Ted Crewmember stands with MDE after the show has gone off the air.
TC: I'm here with MDE, who got a big victory over Bobby O tonight. MDE, what is your reaction to this win after so long away from the ring? MDE: Where's the usual person? TC: She... she couldn't be here. MDE: Better things to do than interview me? TC: No, she just... I've been asked to do it instead. MDE: Fine. My reaction to this win... when the match was first signed, it wasn't about me or Orton. It was about Jerry, and what he was going to be. But then I got into the ring and the bell rang. I didn't expect to get into an FPW ring again... in fact, I didn't expect to get into any ring again for a long time. But when the bell rang, I was reminded of why I've given my life to wrestling. The feeling of out-thinking someone, of out-wrestling them. The feeling I get when I know I can physically dominate someone else and bend them to my will... I've missed it. The match became about me beating Orton as much as it was about me showing Jerry the right way to approach this sport. TC: Do you plan to go back to focussing on training or is this the beginning of a return to the ring? MDE: I expect I'll focus on training... I still have work to do with Jerry. But... tonight I found that I'm not ready to walk away from wrestling as a competitor yet. I plan to continue to wrestle for the foreseeable future. TC: Do you have a future opponent in mind? MDE: Opponent? No. Match? Yes. You see, it seems fairly clear from the end of the show tonight that our FPW Champion is either unable or unwilling to continue on as champion. I don't pretend to know what Jim Houston is thinking but, given the way things were between Orton and Davey Jones, I have to think Orton was going to be one of the next in line to get a match for the belt. Well, I've beaten Orton. So I want my shot at the belt. Whatever way Houston has of determining a new champion or, even if Davey Jones somehow does decide to return here, I expect to be in that match. I don't care what the match is. I want my chance. TC: And what about Jerry, do- MDE: I'll comment on Jerry in the near future. Maybe when I do you can send your usual interviewer...
MDE gives Ted a knowing look before walking away.

Sato stands with a blurred ring in the background where the sounds of hard strikes can be heard.
"Congratulations Hunter Killer. Hello again Suplex Sweethearts. We look forward to watching your match. One more thing. If FPW Champion not defending and title available, Tchyukiro and Takahara try to win. Guardians of Strong Style better as team, but capable of winning FPW Championship too."

A video from backstage at Dead Man's chest was uploaded to the FPW website, showing Dasha Banks meeting Jace Mason after his match.
"Jace, we just learned that in one month's time at Uncensored, you and and Aaron will go head to head, with your chance at the guaranteed FPW title match at Judgement Day on the line. What are your thoughts on that?"
"Well, I certainly wasn't expecting it. But maybe I needed it. Maybe I have let this victory go to my head a little bit, and I needed someone to bring me back down to earth. And if anyone had to do it, I'm glad it was Aaron, and I'm glad it leads to another match between us. I always enjoy sharing the ring with that guy, whether we're teaming or we're going up against each other. But don't think that just because I've been brought down to earth I will fight any less hard to hold onto this. Whether or not I let the victory go to my head, I earned this trophy, and I'm not going to let anyone, not even Aaron, take it from me."

Aaron Williams walks through the street, a handheld camera pointing at his face.
“Jace, my friend, you did indeed earn that Free-1 trophy and I’d expect nothing less than a total refusal to give it up. I know I’d be exactly the same if I’d been then one who won it. You and I are friends, we’re buddies, we’re compadres, we’re confidantes and we’re amigos. We’re a team. I want to make it clear to you that I didn’t make that challenge out of jealously or spite but out of respect. I respect the hell out of you for winning that tournament and I respect the hell out of you for stepping up to it. If I didn’t respect you, I’d have made a very different challenge. However, the truth remains that we’ve wrestled one another once and I was the one who came out on top. I do believe I deserve the chance to take that title shot and I appreciate you giving it to me. You didn’t have to do that and I certainly respect you for doing it. At Uncensored, you’re going to get the very best of Aaron Williams.
Aaron turns the camera away but then returns it to his face, a grin plastered on it.
