Jim Houston sits in his office, just as he did during the show.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I have a few short announcements that I wish to make in addition to my remarks earlier tonight. I wish to confirm each of the Free-1 qualification matches that I announced, and I also wish to add that Marcus Allen Jones versus Henry Harrison will indeed take place as a qualification match on the second 'Road to Free-1' show.
"I also wish to announce that, on each of the 'Road To Free-1' shows, there will be a title defended. On the first show, as I have already announced, Jace Mason will put the Freedom Title on the line against Berry Bishop. On the third show, I wish to give The a Guardians of Strong Style their rematch against Death Squad. On the second show, seeing as we're not going to have onemfor such a long time due to the Free-1, I wish to see Graham Baker defend his FPW Championship. But who does he face? Well, on the first 'Road to Free-1' show, there will be a battle royal, featuring anybody who declares themselves as an entrant, including anybody who already has a match that night, and the winner will face Graham Baker with the FPW Championship on the line.
"I believe that's all I need to say for now. The first 'Road to Free-1' show takes place two weeks from today. I hope we see a lot of people vying for the right to face Baker. And oh by the way- Marcus. You lost the Hell in a Cell match, meaning you don't get another shot at the FPW Championship while Baker remains champion. Therefore, you are ineligible for the battle royal.
"Thank you all for your time."

"Bully" plays. Footage plays of a schoolyard, where a group of boys are bullying another boy. Every 15 seconds, the scene shifts. Always to a group of boys bullying another. Once the instrumental starts after the initial singing, the song is toned down, to be background noise, and singing stopped for Davey to be heard.
DJ: Ha, ha, ha haaaa! Bobby, you have not been paying attention to me, have you? Oh, ho ho, no you haven't! Many warnings were given, that a deal was made with the devil. Except, the devil was not I!
The scene changes, music stops. Thirteen kids are sitting at their desk. All of them looking at the board. Math problems are on the board, but the only ones seen are '13x13=?' and a picture of a right angled triangle, where the two shorter sides are listed as 13, and the longer side as a '?' on it
DJ: Bobby, you only got a small taste of what's in store for you. I'm sure you're just dying to know what's in store for you. But what's the fun in that? See, there's a surprise in store for you, and it's scheduled to get to you oh so very soon... I hope you enjoy it!
The scene changes to footage of Jake the Snake Roberts in his prime with WWE using Damien on his enemies, focusing in on Jake slapping the snake a few times, then not releasing even though officials and Jake are attempting to get it removed.
DJ: Could this be it? Perhaps. Perhaps a heavier fate awaits you. Perhaps....
Camera focuses in on a backstage area, with a chair in the distance, and a figure seen sitting on it. Camera slowly gets closer, but stops well short of being able to see who is in the chair
DJ: Perhaps, someone will be "motivation" for you to declare for the battle royal, and meet your maker! See, beating you in a one on one match, sending you to the Looney Bin.... Nothing but a foregone conclusion.
Footage being shown switches to a recent WWE Royal Rumble match, where the ring is filled almost to the limit with wrestlers.
See, we need to make this interesting. I need a challenge. Or rather, I want you to have a slim chance to beat me. See, normally you'd have a 50-50 shot in a match. But you take my size, my power, I'm like two people. So now you got a 33% chance of winning. But I have the cunning of Jack on my side. So, take his 50%, add my 67% chance, and you'll see there's just no way I can lose! Bwa ha ha ha ha haaa!
"Bully" starts to play, camera fades out as Davey's laughter can be heard, echoing, before going dark and silent 10 seconds later

