big fight feel.
Match 6: FPW Championship: MDE vs. Graham Baler:
The official calls for the bell and MDE and Baker continue to stare at one another. They slowly come forward and instantly jump into a powerful lock-up. They each try to force the other back but neither will give ground for long, each recovering a step as soon as they lose one. They break the lock-up after realising they won’t get an advantage and they continue to stare one another down. After a moment, they lock up once again, MDE getting a little lower and forcing Baker back towards the corner. As they get there, Baker manages to turn him, forcing MDE back against the turnbuckles. The official quickly comes in to force the break and Baker breaks, but he unleashes a volley of palm strikes to leave MDE covering up.
The official forces Baker back again but he pushes him aside and comes back to MDE, unleashing more palm strikes before laying in some knees to the gut. Baker pulls MDE out and looks for an exploder suplex, but MDE blocks it, hooking Baker’s arm and lifting him for a vertical suplex. Baker, however, drives a knee down into MDE’s skull and drops down behind him. He looks for a German suplex into the turnbuckles but MDE drops low and rolls Baker through, looking for a version of the Emergency Landing, which Baker quickly escapes from, looking for a standing double stomp, which MDE rolls away from, both men staring one another down.
MW: This is next level counter-wrestling!
SD: These two know each other as well as anybody in FPW. Baker came out with the intensity but MDE has managed to resist him so far.
MW: Baker looks very focussed tonight.
SD: As we all expected, least of all, MDE. MDE knows that this one will go long and he knows that the longer it goes the more frustrated Baker may get. MDE’s problem is that Baker could easily find a way to win quickly.
MDE quickly gets to his feet and the two men come together, standing forehead to forehead as they stare into each other’s eyes. They take a step back before another powerful lock-up which sees both men doing everything they can to dislodge the other. Neither man moves despite the other’s attempts, and they break their lock up once again. Each man takes a breath before moving forward again. They each move to lock-up, but each man tries to duck under and they end up switching place. MDE is quicker to capitalise, locking Baker in a headlock, and taking him over. Baker quickly gets his legs up to get MDE into a headscissors. MDE kicks his legs, but Baker keeps the hold locked in, trying to transition into Emergency Landing.
MDE clasps his hands and manages to get to his feet, freeing his arms and trapping Baker’s legs, transitioning into a Boston crab. As MDE tries to turn Baker, he wriggles from under him and reaches up to land a hard forearm. MDE doesn’t lose his grip, looking to turn Baker again, but Baker resists, freeing on of his legs and driving his boot into MDE’s face. MDE staggers back, dropping the other leg, and Baker quickly gets to his feet. He runs at MDE, who scoops him up and looks for a shoulder breaker, but Baker drops down behind him and lands a dropkick to the back of the head. MDE staggers towards the ropes and Baker runs at him, connecting with a shotgun dropkick to the back to send him to the outside. Baker then charges at the ropes, leaps up and connects with Clipped Wings to the outside!
MW: Graham Baker flying through the air!
SD: He takes MDE down hard but he’s done himself some damage too.
MW: Graham Baker is not afraid to take risks to win matches and this title is the most precious thing in the world to him. He’ll do anything to win it back from his greatest nemesis.
Kate Mustang comes to Baker’s side and helps him to his feet as MDE remains down. Baker goes straight over to MDE and lands some hard stomps to his left arm. He pulls MDE up and drives him back-first into the barricade before wrapping his arm around it. Baker backs off and then connects with another shotgun dropkick right to the arm. MDE reels away and cries out in pain but Baker doesn’t let him get away. Instead he wrings the arm and pulls it up behind MDE, running him into the ringpost shoulder first. MDE spins away but Baker keeps hold of the wrist, landing a ripcord Pele kick to the arm.
