Davey is seen, not in ring attire, but in a business suit. He is seen leaving his dressing room, and is almost immediately met by Ted Crewmember
TC: Davey, can I - DJ: Not now, Ted.
Davey bumps past Ted, but Ted isn't quick to give up
TC: Davey, I just -- DJ (annoyed, picks up Ted by his shirt): What part of NOT RIGHT NOW does your maggot brain NOT COMPREHEND? I need to do something, and I don't have a lot of time. If I miss my chance because of you... You will have hell to pay.
Davey dumps Ted into a stack cardboard boxes, before continuing on. He walks past a few doors, before seeing the one he wants - Clutch McCloud - and knocks
CM (though the door): Who's there? DJ: It's Davey. I would like to attain Mr. Crowley's services, if I can. I'm sure you've been following my issues with Houston, following everything leading up to the tournament.
After a moment, Clutch opens the door.
CM: Hey Jonesy. Yeah I've been following that. Pretty unfortunate. But Crowley wanted me to tell you he's willing to help out. And uh...I'm willing to put aside our differences in the meantime.
Clutch extends his hand, to which Davey accepts. After a firm, hearty handshake, both smile before releasing.
DJ: Thank you, Clutch. You know... I expected more... Resistance, from you. I appreciate Mr. Crowley's willingness to help in this matter.
Davey leaves, but doesn't go back to his locker room. Instead, he goes to Jack Sevren's locker room, and knocks
DJ: It's me. Is it set up? JS: I talked to him. DJ: Good.
Davey walks away, bypassing a table of Slim Jims

Aaron Williams limps back through the curtain after his match with Berry Bishop. He walks over to the camera.
“Well done, Berry. You’re a great wrestler with huge potential and you beat me fair and square. I’m able to admit when someone out-wrestled me and you did that tonight. I’d love to face you one more time in the future. Just like I said about Jace, you’ve got a big future ahead of you and I’m glad I could be a small part of your story. But that was tonight. In two days’ time I face Marcus Allen Jones. I know all of A Block is tied up on two points right now so I haven’t exactly fallen behind, but I consider this a must-win match. Why? Well, Marcus reminds me a little bit of a young man I used to know very well- me. When I was his age I was wrestling in the kind of places he wrestles in and I’m not ashamed to say that I had a little of his arrogance about me. But I needed someone to come along and show me how far I still had to go. Marcus still has a way to go and I want to be the person who shows him that. But that’s by the by. The real reason I need to win is very simple: I want to win the Free-1. Another loss and I’m starting to have to think about tie-breakers and match time and all of that stuff that takes my mind off the simple job of winning matches. A win tomorrow and I sit alone on top of the block. A loss and I remain rooted to the bottom with more minutes wrestled than anyone else and two people with head-to-head tie-breakers ahead of me. So this match really is very simple. I plan to win... or otherwise to do myself serious damage trying. Marcus, bring your best, because you’re getting the very best of Aaron Williams.”
Williams limps away from the camera.

A video is uploaded to the FPW website, showing Artemis Evans entering the building for her Free-1 match against Graham Baker.
"Alright, everyone better be listening very closely to what I'm about to say, because you're not going to get many chances to hear me say it again. I was...mistaken about something. About a month ago, I claimed that after he'd lost his title, I no longer had any interest in my match against Graham Baker. But in the meantime, I've been proven wrong. Despite losing his title, everyone still thinks of him as the best wrestler in FPW. They still think of him as, to use his phrase 'the Ace' here in FPW. And that has renewed my interest in this match. And that's because I know that I'm the best wrestler in FPW. And I'm very much looking forward to proving that tomorrow by beating down Baker and advancing to the top of the block. And since he believes his hype more than anyone, I won't just be breaking his body, I'll be breaking his spirit. And that makes my inevitable victory that much sweeter. Graham, you call yourself the Ace of FPW? Well this is a new age, and FPW doesn't need an Ace anymore. What FPW needs now is a Monarch."
And with that, she walked past the cameraman and towards the women's locker room.