Dasha Banks walks down the corridor carrying a stuffed toy bear that strongly resembles Fozzy. She turns and looks just behind the camera.
DB: You don't have to follow me, Ted. TC (laughing): Of course I do. The fans have been crying out for this plus… DB: Plus what? TC (his voice slightly cracking): I've known him for a long time and I've known you for a long time. I want to see him smile again- really smile again- just as much as you do. Now go get him. DB (taking a deep breath): Ok then…
Dasha walks up to the locker room, but the door is open and she pauses as she hears voices. Ted moves the camera to show Jerry and MDE sat on the benches.
MDE: It happened, Jerry. You hit the bottom. You don't need me to tell you what you did out there. You know it. This is rock bottom. Now you have a choice. Either you stay at rock bottom and wallow in self-pity or you grasp the hand that's just above you and you let that hand help you pull yourself up.
Jerry sighs and doesn't say anything.
MDE: I've been offering you help all along. I knew that eventually you'd reach the point where you really needed it and that point is now. Let me help you.
Jerry looks away from MDE, sighs again and drops his head.
MDE (slowly): Look… Jerry… I understand. I know that I'm not exactly the person you want in your corner… What I did to Berry… I know it hurt you and I know it hurt her. If I could turn back the clock… maybe I'd do things differently.
Jerry looks up, almost, but not quite, making eye contact with MDE.
MDE: This might be painful to hear, Jerry, but I did it because I wanted you to be the Jerry Bishop that I know you can be. You've done this for years and you've never won a title. Not even a crappy one. You've got all the talent to be at the top of this company- hell, to be at the top of this sport, wherever you find yourself- but you haven't used it. I almost got it out of you then but I know I can get it out of you now. You've got abilities I can only dream of. I got as far as I did on the back of having gameplans, on the back of hard work and on the back of obsessive self-improvement. But Berry showed it and Baker hammered it home. I can't adapt. I don't have the pure natural ability to take my hard work to the next level. But you do. All you need is someone to help you prepare, someone to help you develop that killer instinct. I can be that person. Let me help you and I promise you that you'll be better than ever before.
Jerry looks up but still doesn't look MDE in the eyes. Then he drops his head again.
MDE: Don't you want to make it up to Berry? I heard what she said. You're her brother and she still loves you… but she's got to be angry. You two were about to win the All Star Tag Team Classic, one of the most prestigious tag team tournaments in the world. And then you messed it up because your head is all wrong. Work with me and you and Berry can be Tag Team Champions if that's what you want.
Jerry looks up again, staring at the opposite wall, but he shakes his head.
JB (quietly): She deserves better than that. She deserves better than me.
MDE: Then be better. Be the brother that she deserves. Be the Bishop that makes her proud to have that name, like you used to be. Like you will be with my guidance.
Jerry lowers his head again.
MDE pauses, thinking.
MDE: If you won't do it for Berry… remember the boy? Last week, in the diner… remember the boy?
Jerry nods, not looking up.
MDE: He asked you when you were next going to win a match. He loved you… and you were letting him down. To tell you the truth, this Jerry is letting every single Freedom Fighter down. They love you more than they could ever love anyone else… but for how much longer can you sustain that? They won't love what you did tonight. And if you keep losing… if you lose every match in the Free-1? How will they feel then? If you drift down the card, eventually just falling off it altogether… how long until they just forget you? When Berry is the Bishop having all of the success because of her hard work and her ability shining through, when she wins that Freedom Title in two weeks time, how long after that will it take for you to just be known as her brother who bangs the mat for her? You want them to go home happy? You want them to finally get what they've been so desperate for ever since FPW started? You want them to see you holding up the FPW Championship? You want to feel the waves of joy sweeping over you as they chant your name after you win that title? Or do you want to be forgotten? It's your choice, Jerry. Only you can decide that.
MDE turns and begins to walk towards the door.
JB: Wait.
MDE turns. Jerry slowly stands and walks towards him. Very slowly, without looking MDE in the eye, Jerry extends his hand. MDE smiles and shakes it.
JB: I'm not proud of this... but if this is what it takes to make things right... with Berry... with the Freedom Fighters... to give them what they deserve...
Jerry looks up and makes eye contact with MDE for the first time.
JB: Let's do it.
The camera pans back to Dasha, who has watched the whole scene from the door. Her face drops and a tear runs down her cheek. She looks at the camera for a moment before turning and running down the corridor. The camera follows her, shakily, as Ted runs after her.
TC: Dasha…. Dasha wait!