MDE holds his arm again and again Baker doesn’t let up, kicking MDE’s legs out from under him and taking a step back before charging up to him and landing a hard kick to the arm again. Satisfied with his work, Baker lifts MDE and rolls him back into the ring, positioning his arm to be dangling off the apron. Baker then climbs onto the apron and sets himself before connecting with Landing Gear right to the arm. MDE tries to pull the arm towards him, but Baker catches it again and drives an elbow repeatedly into the shoulder before positioning the arm on the apron once again. Baker climbs back up onto the apron but then sits onto the turnbuckles and pushes himself up to the top. He looks down at the arm before leaping off and connecting with another Landing Gear, this one from the top rope.
MW: MDE’s arm must surely be broken!
SD: It may well be and if I may say so it was brilliant strategy from Graham Baker. This match has swung completely his way.
MW: And now the Emergency Landing becomes the biggest weapon either man possesses. If he can get it locked in, MDE will not be able to resist for long.
SD: And now MDE will struggle to lock in his own holds as he has to wrestling with one arm for the rest of the match. Even if he gets a shot of adrenaline later on, it’ll affect him for sure.
Baker climbs back into the ring as MDE rolls away towards the middle, cradling the arm. Baker quickly moves to MDE, looking to take the wrist, but MDE pulls him in quickly for a small package, taking advantage of his haste, 1-2-no. Baker frees himself. Baker stands before MDE and he drives a knee into his gut before backing away and connecting with a knee to the side of the head. MDE drops but keeps his left arm underneath him, making it harder for Baker to target it. Baker tries to reach in and take the arm, but MDE positions himself well and Baker can’t pull it free. He adjusts, driving the point of his boot into MDE’s shoulder blade instead.
Baker pulls back and stalks MDE, giving him time to get to his feet. MDE slowly does, pulling himself up on the ropes. As soon as MDE turns, Baker runs at him and leaps up for a knee strike, but MDE catches him and delivers a one-armed powerbomb. MDE drops to the mat and tries to get the blood flowing to his arm rather than trying to cover Baker. Baker rolls away towards the opposite side of the ring to ensure MDE can’t make the cover anyway. With a little feeling coming back into the arm, MDE turns to Baker, who is getting back to his feet. He quickly moves in, driving a knee of his own into Baker’s gut before driving him back into the corner and driving his good shoulder into Baker’s gut over and over again.
Baker drops down to a seated position and MDE steps through the ropes. With Baker still down, MDE reaches and grabs his left arm, pulling it back hard. He reaches for the right arm and pulls it back as best he can with his bad arm. MDE places a book on the ringpost and pulls back hard, Baker crying out in pain. MDE then quickly leaps up and hooks his legs around both arms, locking in a version of the Simply Great Stretch using the ringpost to assist. The official gives MDE a five-count, and he uses all of it before breaking the hold and dropping down to the floor, where Kate Mustang berates him.
MW: I have to give it to MDE; that was a great piece of innovation.
SD: It certainly was. He couldn’t use his arm to maximum effect but his legs will do the damage even better. Baker’s shoulders will be very sore and he may well have torn a pec being stretched like that.
MW: Both men have made their mark on the other and neither man will have full use of every weapon in their arsenal. Which man will be able to compensate for that the best?
MDE drags himself back into the ring and he quickly moves in to Baker as he pulls himself up, hooking his arms around his waist and taking Baker down with a snap German. MDE gets to his feet, intensity all over his face, as he lifts Baker’s left arm and drives his knee into the point of the shoulder. Baker cries out with pain and MDE transitions quickly, trapping Baker’s right arm underneath him and looking to pull back on the left one. Baker resists, kicking out with his legs and getting them under him before flipping into a British Bulldog-style cover, 1-2-no. MDE manages to get his shoulder up.