Graham Baker stumbles backstage, his two championships slotted on his shoulder as he nearly collapses into a chair at one of FPW's post-event pressers. He's seconded by Elizabeth Karlson, who helps Baker to the chair and holds his two championships before leaning in close and talking to him.
EK: Make it quick, you're-
GB: Yeah, I know I am.
Baker rubs his neck and begins to speak.
"Artemis Evans, last night you claimed that FPW needed a monarch, that the era of the Ace was over, you claimed so many things that so many different people have tried to claim, and yet, despite a good game plan, despite a strong strategy, despite a focused offense that left my neck feeling like I'd slept on a fuckin' boulder for five days straight, you still couldn't put me away and get the fucking job done. Liz took your belt from you, and you wanted a shot at one of mine-I get it, I understand it, trust me, but it just ain't happening this time around. You gave a good fight, and I was at a hundred percent-can't fault you for the effort.
You came into the ring, and I told you, from the start, that you were fucked. You stood between me and my fucking destiny, reclaiming my fucking tournament win a second year running. I had a rough start, I lost my last three singles matches, but guess what, Arty, I beat you, and now I'm going to beat everyone fucking else and win the Free-1 a second year in a fucking row. Davey Jones, he had me the first two times, but after I win this tournament a second time, after I claim my second championship match, Jones won't have me a third time, and I guarantee you, the only time there'll be a fourth is if he earns his fucking title match.
For now, I've gotta run. Ice my neck and all, you know how it goes."
Baker gets back to his feet, grabbing his championships and limping off. A camera catches Karlson helping him move on as the two exit the hall, and head out into the night...

Danica Jane is in her office.
*phone rings*
DJ: CSRE, this is Danica. *pauses* No Dasha, Clutch isn't available for comment at the moment. Today's a personal day for him. *conversation ends*
*Cemetary in an undisclosed location*
Clutch is standing in front of a headstone. Nothing can be seen on it. After a few moments, Clutch takes a breath. Happy birthday old man. Drop me a card from Hell, let me know if it's hot enough. *Clutch spits on the grave site and walks away*
Upon the headstone it can be seen "Steven P. McCloud, Sr. August 8, 1965-January 18, 2012"

*Camera comes up on Berry Bishop working a heavy-bag with strikes and kicks in the FPW training gym, Ted Crewmember is behind the camera*
TC: Hey, Berry-
BB: Teddy Boy! How are you?
TC: I’m doing pretty good, just wanted to congratulate you on your win.
BB: Thank you! Aaron’s a tough opponent, and since he’s said he wants to face me again, I think we could make that happen to give the Freedom Fighters somethin’ to talk about, just like that song that was on 90’s radio for ages says.
TC: ...right... Anyway. You’re one and one so far in the Free-1, how are you feeling heading into your next match?
BB: As confident as I can be! I know I get picked on and made fun of for being an optimist, but I believe even when I lose, I leave the match no worse than I entered into it. It’s the same thing as the Monty Hall Problem, even if you lose you’re no worse off than when you started, and when you win, it’s even better!
TC: Is that the one with the doors and the car and the goats?
BB: Exactly! I always try and find the car when I head into a match, but if I get a goat, then I only lost a car I never had to begin with!
TC: Berry, I’ve gotta be honest, you Bishops always find the weirdest analogies.
BB: Teddy, we take pride in keeping things interesting!
TC: Uh huh. Berry, I like you, I have history with your brother, but the two of you using metaphors confuses me, so could you please for my sake speak clearly?
BB: Right, sorry. I lost my first match against Lizzie. Submissions have been a weak point for me for a while, it is known.
TC: *vacantly* It is known. Wait, what...
BB: When I went up against Aaron, I felt I needed to fight that little bit harder. So when I did win, it was out of sheer effort and sportsmanship. Not that Lizzie fought dirty, she just new how to play her skills against mine. Like I did against Aaron. So as I head into my next match, my focus is on finding my way to victory, fair and clean, while still giving the Freedom Fighters a great show.
TC: Well, while I don’t think I’ll ever understand how either of you work, I wish you the best, Berry.
BB: Thanks, Teddy! And tell Dashy that I say hi. And Jerry, too. He didn’t specifically say it, but I know he would.
TC: Yeah... Yeah, I’ll do that.
*Camera fades out as Berry continues to work the heavy-bag.*