Artemis Evans was sitting backstage, holding an ice pack to her knee. Thea Donovan sat next to her, while Myra Lopez stood in the doorway. Dasha Banks walks into the room, clearly intending to speak with the former champion.
"Artemis, after six months of holding the FPW women's championship, you lost that title tonight to your biggest rival, Elizabeth Karlson. Can I get your thoughts on that? Will there be a rematch in the near future?"
Artemis sighed before turning to face Dasha. "You want my thoughts Dasha? You want to know how it feels for a queen to lose her crown? Well to be honest, it feels like a relief." Dasha looks shocked, and even Thea and Myra look surprised. "Oh, were you not expecting that answer? I'm sure you were expecting me to be ranting and raving about how desperately I want my title back, but I see things in a different way. After six months of carrying that belt, it was starting to hold me down. As long as I was women's champion, I would be expected to defend that title against the other women in this company. And I have nothing against this, grinding people's heroes down to dust is a delicious feeling, but after a while, there's no point. Once I defeated everyone of note, which I did on the night I won the title, remember, there was nothing left for me to prove. But now that I'm free of the dead weight known as the FPW women's division, I can refocus my attention on my hunt for glory. For instance, becoming the winner of the second Free-1 and the first woman to compete for the World Championship sounds pretty damn glorious, don't you think?"
Smiles spread across the faces of all three Queendom members, while Dasha still looked shocked at Artemis' flippant attitude towards losing the championship.
"You asked about a rematch with Karlson, and at some point, there will be, but it will be when I want it to happen. Karlson's lusted after my championship for long enough, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the least bit interested to see how long she can keep it. But if she manages to hold onto it for long enough, I'll be back for the title before she exceeds my reign, you can count on that."
Thea spoke up at this point. "But you won't have to worry about that. Elizabeth Karlson doesn't have your wrestling ability, and she doesn't have your experience in having a target in her back at all times. While chasing you, Karlson could focus all her energy on one target, but now she has to be prepared for everyone to be coming for her with the same drive. Hell, I may see if I can negotiate into a title match myself, bring that championship back to the Queendom."
Artemis laughed at that before turning back to Dasha. "Now, if you have no more questions, it's time for you to leave." Dasha nodded before backing out of the room, leaving the Queedom to discuss their future in FPW.

Jack is seen watching footage of Davey Jones' beatdown of Bobby while simultaneously watching old 50/50 footage that shows him atop Davey's shoulders making an entrance when Jack was the 50/50 midcard champion, first man in the company to hold a title.
JS: Oh Bobby. Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. I'm truly sorry it had to come to that. Really I am. But everything comes full circle right? You remember when things started falling apart with us? You had a point earlier in the show. It was when you won the Dead Man's Chest and I lost to Graham Baker. You were right, I was a bit jealous, but not enough to do what I did.
Jack leans back in his chair.
JS: Not to rehash the past, but when I first came here, yours was one of the first faces I saw much to my chagrin. I thought, this guy really is psycho, following me from indie to bloody indie just to get what he saw was his revenge. It also made me a chuckle a bit. Having since met your brother, I realized just how alike you two were. Now, I respected the Viper. But the garden snake, not so much. You earned my respect though. We stood in that ring and fought off TakeOver. Marcus Allen Jones becoming the enemy of my enemy that brought us together. It all started with your obsession. Marcus got under your skin and the second you won that DMC, all you could talk about, all you could fantasize about, was him regaining the belt so you could be the one to take it from him. Neither of those things happened. Now, you have nothing and he has nothing. Funny how things worked out.
Jack turns the two videos off and faces the camera with a smirk.
JS: You got what you wanted Bobby. You got your hands on Jones...Well, he got his hands on you rather. But either way, make no mistake that I was the one who lured Davey back here. Sure Houston signed on the dotted line but I convinced Davey to join this crusade. He had, let's just say, unfinished business here anyway so it wasn't a tough sell. But as you may remember, he and I go way back.
Jack grins broadly.
JS: This whole thing between us started...because of Jones. This whole thing went south...because of Jones...This whole thing ends...because of Jones.
Jack laughs at the irony.
JS: Again, good luck Bobby. Truly, I mean it. Good luck not losing everything you worked so hard to regain because once again, you got outsmarted. Also, I'd wish you luck in your match, but I highly doubt you'll even be fit to compete.