Both men quickly scramble to their feet and eye one another from across the ring. Baker charges at MDE and looks for a running lariat, but MDE catches the arm and looks to lift Baker onto his shoulder. Baker drops down and looks for another Pele kick, but MDE dips his knees and catches Baker, delivering a shoulder breaker. Baker drops to the mat and MDE makes a cover, 1-2-no. Baker manages to kick out. MDE transitions again, looking for his own version of the Emergency Landing for a second time, but he can only pull back with his right arm and Baker manages to free himself quickly, transitioning into his own Emergency Landing, but only able to do so on the right arm. MDE tries to resist, but Baker manages to take the left arm and he quickly transitions into a Fujiwara arm bar. MDE cries out in pain, but manages to hook a foot over the bottom rope, Baker breaking the hold on a four-count from the official.
MW: This is a masterclass in opportunistic wrestling tonight.
SD: It really is. Both men tried to make something of nothing but it was Baker who had the wherewithal to transition from a good hold into a potentially match-winning one. And now it’s Baker who can take the advantage in this match.
MW: It seems like both men are looking for the submission victory tonight.
SD: It’s a matter of pride for them both. They see themselves as the best technician in FPW and possibly in the world, and they want to assert their dominance over the other.
Baker stands and points double finger guns at MDE as he pulls himself up on the ropes. He charges at MDE and drives his knee into his head. MDE begins to drop but Baker doesn’t let him, instead pulling him up and managing to deliver a deadlift German suplex. MDE rolls through onto his back and Baker looks for the Fujiwara armbar again, but MDE was expecting it, reaching up and pulling Baker down into a backslide pin attempt, 1-2-no! Baker just manages to escape. Baker rolls through and MDE looks for a knee strike of his own, but Baker ducks under it and MDE almost runs into the turnbuckles. As he turns, Baker lands a huge shotgun dropkick to send MDE’s head ricocheting off the turnbuckle.
MDE drops down to a seated position and Baker backs up into the opposite corner, pointing the finger guns once again. Baker charges at MDE and drives both of his knees into MDE’s face. Baker doesn’t waste any more time, pulling MDE up and turning him to face the turnbuckles. He rests him there and backs away before charging at him and landing another hard knee to the back of the head. MDE staggers back but Baker catches him and lifts him up to the top rope. MDE sits facing out of the ring as Baker climbs up behind him. Baker stands for a moment before leaping up and taking MDE down with Ejection Seat. Baker rolls into a cover but he can’t hook the leg, 1-2-no! MDE just kicks out.
MW: That’s a huge kick out!
SD: How did MDE kick out there? I was waiting for the bell to ring!
MW: He may have kicked out of that but I’m not sure how much more he can take. This is like watching the Graham Baker of old when that title was over his shoulder.
SD: And it may soon be over his shoulder again.
Baker pushes himself up to his feet and looks down at MDE as he tries to stand. Baker then pulls MDE up and kicks him hard in the gut. He lifts him up onto his shoulders and pauses for a moment but MDE manages to drop down behind Baker before he can hit the Mustang Driver. MDE pulls Baker in for a German suplex, but Baker blocks him, grabbing the left wrist and freeing himself, before he wrings the arm and leaps up, grapevining it and forcing MDE to the mat. He pulls the arm to its full extension and pushes his hips up to inflict the greatest possible damage.
MDE cries out in pain once again and he tries to push up with his legs to relieve some pressure. He enables himself to turn into the pressure and he links his hands, forcing Baker’s shoulders to the mat, 1-2-no! Baker releases the hold to escape the cover. MDE rolls away and gets under the bottom rope as Baker pushes himself up to a vertical base. Baker looks around and realises that MDE has left the ring. He looks down and sees MDE cradling his arm on the floor. Baker waits for MDE to stand and then grabs the top rope, delivering a wrecking ball dropkick to send MDE back into the guardrail once again.