“Oh... one more thing. I’ve heard all the scuttlebutt about the FPW Championship. MDE says he wants a match for it. Takahara and however the hell you spell the other one say they want it. Sevren obviously wants it. Baker obsesses over it. I don’t know what the deal is with it, but what’s another hat in the ring, eh? If there’s some kind of title match going, I’d love to be involved, even if it means pulling double duty at Uncensored.”

Jerry Bishop is training in the ring in the gym with some young students. He’s dispatching them fairly quickly and they’re cycling in and out each time he hits a big move. In the background, the door opens and MDE steps in, pauses as he looks at Jerry with a look of surprise on his face, and then approaches the ring. When Jerry sees him he stops and the trainees roll out of the ring and walk away.
MDE: You’re early. JB: I had things I wanted to work on. MDE: I’m glad to hear it. You made the right decision. Orton wasn’t- JB: Stop. Don’t. I called the match the way it had to be called. And now I’m choosing to keep training with you. I’m choosing it because it’s what’s best for me to get where I want to go. But I won’t be a puppet. I won’t be there for you to play with and... how did you put it... bend to your will? You’re here to help me gameplan and get better as a wrestler. But you’re also here because you said you lack the spark to be the best and want to help someone who does have it. You need me as much as I need you. So here’s the plan: a business partnership- a proper fifty-fifty partnership- between us. You help me to be the best wrestler I can be and I give you a purpose again. Deal?
MDE looks at Jerry and then steps up into the ring.
MDE: Ok. But by truly partnering with me you’re going to get a lot of questions and accusation from fans and... others. If this is a proper partnership now you need to accept that and be willing to carry on even with that criticism. It won’t be how it used to be for you. JB: Good. How it used to be got me nowhere. I won’t be MDE Mark Two. That’s not me. But I won’t be The Jester. It’s time to move on. You’re the one who can help me to do that so you’re the one I want to work with. MDE: And you’re happy to work with me? This is a partnership you really want even after... everything. JB: Happy? Maybe not entirely. But to make an omelette you’ve got to break some eggs. There’s no one else who will get me to where I want to be, not Bobby, not Che or Matt, wherever they are, not... anyone. MDE: No one? JB: No. No one. MDE: Okay then.
Jerry extends a hand and MDE shakes it, the two of them looking each other in the eyes as they shake.
MDE: Let’s get to work. We can both get some real training in today.
Jerry nods as the trainees slowly come back towards the ring.

The following video appears on freedomprowrestling.com.
Jim Houston sits up in a hospital bed, a bandage round his head and a slightly faraway look in his eye.
“This goes against the advice that I’ve been given but I really don’t care. It’s about time that what happened at Dead Man’s Chest was addressed and the next steps for FPW were made clear. It seems like Jack Sevren and the rest of TakeOver 2.0 are just as bad, maybe even worse, than the original. I must hand it to them... that plan was clever. Wait until the end of the title match and take out whoever wins then post guards on the door with them incapacitated and wait to cash in the Dead Man’s Chest and win the belt. Well that didn’t happen. For once it seems like I, and the rest of us who enjoy FPW, owe Marcus Allen Jones our thanks. I’m told that what he did at the end of the Dead Man’s Chest match was quite the heroic act of self-sacrifice.
“I say I’m told because I didn’t actually see it. Oh no. As soon as I was made aware of the actions taken against our FPW Champion, I made a beeline straight for him, at which time I was assaulted by The Invaders, who I believe rammed my head into the wall- I barely remember a thing- and gave me a concussion. Now I’d happily fire Haych, Dario and the entire TakeOver faction right now, but I’m not the only decision-maker in FPW. I’m only the face of a board of investors who control what happens here and it seems as though the majority decision was to hold tight and see where this goes. It seems like there are some who believe this to be potentially driving people towards FPW.