*Camera comes up on Jerry Bishop. The camera in this instance happens to be a cell phone turned inward. Jerry sips on a hard cider and looks down the camera with a smirk.*
JB: So, my next opponent is the great and powerful Boz! No, wait, the Netflix original Bojack Horseman! Wait, wait, don’t tell me, it’s that smug little upstart who somehow found me at the gym I specifically left town to train at. And you beat me. You beat me fair and square, but I also wasn’t ready for you.
*Bishop rubs his chin a little and looks away from the camera*
JB: Now while I do pride myself on being the Wild Card of FPW, being the one guy no one can ever plan against, there was one thing you had to your advantage. You faced me off my home turf.
*Bishop turns back into the camera*
JB: So now, Butterfly Angeles, you and I finally get to square off inside FPW’s squared circle.
*Bishop takes another sip and wipes his lips*
JB: Now, I will say that I appreciate your respect for the rules. We may not necessarily agree on what those rules are, but since we both seem to agree that outside interference is fighting dirty, then I’m really looking forward to our match this weekend, BoShutterfly. I’ve got my good friend Bobby... and the Malignant Limey... in my corner. So I hope for your sake, they can keep things as fair as we do.
*Bishop polishes off his drink*
JB: Remember, Fluttershy, you may have your “house rules”, but you’re facing me in the house that Jerry Bishop built. And when it comes to stealing the show in an FPW arena, nobody does it better.
*Bishop tosses his drink over his shoulder and cuts his lips into the Chelsea Smile with his free hand before cutting the feed*

With chants of "Aaron Williams" ringing out through the arena, Marcus frustratingly makes his way back behind the curtain where Dasha and Ted are waiting. Dasha looks at Marcus but he just shakes his head.
DB: Marcus, if we could just have a word. That was an incredible match and everyone wants to know--
Dasha stops as Marcus looks back at her with a different look than she's ever seen from him before. He looks lost, like he's not really sure of anything. He begs her off from an interview and Dasha just nods while offering him a sympathetic smile. Ted however, follows Marcus as he makes his way through the hall.
Suddenly and without warning he stops, noticing an FPW employee writing on a whiteboard with the words "Free-1 Standings" at the top. Marcus watches as his name is erased from the second spot but before the employee can continue, Marcus grabs the marker.
MAJ: Let me.
Marcus writes his name in the sixth and final spot before staring at it for several moments. He hands the marker back to the employee who finishes updating the chart, moving Aaron Williams to the top. Marcus just watches on until he feels a hand on his shoulder.
Dario: Last huh? And with just two points. Far cry from winning this whole thing like ya said ya would. So tell me boss, how's that whole, "winning the right way" working out for ya because as far as I can see, all you're doing is losing. But hey, look on the bright side, at least you're doing it, "the right way."
Dario laughs as Marcus begins to fume. He remembers what Aaron Williams said to him about not needing TakeOver. About almost beating him. He starts to walk away without acknowledging Dario but the Invader won't let it be that easy.
D: We all heard what Williams whispered to you. You almost had him. You don't need us because you almost got the win. Interesting because here I thought close only counted in horseshoes and hand grenades and certainly not in the Free-1. But sure, if close is what you want, keep at it. Personally, close ain't good enough for me. Close ain't gonna win this thing. But hey, it will be a nice consolation prize for you I suppose, knowing you proved...Actually, the only thing you're proving is you need us more than we ever needed you.
Dario chuckles and Marcus finally whips around to face him.
D: You've gone soft out there boss. I saw you in the ring. Since when did having fun replace your desire to win? It's the Free-1 and you're not good enough to get it done. So stop pretending you can out grapple Saturn and out maneuver Williams. Hell, I don't even think you can beat the Bishop girl and you sure as hell got lucky against the other bitch. Marcus, we've got your back. Just say the word and we'll help you put those losses behind you. You lost twice in the whole Free-1 last year and already have two losses here. You need us to get to the finals. Stop being stubborn and admit it.
Marcus stands his ground and looks ready to say something to Dario. He opens his mouth but nothing comes out. Instead he just stares at Dario for a few moments before walking away leaving Dario satisfied. He calls after him.
D: You can't deny the inevitability Marcus. TakeOver will rise again. It's your choice if you want to be on the right or wrong side of history. But you'll have to choose soon or your dreams of winning the Free-1 will be over.
Marcus keeps walking, never turning around as he flashes Dario the middle finger. Dario laughs as it's clear he continues to get under Marcus' skin. As Marcus heads out of shot, cameras pick up on a loud sound of a crash. The camera moves to where Marcus was and where a pile of knocked over boxes and carts stands in his place. The shot flashes back to Dario who just gives a fake watch signal and taps it, indicating "tick tock."
Dario then shoves Ted to the ground and walks away.