Aaron Williams sits on top of a crate backstage, tape hanging from his wrists as he holds an ice pack to the back of his neck.
"I need to get these thoughts in order... Ok... let's start with Jace. Jace, man, you were awesome to team with these past few weeks. You say that you learned a lot from me? I'm glad. I also learned a lot from you. You've got a great future, kid. I'm sorry that we couldn't add the All Star into it. One day the two of us will stand opposite each other in the ring and I hope it's for a big prize. I know you offered me a Freedom Title match... maybe if you get past Berry Bishop we could look at that?
"Secondly, to Berry and Jerry Bishop... man, what can I say? We had a great match. You two are talented SOBs, you really are. I was sat watching that final really rooting for you. Jerry... I've seen people where you are now. You'll get there, man. One day I hope to face both of you two again too. I know for sure that I could make some beautiful music with you two. I'd congratulate Death Squad on their win, but... I don't respect either Balmer or Rorsche enough to offer them my congratulations. Maybe there's another match I want... Death Squad versus me and Jace... if Jace wants it too. If they get past those Strong Style hardcases, who's to say that we can't be their next challengers?
"Thirdly... the Free-1. I'm not going to lie to anyone... the Free-1 was one of the main reasons that I came here. A guaranteed five singles matches against some badass wrestlers throughout August with a huge prize on the line. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that? But I guess I upset someone somehow as I've got Jack Sevren in a qualifier. Before that was announced, I had Jack as one of the favourites to win the thing. But now... sorry, Jack, but you're not going to make it to the Free-1. You see, when I got here I did and bit of this and a bit of that... I had a nice debut match with Zachary Bates and then formed a nice team with Jace Mason. No disrespect to either guy, especially Jace, but I stayed under the radar. But the Free-1... that's my chance to get so far onto the radar that I'll take up the whole fucking screen. Jack... here's what I've got to say to you: come and face me one on one. No Davey Jones. No distractions. No bullshit. You've got six weeks to prepare for me. That ought to be enough for someone as talented as yourself to get ready and to back yourself. I didn't come here for screwy matches where my opponent somehow convinces a big dude to help them out. I've been there for the past few years and I don't want to go back to that. Me and you, Jack. One on one."
Williams climbs down from the crate and is about to walk off camera before he stops and turns to face the screen again.
"Oh yeah... how could I forget? Battle royal... I am in you."

Sato stands with Dasha Banks, who looks a little down.
DB: Sato... The Guardians of Strong Style have been given a rematch on the third night of the Road To Free-1 shows. Do you have any comment? S: Guardians of Strong Style cheated out of Tag Team Championships. Death Squad... no honour. Again. Death Squad cheat to beat Marcus and Morgan. Death Squad cheat to beat Bishops. Death Squad both talented. But Death Squad not half team of Guardians of Strong Style. Guardians of Strong Style win back Tag Team Championships and show world exactly who Death Squad are. DB: And you've also got both Takahara and Tchyukiro in Free-1 qualifiers. Was that at your request? S: Yes. I ask Houston for Free-1 qualifying matches. Guardians of Strong Style very strong team. Guardians of Strong Style inexperienced as individuals. Free-1 great opportunity to learn. DB: Masa Tchyukiro takes on Clutch McCloud in two weeks' time. What are your thoughts about that match? S: Tough match. Clutch McCloud very talented. Clutch McCloud vicious. But Tchyukiro-San not scared by vicious. Match will be difficult but match will be excellent. DB: And Hiro Takahara faces either Berry Bishop or Jace Mason. Do you have a preference? S: In Japan, men face women not often but on special occasion. Berry Bishop and Hiro Takahara definitely special. But Jace Mason also special talent. Both matches tough for Takahara-San. Takahara-San and Berry have kicks but Mason very different. Both tough opponents. DB: And if both of them make it into the Free-1, how would they feel about facing each other? S: Guardians of Strong Style train together every day. They face each other every day. Free-1 match would be great honour. DB: Could either of them win the Free-1? S: Difficult. Very difficult. But Guardians of Strong Style give everything to every match. Both could win Free-1. DB: If they do make it in, would that be a distraction going into the Tag Team Championship match? S: No. Free-1 is bonus. Tag Team Championships number one priority. Guardians of Strong Style make Death Squad dead.
Sato leaves, and Dasha hands her microphone back to Ted Crewmember before sighing.
TC: You really don't have to do these today, you know. DB: It's fine. I'm fine. I'll be fine. Something about fine. TC: Ok... if you want to talk- DB: I don't really want to. Not now.