“But if we’re to see where this goes, we must first evaluate where we are. While there are many dangling threads that I’d love to address, it seems as though one of them is far more urgent than others. As of right now, the FPW Championship is in my possession and the man who many believe to be our champion has disappeared from the face of the Earth. It seems clear to me that Davey Jones somehow managed to recover for long enough to get past The Invaders and take himself out of the building, but in leaving the FPW Championship behind he also seems to have chosen to vacate the belt, perhaps due to the injuries suffered in such a horrific attack. And where does that leave us? I see several options available to us.
“Option 1. We have a Free-1 winner who holds a guaranteed title match at Judgement Day II. Why not award the man who seems to be the number one contender the belt right now and find an opponent for Judgement Day II? The reasons why not are simple. Jace Mason won’t accept being awarded anything, he may not hold that title shot for too long and besides, he has a contract for a match against the FPW Champion in the main event at Judgement Day so I intend to stick by that contract, unless of course he wins the title before then or loses the rights to the match to Aaron Williams, or anybody else who chooses to challenge him.
“Option 2. I find two worthy contenders and they have a match at Uncensored for the FPW Championship. But where do I find them? Do I look at former champions like Graham Baker and Marcus Allen Jones? Do I turn to those who have thrown their hat in the ring like MDE, Takahara and Tchyukiro or Aaron Williams? Do I look at those who performed well in the Free-1 like Jerry Bishop and Botiatus? There are too many contenders to simply have a one on one match with no complaints from those who were left out.
“Option 3. We recently crowned a Dead Man’s Chest winner. Artemis Evans could, in theory, claim her title match now and, again in theory, simply take the belt. But I’m advised that that’s not a possibility given the wording of the contract.
“Which brings me to Option 4. How to find a new champion when there are so many worthy, and yet also flawed, contenders? The answer, my friends, is simple. In just thirteen days at Road to Uncensored, after the second Tag Team Number One Contender Gauntlet Series match, thirty of FPW’s finest will step into the ring over the course of at least one hour in the first ever Freedom Pro Wrestling Royal Rumble match. Two competitors begin the match and, every two minutes, a new competitor enters until all thirty have entered the ring. Eliminations can occur at any time via pinfall, submission or being thrown over the top rope. When there is just one left standing, they will be crowned the fifth Freedom Pro Wrestling Champion.
“All entrants will remain unannounced until they have entered the match. Anybody who wishes to enter should contact me directly. After the match, I will reveal the full card for Uncensored. Despite the unfortunate circumstances with which this match has come about, I’m sure you’ll agree it is automatically one of the biggest in Freedom Pro Wrestling history. Until next Sunday, I bid you farewell.”
Houston smiles into the camera before it shuts off.

We enter on a laughing Graham Baker, his ALPHA Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship still slung on his shoulder as he looks to compose himself. He holds his head, tapping the wall repeatedly as he chuckles before he looks back to the camera.
What is this? Some kind of a fucking joke?
He chuckles, and shakes his head again.
Nah, it can't be. Jokes are never as funny as this is.
Baker holds a finger up as if asking the audience to give him a moment before he speaks, before he begins going.
I bust my ass, burn myself out and injure myself working for this company as the best champion in its short history for two hundred and ten days. I'm so good, in fact, that I'm taking the belt everywhere but here and defending it because all the people on this roster are too scared to call me out, apparently. I gave all I fucking could, I accepted the challenge set out by Houston to take on whoever won that battle royale, and, fearless, I went into two matches with Davey Jones. In the second, I pinned him. Clean. I beat him clean as a whistle, but because, for some unknown fucking reason, we let Mister Sevren hang out at ringside and probably pull his goddamn foot through the ropes, Jones wasn't beaten and I wasn't champ again.
Now, Davey Jones has vanished when the company needed him, he's left the company on its own to struggle, and he's taken the fucking reputation of that belt out the door with him. Sullying the company, sullying the people who've worked to build it up to where it was, but, most important of all, sullying the work I've done. Jones better not show his stupid fucking face around here, because I'll be the first to show him to the door, and if he fights back, I'll show him to the fucking emergency room or the fucking grave. That's a promise.