A video is posted on Instagram @house.Of.Bo. Just hours before his match Bo is in his locker room with all his gear laid out on a table that he's sitting on
"Tonight could very well determine the winner of this block. This is what I came here for. I got distracted for a while but as you've seen my focus is exactly where it needs to be now. Which is more than I can say for my opponent.
Jerry seems to be finding himself right now. He also seems to catch a bad case of friendly Tourette's when it comes to my name by that's beside the point. I would've preferred to face you alone but if you need your angel and demon on your shoulder's to feel confident then fine. But if they move any muscles other than their mouths, I won't hesitate to turn out their lights courtesy of a House Call"
Bo hops off the table and the camera zooms in on his upper half and his demeanor gets more serious
"I said it before and I wasn't lying, I like you Jerry. But if you think you can be coached by those two to a win over me you're gonna be staring up at those lights from your back before you even have the chance to break a sweat. You wanna beat me you're gonna have to figure out how to do it on your own"
Bo flashes a smile and his demeanor lightens
"Tonight the H.O.B. (Bo points at himself as he booms each letter) takes up residence in the house that Jer-rry Bis-hop built. At the end of the night we'll know just who's house it really is"

DJ: Jerry Bishop. Current leader of the B block. Perfect 3 for 3 with 6 points, in fact. You know what you needed, Jerry? NOT MDE. Not Bobby O. No. They are only in it for themselves. They WILL stab you in the back when they feel it right to. No, what you needed was the match that WE had. That was your final loss. Even then, you damn near beat the time limit. That match PROVED you belong in the free-1. Not at my expense, mind you, but you belong in there. And now, three matches after ours, you have three victories. Don't say I didn't warn you, but it would be a damn shame, Jerry, to see you lose the block because they cost you the matches...

Bo walks through the curtains after his loss to Jerry. Bobby comes up to him to offer a few more words but Bo quickly cuts him off
"Cut the shit Bobby. Yeah that was a good strategy that Jerry had out there. And that was a damn nice move he pulled off to beat me. But you can't play nice and think that makes up for that asshole MDE. You think you're the good guy in all of this don't you? You pretend to be upset whenever MDE interferes in a match but Jerry gets the win so it's no big deal right?"
Bo walks away cradling his arm as Bobby is clearly taking in his words