Baker grabs MDE’s left arm and looks to wrap it around the guardrail for a second time. He backs away and aims a kick at the arm, but MDE blocks him by lifting his own boot. Baker comes back at him but MDE blocks him with a boot again. Baker tries a third time but MDE frees his arm and gets out of the way, Baker kicking the guardrail before turning into a belly to belly suplex into the ring apron. Baker arches his back as MDE pulls himself up, adrenaline starting to course through his arm. MDE stands and picks Baker up, rolling him onto the apron. MDE follows and lifts Baker, holding him on his right shoulder before stepping across the apron and driving Baker’s back into the ringpost. Both men drop onto the floor and Mustang comes over to check on Baker.
MW: That has to have evened the injury score!
SD: MDE pulling things out that I don’t think any of us ever expected to see him do.
MW: That’s what these two bring out in one another. Only Marcus Allen Jones has made Baker dig deeper than MDE has.
SD: And I think MDE will have to keep digging deep because I’m not sure he’ll have the strength for that Triple Gutwrench.
The official checks on both men before beginning a count…
1……….
2……….
3……….
4……….
MDE begins to stir and, seeing Baker is still down, he takes a moment to flex his arm.
5……….
6……….
MDE pulls himself up and slowly rolls back into the ring, rolling away towards the middle.
7……….
8……….
With Mustang’s help, Baker gets to his feet.
9…..
He dives back into the ring to just make it in time to break the count.
MDE stands and quickly moves in, driving a knee into Baker’s back and then hooking his arm across Baker’s head. MDE begins to drive his elbow into Baker’s shoulder but quickly pulls away as the pain spreads through his arm. MDE quickly traps Baker’s right arm with his right leg before pulling back on the left arm. Baker resists but MDE manages to pull it back and hook his left leg over it, completing the Simply Great Stretch. Baker cries out in pain and grits his teeth. The official checks on him but Baker refuses to give up. MDE keeps the hold locked in and does everything he can to apply more and more pressure. Baker continues to fight against the pain, refusing to give up. MDE keeps the hold locked in, nobody resisting for as long as Baker is.
MW: This resistance from Graham Baker is incredible.
SD: This man will never give up. Never. It’s as simple as that.
MW: Baker wants to win this championship more than anything he’s ever wanted. He’s a desperate man and he will not allow himself to give up on his dream.
SD: Absolutely not. MDE will need to pin Baker or make him pass out.
MDE’s face looks more and more concerned as Baker continues to refuse to give up. Slowly, Baker inches his feet across towards the ropes. MDE tries to grab them with his left arm, but he can’t maintain a grip because of the damage done by Baker, and Baker manages to hook a leg over the bottom rope. MDE releases the hold and bangs his left fist on the mat, which he instantly regrets. He pushes himself to his feet and looks down at Baker as he lies prostrate on the mat, his foot still resting on the bottom rope. MDE moves over to Baker and begins to pull him to his feet. He hooks his right arm around Baker and shakes off his left before joining his hands, lifting Baker for a gutbuster. It connects and he quickly transitions into a gutwrench suplex. MDE then floats over and tries to lift Baker to complete the Triple Gutwrench, but he can’t do it, his strength sapped by the last two moves.
MDE tries one more time but he can’t lift Baker. He releases his grip and instead chooses to roll Baker over, looking for a cover, only for Baker to reach his legs up and force MDE to the mat, grapevining the left arm and locking in the Emergency Landing once again. MDE cries out with pain this time but he doesn’t give up. He tries to push up again but Baker pulls back even harder, stopping MDE from getting into a better position. MDE drops back down and tries to resist as Baker pushes his hips up, but the extra effort it taking its toll on Baker too and he can’t maintain it for long. He releases on hand to instinctively reach to his back, and MDE uses the momentary pause to free his arm.
MDE tries to roll out of the ring again, but Baker won’t let him. He scrambles over to him and pulls him up, looking to lift him up onto his shoulders. He struggles, the damage from the Simply Great Stretch stopping him from using his full strength. With one final effort, he manages to lift MDE and he uses the last bit of his strength to connect with a Mustang Driver! MDE rolls away just enough so that Baker can’t make an immediate cover, and he lies still with exhaustion. After a few moments, Baker rolls over to MDE and drapes an arm over him, 1-2-no! MDE just manages to get a shoulder off the mat.