But onto the most important point of my whole little argument here-I should be awarded my Freedom Pro Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship back, not have to contend for it in a fucking Battle Royale. Let me be completely clear and transparent here when I say that that belt belongs to me, because none of you fucking shitheads in this company deserve to sully it with your hands like it has been for the last two months. But, if Houston won't give me my property back without a fight, then I'm going to go into that rumble, and it doesn't matter if I have to run through ten, twenty, thirty, or even a hundred of you dickheads. I'm getting my championship back, and I'm not letting it go.
That's my shot, I'm calling it. You motherfuckers just try to keep up.

*Camera comes up on Jerry Bishop in the ring at a local gym grappling with an opponent. A number of other wrestlers are lined along the apron, while several more are seated on a bench watching the proceedings. MDE stands at a corner observing. Bishop throws his opponent over the top rope, who then sits on a bench next to the others. MDE motions to another wrestler on the apron to enter and lock up. After a few minutes, Bishop eliminates them as well. He works his way through all of his sparring opponents and MDE applauds as Bishop eliminates his final challenger.*
MDE: Good, very good in fact. We’ve always known endurance is your strong suit. But with Houston’s ludicrous “rumble” match coming up we need you to be at your most grounded and focused as well. You never know who’s coming down that ramp next.
*Bishop walks to his corner and MDE gives him a water bottle. Bishop takes a long drink before handing the bottle back to MDE.*
JB: Run them again.
MDE: Again?
JB: And change the sequence this time.
MDE: But you’ve already eliminated them all.
JB: And I know I can do it faster. The quicker I can get rid of them the quicker I can move on to the next one. Run them again. And in a different order this time, you said yourself you never know who’s coming next.
MDE: They still enter the match at the same intervals, though.
JB: Run. Them. Again.
*MDE smiles at his pupil*
MDE: Glad to see you’re finally taking things seriously, Jerry.
JB: As if I had a choice?
*MDE’s smile decreases slightly. He tells the trainees to get back on the apron and orders one into the ring first. Bishop almost immediately eliminates them as another enters and locks up before the camera fades*

Cameras come up on two halves of a torn cloth mask, the great equalizer sat in between them. A hand reaches down and picks up one half of the mask, carefully running his fingers across it. As the camera continues to zoom out, we see Bobby as the one holding the mask as he lays on the ground leant up against a row of lockers. He bangs his head against the metal a few times, mouthing, "I fucked up."
Bobby looks up, addressing the camera directly.
BO: I'm sorry I had to do that. I guess I didn't have to do it. But I'm sorry I did. It's just, you surprised me. You drove me to a place I never thought I'd have to guard myself against. At least, not from you. But you're not really you anymore are you? If you were, things never would have gone down that way. I never would have had to rip this, something I still cherish for what it meant. What I know one day it will mean again...
Bobby bangs his head against the lockers again.
BO: If only they'd have listened to me. Every one of them. I knew that if I brought the Friendmigos back, I'd bring you back with them. But you were too far gone weren't you? That match, it was always a losing battle for me wasn't it? I just didn't know it. I refused to believe it. I still do. That's not the guy I fought alongside in the trenches. But maybe that guy has been long gone...
Bobby grips the half of the mask in his hand as he stands up and paces the room a bit.
BO: No. I refuse to believe that you sold your soul to the devil. I didn't fail at Dead Man's Chest. Not on this. Not with the stakes so high. I know you'll come back. You just need time. And the kick to the head. I mean, ya fucked me up good but we're even now, right? I hit you with the pipe, you clocked me with a superkick...Although, when I did it, I was doing it for you. When you did it, it felt like you were doing it for him. But I'm not mad because you were just making things even. And they are now. They're even. So you don't have to go back to him. You and I, we're good, honest.
Bobby pauses as the glint of the pipe catches his eye. He leans down and picks it up, once again holding both the pipe and the mask side by side. He sighs heavily.