In the arena, we see on screen a scene playing from a few weeks ago. We see the scene of Davey and Dasha playing out again, followed by the short segment at a park with the distorted voice on the phone. Once done, we see Davey, in a prison-like setting, Davey sitting at a control tower
DJ: Houston! If you think you can control what happens, now that I'm in here... You got another thing coming! My, my, my, how quickly you FORGET! And the damn idiots that follow you - they're so damned naive! They think that everyone's going to be your puppet... That, when you say 'jump' that the talent automatically asks 'how high?'
Camera pans, moves around to some of the monitors, where we see Davey in a different match on nine of the 10 screens. On each, he is dominating. On the final, there is a doll, looking like Bobby O and Jim Houston sitting on a table
DJ: How quickly you forget: the PAIN and the DESTRUCTION I bring to whatever shit town I go to, whatever pathetic roster my talents take me to! Sure, I may not win a title, but that's merely because I choose not to go after it! That changes NOW. I officially declare myself eligible for the Battle Royal, just in case it wasn't clear earlier.
Camera goes to the side, where the table containing the dolls, and some needles are. Davey picks up the Bobby O doll, and a needle, holding the needle very close to the doll's right hand.
DJ: Are you too much of a coward to face me like a man?

Shortly after the All Star Tag Classic goes off the air, the cameras are waiting as Marcus groggily and dizzily makes his way behind the curtain. Dasha Banks steps up to him for an interview and instead of pushing her away, Marcus just nods, signaling for her to continue as one of the backstage personnel hands him several ice packs and another begins to tape up his ribs, Marcus writhing in pain at the touch. He places a towel against the back of his head, some of the bleeding not yet stopped.
Seemingly off camera, Dasha suggests the interview can wait but Marcus pushes ahead.
MAJ: They say...there's no time...like the present. Besides...you're not gonna get...a more raw...reaction...than right now.
Dasha nods as Marcus tells the trainer wrapping his ribs to leave it. As Dasha looks on, standing in front of her, she sees Marcus in a different way for the first time. He looks almost sympathetic and more than a little broken.
DB: Marcus, after your match, the Invaders joined the melee and began brutally attacking Graham Baker despite the hellacious encounter you had both gone through. And earlier, we heard you telling Dario to listen to your instructions implicitly or else there'd be consequences. We all saw you call the attack off but I have to ask if this was your plan all along?
Marcus takes a deep breath, coughing out the little bit of air he felt in his lungs.
MAJ: I changed my mind.
DB: So you did plan to attack Baker after the match?
Marcus simply nodded. MAJ: My goal...was to win back my title...any means necessary...I didn't do it...I couldn't...do it...The Invaders, they made a choice...And I made a choice...And here we are.
DB: So what exactly are you saying? They acted on their own accord?
Marcus sighs, starting to wish he hadn't agreed to the interview.
MAJ: I'm saying, it doesn't matter anymore...This was my last chance...and I failed...Attacking Baker served no further purpose...He and I...
Marcus pauses.
MAJ: He beat me...fair and square...It's over now...I can't challenge for the title again...No amount of tricks or manipulations would change that...Houston, he's clearly set on it...So why waste the effort to attack a man who I can't face again...as long as he's champion? Unless...
Marcus pauses, a sudden realization hitting him as he takes another slow, long drawn out breath.
DB: Unless what?
MAJ: Unless I win the Free-1...And that's where my focus is...Not on whatever the Invaders choose to do or not to do.
Dasha nods, noting this new sense of determination in Marcus' glazed eyes. But she still has one more question.
DB: You surprised a lot of people out there when you stopped the attack and instead raised Baker's arm in victory. Is it safe to say you've turned over a new leaf here?
MAJ: I'm not a tree Dasha...I don't have leaves...But like I said, I changed my mind...
With that, Marcus begins walking away, back toward the trainers who were tending to him before. Dasha seems like she wants to ask him more questions but she brushes them off and tells the cameraman the interview is over, allowing Marcus to get the medical attention he needs. She shrugs, not sure to chalk up his behavioral shift to a legitimate change of heart or simply the result of the concussion he likely sustained. Either way, she found curiosity in it and told herself that she'd plan a follow-up interview as soon as he was medically fit to do so.