A group of reporters is waiting outside the FPW arena as Jace Mason pulls up. The cameras catch him stepping out of his car, a gym bag slung over his shoulder, and as he approached the entrance, they began to ask questions.
"Jace, we haven't heard anything from you since your match last Saturday against James Saturn," the first reporter asked. "What prompted this absence?"
"Well, I'm not ashamed to say that I took a couple days off. James and I had the shortest gap between our first and second matches, and after two hard matches against two very skilled opponents, I was practically dead on my feet. And unlike other promotions who run similar tournaments, FPW is kind enough to not book us in matches between the block matches. But I only rested for the first two days; after that, it was back to the gym, back to preparation. Two matches are complete, but there's still three to go. And there's going to be no more rests for me, from here on out, I'l be here every night, even if I don't have a match."
Another reporter chimed in, "What are your thoughts headed into Tuesday's match against Berry Bishop?"
"Berry and I put on an epic clash the last time we shared the ring, and I'm looking forward to doing it again. But I also feel like it's a must-win match for me. That's a problem with having such an even field, you take one loss, and suddenly you're behind everyone else. That's the situation that James and Marcus find themselves in, and unfortunately, it's the fate I'm going to condemn Berry to in order to keep my Free-1 chances alive."
The second reporter opened his mouth to ask another question, but was cut off by the third reporter. "Jace, in your past encounters with Berry Bishop, in both the All-Star Tag Team Classic and the Freedom Championship match, it seems that she has your number somewhat. How are you planning to ensure Tuesday's match goes any differently?"
"There's no somewhat about it," Jace laughed. "Berry has been my kryptonite over these past few months. But they don't call me the eternal student for nothing, I've been using this week away from FPW to study. I watched our previous two matches to highlight the kinds of mistakes I'd made, as well as watching what worked for her during those matches so that I could come up with a way to counter it. And I've watched several of her other matches to help with this study, see if I can identify any sort of weakness. Berry, if you're listening, I may not have been ready at the All-Star Tag Team Classic, and I may not have been ready at the Road to Free-1, but mark my words, on Tuesday, I'll be ready for you."
And with that, he stepped away from the reporters and into the arena.

We enter on Graham Baker training backstage at the Freedom Pro Dojo, throwing a few Young Lions around with vicious strength and talented grapples. Baker enters into a struggle with one large Young Lion who almost manages to get him down for the count, but Baker transitions to an Emergency Landing and pulls out the victory after tapping the man. He rolls to his feet, drenched in sweat, and looks toward the entrance to find both Kate Mustang and his opponent for his next Free-1 Match, Go Shihei, standing just inches away. Baker sighs and climbs to the ropes, looking down at both of them. Before he can get a word out, Mustang speaks.
"You really haven't lost a step, have you, love?" Mustang chuckles, shaking her head. "That big ol' bastard almost had you down and out, but here comes Graham Baker with his bag of tricks to rip a man down and then nearly tear his goddamn arm from his body."
Baker cracks his neck and sighs, crouching down to his knees. "Kate, I'm not an idiot anymore. I know you're here for a reason...so let's cut to the chase. You here to scout me, beat the shit out of me, or falsely offer me good luck for tomorrow before you try to fuck me over?"
Mustang looks offended, and she looks to Shihei as she puts a hand over her mouth. "Why Graham, you know I wouldn't dare do anything like that to someone like you, someone I care for so deeply. I simply came to offer you a deal for tomorrow, you know, seeing as you find yourself in dire straits in the Free-1 as of yet. You're a safe two matches behind Jerry Bishop, the man who you conquered last year and claimed you would conquer again..." Baker's lips purse at this, and Mustang pretends not to notice as she continues speaking. "...so I came to make an offer to you."
Baker's ears perk up, and his eyes narrow. "I'm listening."
Mustang cracks a smile, and looks to Shihei. "Shihei doesn't much care for winning the Free-1, seeing as his best efforts to do so have been thwarted by rampant cheating on the parts of Jerry Bishop, your ol' sparring pal MDE, and Artemis Evans. He knows his prospects are limited, so we came to terms-Go Shihei will lay down for you, and, to the best of his ability as a behemoth of muscle and flesh, he'll play spoiler and make sure anyone who may have had a chance to overcome you later on in the tournament no longer has that opportunity once he's done with you. How does that sound, Graham-fair's fair, right? We're all playing on the same side here."
Baker looks to pantomime thinking for a moment before he shakes his head. "Absolutely not. I'm winning this tournament on my own merit, clean, just like I did last year." He begins to walk off, but Mustang chuckles in response.
"Just like last year, Graham? Just like you beat Botiatus this year? Oh wait...you didn't, did you? The only person you've beaten recently is a woman after losing your title and losing your only chance to get it back without running this gauntlet. If you're not going to lay down for Shihei, that's fine by us...but, I'd urge you to reconsider such a flaw in your judgment."
Baker turns around to respond to Mustang, but both she and Shihei walk out, Shihei shooting Baker one last glance as he leaves the gym-and Baker-in silence...