BO: I really thought this symbolized my past and present. But I can't seem to escape my past, can I? I don't even know anymore. Maybe it's always going to be a part of me just like your past is always going to be a part of you... I know I got angry at how you called the match but you saw me, didn't you? You saw me try to subvert the rules, to do exactly what I was fighting against having you do. And you let it go. I know the real you is still in there and while you didn't let me fight to save that guy, I'm not going to stop. Because, maybe this is more about me than I let on. And if I failed here, with you, what do I have left? A broken promise and a way too easy path to my darkest impulses.
Bobby looks at both the torn mask and the pipe again, letting the mask fall to the ground as he runs his fingers across the weapon.
BO: So much of who I am, is here. They had a point. This feels natural. This feels normal. But you and I made each other a promise. It's too easy to go back. But what do I have left? You're moving forward. And I'm just hoping a piece of you is still there. Because if it's not, where is the hope that a guy like me can get things right? You were the best of us. You were...
Suddenly, almost at the drop of a hat, Bobby wears a vicious grin as he continues caressing the pipe.
BO: This was never about you. It was never about the guy you call your mentor. I should have just won the match. I should have been the one in the Free-1. I wouldn't have needed to corner you, wouldn't have felt so compelled to save you. And none of any of that happens if I had just been smart. I should have seen the snake in the grass but I didn't then and I didn't now. And here we are. A hostile takeover that...
Just like that, Bobby gets an idea. He drops the pipe and picks up both mask halves.
BO: Only I can stop...I couldn't save you but I'll save the rest. Its what you would want me to do. Its what the Friendmigos would want me to do.
Bobby again picks up the pipe and points it, seemingly calling his shot.
BO: One by one, they'll all fall down.
Bobby chuckles dryly as the camera fades to black.

A video comes into focus to show Danica Jane holding the Freedom Championship belt over her shoulder.
DJ: if I have learned anything in life, whether it was sports or business, it was to make your mark, to make a meaningful, tangible impact. In my third match ever, it's going to be for the Freedom Championship. Now possession is nine tenths of the law, but at Uncensored, the Freedom Championship will officially be coming home with me. In the meantime though.....Lizzie, if you want this (*holds up belt*)....come and get it.

FPW.com Exclusive
About 15 minutes after the show goes off the air, Dasha Banks arrives in the trailer's area. Her and Ted exchange a glance as they notice about half of the FPW roster laid up having injuries checked on from the grueling Dead Man's Chest match and the other casualties from TakeOver's brutal attack. It looks like a war zone.
Dasha offers a sympathetic smile as she passes Berry who nods in return. Ted puts his hand on Dasha's shoulder as she regains her composure. Taking a deep breath, Dasha follows Ted to the back of the room where Marcus is in an ice bath, trying to soothe the numerous nagging injuries that were aggravated in the DMC match. He notices Dasha and signals he'll be ready in a few moments.
A few moments later, Marcus sits gingerly on one of the medical tables as Ted and Dasha set up for the interview.
DB: First off Marcus, thanks for taking the time to do this. I know fresh off the hellacious DMC match, this isn't the best time, but we really want to talk about the match and about what happenend out there.
Marcus nods.
MAJ: Well, what happened was exactly what everybody saw out there. I lost. I lost in spectacular fashion really. Nearly avoided third degree burns on top of everything else so yeah, that worked out. But ultimately, I came into that match to win and I didn't do it. And I've been not doing things a lot lately. Ever since I left TakeOver...I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't regret it. I just regret letting those four loose on the world and all of the damage they've, that I caused, and that they continue to perpetrate.
DB: You mention your goal to win but you also told everyone prior to the match that you had a secondary goal. To stop Jack Sevren from winning at all costs. And while we can't know what the outcome may have been, judging from what happened out there, that could have very well been the case had you not risked life and limb the way you did.
MAJ: I wanted to win. First and foremost. But you're right. If I couldn't win I was going to make damn sure he didn't either. One TakeOver champion for this place was bad enough. And Jack, he reacts on emotion. I made my plans of logic. I'm not above saying his TakeOver is a more dangerous, more unpredictable unit as a result. At the end of the day though, I still know these guys better than anyone else. I know what they are capable of and when word got around that they had the champ locked up and battered, I was even more sure that I had to stop Jack from winning the DMC.