With Marcus being seen to by the trainers, Jim Houston walks up to him.
MAJ: Ugh... I don't need a talking to right now.
JH: And you won't be getting one. You've done a lot of things that I don't respect, some to me, some to others. The match you had tonight... I respect that. The way you swallowed your pride at the end... I certainly respect that.
MAJ: Thanks... I guess.
JH: You mentioned getting a title match if you win the Free-1. You realise in the contract for the match, it stipulated no further FPW Title matches for as long as Baker holds the belt? But... if he keeps the belt and if you win the Free-1... I guess we can work around it.
Houston holds out a hand to Marcus, who looks warily up at him.
JH: With Davey Jones seemingly ready to take over your hatred for me, I don't want to have to fight on multiple fronts. I'm trying to build a bridge here.
Marcus looks up at Houston, nods and shakes his hand.

We enter backstage at Freedom Pro Wrestling, where the Death Squad hold their belts and trophy from the All Star Tag Team Classic high. Aiden Balmer slumps into a chair, leaning back as Rorsche joins him at the same table. Knight stands between the two, and begins speaking. "Death came, death saw, and death conquered. In three nights, we made our name known across Freedom Pro Wrestling. We impacted the entire wrestling landscape when we brutalized the Guardians of Strong Style and handed them their first-ever loss. We destroyed them a second time when we ripped the Freedom Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championships from their ravaged hands. We changed the landscape of an entire tag team division when we defeated Marcus and Morgan, and, later, The Bishops, to become the first-ever champions to win the All Star Tag Team Classic. We promised to bring change, and, painful as it was...we did exactly as we promised.
You may argue with our methods, but there are three things in this world you cannot argue with. Thing one," Knight grabs Rorsche's tag team title off of her shoulder. "We are the Freedom Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions. We are the kings of an entire division, and we will not be silenced by those who could not manage a single win off of us. All of you had all of the momentum in the world to stop us, a team that went through an entire tournament without taking a single fucking night off and still won the whole thing. Four matches-that's more than any other team competed in. Four fucking matches, and you say we're unworthy?" Knight chuckles, and motions to the All Star Tag Team Classic trophy. "Thing two, we won the Freedom Pro Wrestling All Star Tag Team Classic. We destroyed the Bishops, after widdle Jewwy Bishop couldn't handle his sister getting the fame, although try as she might, she couldn't have kept Rorsche down for the three, nor could she keep Balmer down for longer. We executed our plan to proficiency, and in this, we made a mark on the company that is indisputable. We are the greatest tag team in Freedom Pro Wrestling history, and we will not be stopped yet. Guardians of Strong Style, you will fail to reclaim these belts, and any other team-Marcus and Morgan, Taylor and Mason, the fucking Bishops-any other team that comes to us will fall short, and learn exactly what it feels like to be engulfed by the embrace of death."
Knight looks to Balmer, who adjusts his title on his shoulder, and Rorsche, who wipes blood and sweat from his forehead, before she begins speaking. "And thing number three-in the All Star Tag Team Classic, we pinned the ALPHA Wrestling Tag Team Champions, Marcus and Morgan. We earned a shot at the ALPHA Tag Team Championships, and to us, this means that we should have a match at Gods Among Us, one on one. Marcus, you may speak on the tactics we used to win...but we came out victorious. You, not so much.
As for the others in this match-you all are nothing to us. Romalis Ventura, a man with a chip on his shoulder, and Andy Lush, a man more at home in a D-grade pornography than a wrestling ring...you all will know death, you will know the fury of Aiden Balmer and the wrath of the Death Squad. You will know what happens as Death Comes Knocking, because when Death Squad Arrives..." Rorsche and Balmer let out low chuckles, and the low voice of Aiden Balmer leaks from his mask. "Everyone dies." The three leave the scene, Balmer knocking his chair over as he does so, grabbing their belts and standing in frame for one more moment before they walk off...