MW: What is it going to take to win this match?
SD: I don’t know. Both of these men have left the other broken but neither will allow the other to win the match.
MW: They’re both refusing to give up. We know MDE doesn’t have the strength to hit the Triple Gutwrench and I don’t know if Baker can hit another Mustang Driver. I don’t know if we’re going to get a winner in this match.
SD: Well we’re going to have to have one one way or the other. There’s no time limit in this match so they could go forever if they wanted to.
Baker and MDE lie motionless in the ring as the official checks on both men. Mustang bangs on the mat and yells for Baker to get to his feet, but, when they do stir, both men stir at once. Baker moves to one set of ropes while MDE moves to the opposite set of ropes, each man pulling themself to their feet. They turn and face one another once again, each man staggering towards the middle of the ring. When they meet, Baker aims a forearm at MDE, who immediately catches it and looks to take Baker down. Baker resists, trying to lift MDE up onto his shoulders. He lifts him but MDE drops down to his feet and locks his hands around his waist. MDE looks for a German suplex but Baker lands on his feet, only to stagger back into the corner.
MDE turns, only for Baker to charge at him and connect with a hard knee strike. Baker makes a cover, 1-2-no! MDE just gets a shoulder up. Baker catches the arm and looks for the Fujiwara arm bar again, MDE again trying to counter with a backslide, but Baker rolls through and delivers a Kamigoye knee strike. MDE drops and Baker looks for the Fujiwara arm bar again, only for MDE to hook a foot over the bottom rope. Kate Mustang quickly pushes it off the rope but the official doesn’t see it, turning back to MDE as he looks close to tapping out. As the crowd start to boo for the first time in a long time, Marcus Allen Jones comes charging down the ramp and climbs onto the ring apron.
MW: What’s he doing here?
SD: I don’t know.
MW: Could this be the Plan B that Marcus has been talking about?
The official stands and turns to Marcus and, as he notices him, Baker does too. He breaks the hold and staggers over to Marcus, shoving the official out of the way. Marcus tells Baker that he’s not going to win the belt that way and Baker strikes Marcus with a palm strike. Suddenly, from behind, MDE pulls Baker down into a roll-up, 1-2-3.
Winner and Still FPW Champion: MDE (38:02).
MW: MDE wins it!
SD: Thanks to the interference of Marcus Allen Jones!
MW: Marcus refused to allow Baker to win with cheating from Kate Mustang. I don’t know why it matters to him but clearly it does.
MDE rolls out of the ring and picks up the belt in his right hand, his left arm hanging limply beside him. He walks past an irate Kate Mustang and eyeballs Marcus as he walks back up the ramp. Marcus stares him down but then turns to Baker and Mustang in the ring.
SD: And we now know that MDE will face Jace Mason in then Judgement Day II main event!
MW: And what a match it will be. But… wait a minute… Marcus has a mic.
MAJ: I know what it’s like to cheat to win that belt. I did it enough myself. But after our Hell in a Cell match, I decided to change my ways. And you changed yours. Maybe I was wrong to do it, but ever since I offered you my hand, it’s like we’ve swapped places. I respect the hell out of Graham Baker the wrestler, but you don’t need to win like you have been. But at least you’ve been winning. Ever since our last match, I haven’t. So it’s time to confront my demon. Baker, I’ve never beaten you… but that’s going to change- it has to change- at Judgement Day II. Graham Baker versus Marcus Allen Jones… one more time!
The show closes with the fans cheering loudly as Marcus and Baker stare each other down.

4- Williams uses the apron to pull himself up as Bo remains motionless.
5- Williams moves over to Bo but he's dead weight and the attempt to lift him causes Williams to grab his back in pain.
6- Williams works the feeling into his back again as Bo begins to stir.