DB: You did just that. Some might even say to the detriment of your own chances as you could have--
MAJ: I couldn't have. I hate to admit it but I was physically spent. Like completely out of energy. Going after Jack, that was the one last burst I had. Not enough to work myself back up that ladder but enough to ensure he didn't either.
DB: And the fans clearly applauded that effort. Fans who over the last several months have started to chant your name with pride not venom as was the case when you first started here. Tell me, does any of that play into your mindset these days?
Marcus shifts uncomfortably both by the question and the pain from the match.
MAJ: I guess I don't really know how to answer that. Have I noticed the change? Yeah, I think I'd be lying if I said I didn't. But has it affected how I go out there, my objectives, my goals, my gameplan? I don't know. I don't think it has. Because, and this will probably sound like the old Marcus for a second, but what I do, I don't do for them. I don't do for you or the people watching at home or the guys and gals in the back. Having their support, it's nice, I guess, but I've not really thought much of it. I guess, I guess I just realized that after a year of searching for adulation and admiration and thinking being the very best would get me there...I guess after all that, I stopped caring what others thought of me. If they want to cheer me, great. If they want to boo me, it's their prerogative. I get there would be no FPW without the fans but I'm not out there to cowtail to their opinions. I'm just out there to wrestle and do what I think is right.
Dasha nods.
DB: You used to think what was right was winning no matter the cost, which seems to be something Sevren has espoused in TakeOver 2.0. Is that why you've seemingly made it your mission to take them down?
MAJ: In a way, yeah I guess it is. The winning whatever way it takes mentality has started to taint the good guys around here and that's bad enough. But to have that mentality among someone who has built his career being a total sleazeball, who has never done things the right way? Yeah, it's a problem. A problem I created. And it's this whole thing of, it's my responsibility to put it down because the rise of TakeOver, it wouldn't have infected the wrestling industry like the plague if not for me. I've already given ROH, CZW, FPW and anywhere else the list of my recruits. They know who to watch out for now. But step two is getting FPW rid of TakeOver. And I have to be the one to do it. Not because I'm a hero or anything. I'm not a hero. Starting to think this promotion doesn't have heroes anymore. Because for one reason or another, we've all got our own motivations. I'm not doing this because I'm some kind of saint. Clearly I'm not. I'm doing it because I made the mess so I've got to clean it up. And selfishly, that mess is causing me some big problems so yeah, riding FPW of TakeOver isn't exactly some kind of noble cause.
DB: One last question Marcus. Let's talk about Graham Baker.
Dasha pauses as the slightest smirk forms on Marcus' face.
DB: The last time you two really went at it was, as it would turn out, the match where you started to turn things around. It would seem he started to turn things around in that match too. He beat you for the title and again in the rematch. So tell us, after your interaction in the DMC, are you anticipating a third and final showdown on the horizon?
MAJ: Really asking the tough questions today, huh. Alright, so here it goes. Graham Baker. Hell of a wrestler. For all the crap I gave him about garbage wrestling, hes more than that. So much more. There aren't many guys around here who have a winning record against me. He's one of them. But you know that thing I said about the good guys starting to change their mentality. Graham Baker was one of the good guys. Now? I mean, he tried to put me through a flaming table so I don't really know what you expect me to say. The guy is a wildcard and a dangerous one at that ever since he lost the belt that seemed to define him here. And I know what that's like because when I lost the title, I had a singular focus. He's definitely the same right now. But Baker's not my problem. Yeah, theres something electric about getting in the ring with him and should another opportunity arise, I'm confident the outcome will be different this time. But it's not a match I'm actively seeking out. Baker's not at the top of my priority list and he kinda said it best, I'm not on his either. As long as we stay out of each other's way, he won't have a problem with me. I won't have a problem with him. And right now, the guy he is, I'm more than happy to stay out of his way. Going through a flaming table isn't high on my list...
Dasha half smiles.
DB: Thanks for your time Marcus.
MAJ: Anytime. Now if you'll excuse me, that life and limb act you were talking about, really took its toll.