Camera turns on to see Davey watching a TV screen, where on closed circuit TV, he watches the interview with Jim HoustonWith Marcus being seen to by the trainers, Jim Houston walks up to him. Davey turns and looks at the cameraDJ: So he thinks I hate him? Heh... hehehehe.... I'm touched that you think I hate you, Tex. Can I call you Tex? Well, I don't care, I'm going to anyhow. See, Tex, if I truly hated you, I'd leave you like a bloody pool of water. The fact that you're still standing, without injury, should speak wonders. In fact, As a token of 'good will', perhaps I should extend an olive branch, of sorts. Whadda ya say, Tex? Truce? Davey smirks, and starts to laugh, maniacally, when the camera cuts out suddenly

Jim Houston sits at a desk with voices coming from a phone on speaker.
"But if we don't fill the arena each night-" "We'll fill it. The Free-1 is a big thing and it's only getting bigger. You don't need to worry." "I am worried, William. It's my job to plan for the worst case. These qualifying matches... what if our bigger draws like Jones, Sevren, Bobby O etc miss out? Baker is doing great numbers for us and Bishop will help, but if this goes badly-"
Houston cuts him off.
"I can assure you that any possible line-up from the potential qualifiers will be a big draw. The fans are rabid for this tournament, and I plan to stoke that fire. Besides, we have extra slots that we can use in case any of our big draws miss out. They'll have a presence on the show if we need them to. Anyway, gentlemen, I believe that's all the time we have. I'll investigate those names and will have the contract offer drawn up. I'll send you details of talks as soon as I can. See you in two weeks."
Houston ends the call as someone knocks on the door. Ted Crewmember pokes his head around the door.
TC: Sorry to disturb you, boss, but there's a package here for you...
He hands it to Houston.
JH: No name... odd.
Ted turns to leave but Houston stops him.
JH: Hey... how's Dasha doing? TC: She's holding up... I think. Did you... JH: I heard. Jerry will come round... I think. TC: I'll see you round, boss.
Houston opens the package carefully and peers inside. He rummages around and a few packaging peanuts drop out. He pulls out a piece of paper and reads it.
"Fire! DJ... what the hell is..."
Houston looks around the office to see if there's anything else and, when he turns back, he knocks the package onto his side, causing some of the packaging peanuts to come out.
"Hey..."
Houston pulls out a slim jim and opens it, taking a cautious bite. His eyes widen and he looks down to see the flavour- chilli and garlic. He starts to breathe deeply as the heat kicks in but then he peers back inside the box and slowly pulls out a small bottle of milk.
"What is going on around here?"
Houston takes a swig of the milk before putting the bottle and the slim jim back in the box, which he places on the floor next to his desk.
"They did warn me..."

The camera opens on a close-up shot of the Freedom Championship sitting on a table. A door is heard being opened, and the camera pulls back to show Jace Mason walking into the room. He looked at his championship before turning to face the camera.
"I've always prided myself on being honest with everyone. No one has to try and find the meaning hidden in my words, because I don't hide anything, everything you guys need to hear, I'll say it. And I'm going to continue that honesty ave tell you guys that I feel like something's been missing over the past few months. And that's no offense to Aaron Williams, my partner for most of that time. Aaron, teaming with you was an amazing experience, and I wouldn't do anything about our run any differently. But now that our run has unfortunately cone to an end, it's time for me to refocus."
"This realization that I've been missing something happened just last night. I went back and I watched our match from Sunday. This is something I almost always do after I have a match, it helps me identify what I need to work on before my next match. But I got to a point watching the match where Steven Deville called me the Eternal Student. And it was at this moment, hearing the nickname I'd given myself, that I realized my heart hadn't been in it, I was just going through the motions of being the Eternal Student. I've been so focused on fighting against TakeOver that I lost track of my ongoing quest for self-improvement. So it's time for me to stop being Jace Mason: enemy of TakeOver or Jace Mason: tag team partner. It's not even time for Jace Mason: Freedom Champion. It's time for me to be Jace Mason: Eternal Student, once again."
Jace picks the Freedom Championship off the table and slings it over his shoulder. "But it just so happens that the Eternal Student is Freedom Champion, and I've got a title defense coming up. Berry Bishop, congratulations on defeating Aaron and I, and I'm sorry that you couldn't pick up a win in the finals. But on the way to those finals, you pinned my shoulders to the mat, and that's earned you a title shot. I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting you at the end of Sunday's match, but make no mistake, I'll be ready at the Road to Free-1. I'm looking forward to our match Berry, I'll see you there."
