Dasha Banks is standing with Clutch, Danica Jane, and Sir Richard Crowley.
RC: I hope you remembered our little stipulation.
Dasha sighs as she hands Clutch a piece of paper. The three of them read through the questions amongst themselves. Crowley groans and Danica sighs as the pore over the page.
DJ: Honestly? You seriously call yourself a journalist? You know what? Just get the hell out of here.
Clutch takes over.
CM: When I said I wanted proper competition, Jim Houston didn't disappoint. When I found out I would be facing Go Shihei I was a little skeptical. But you know something? I went back and watched his match and HOLY SHIT was I impressed. But you know what? You aren't going to be stepping into the ring with just anyone. You're stepping in the ring with the G.O.A.T., the dynasty, Mr. Must-See, the TarHEEL, the baddest motherfucker you've ever seen, and most notably God's Gift to Wrestling. I suggest you go back and you get a good look at what I've done as of late. Look at Russ Bolt..,look at Jerry Bishop. If I'm willing to do what I did to people I called friends...what do you think I'm willing to do to you?

FPW.com Exclusive
Immediately after Resurrection, Jim Houston is back in his office trying to calm himself down when there is a knock on the door. Initially Jim ignores it until he hears a strained voice.
BO: Jim, it's Bobby...Can we talk?
Jim takes a deep breath before unlocking the door.
JH: Of course Bobby, come on in.
Bobby just nods as he closes the door behind him. He seems unsettled.
JH: Would you like to have a seat?
Bobby shakes his head. BO: No, I'm, I'm good. This will only take a moment of your time. I just wanted to--
Bobby stops mid-sentence, his gaze landing on the chest sitting next to Jim's desk. Jim watches as he walks over to the object, pulling out the contract inside. Bobby examines it closely, almost as if he were looking for some kind of loophole or opt-out clause, but it's merely wishful thinking. He traces his signature and then that of the referee who accepted the contract. As he continues to run his fingers across the legalese, Bobby notices the contract is stamped with the date and time of his cash-in. He sighs, placing the contract back in the chest, which he proceeds to shut.
JH: Look Bobby, I'm sympathetic for what happened tonight but unfortunately, I can't reverse the cash-in. I can't give you back the chest or void the contract. I can't change your decision.
Bobby chuckles dryly as he turns his back to Jim.
BO: My decision...My decision that was probably the most selfless decision I ever made in my career...You know, when Jack and I agreed to start tagging, no one was more surprised than I was. We hated each other and that's not hyperbole. What we put each other through, the battles we endured. We were 5050's "Fight Forever" and yet, I trusted him, even given the circumstances of how we became a team. We still didn't like each other when I came here, and Jack, he was carrying a grudge. But I was making amends, trying to do whatever I could to get my life back on track and well, the enemy of my enemy, right? But I should have known that Jack would be no more trustworthy than Marcus. With a brother who's a Viper, I should have been able to spot a snake in the grass. But I didn't, or maybe I did. Maybe I just needed this fantasy that I was putting my past behind me. That I was making amends, that I was getting closer to being the man I once was, the man I was trying to be. Teaming with Jack, it just started to feel right. It felt like a new beginning. How could I have been so stupid and naive?
Bobby pauses as Jim stays silent, letting him get it all out.
BO: I meant it when I told him us winning the titles was one of the highlights of my career. You don't know what that's like, to win alongside your partner, until you've had that moment and had it taken away from you. I was WWE tag team champion once with Randy and then it all fell to shit after I was attacked, blindsided, and almost lost my career. And don't get me wrong, I've won singles titles, I've had people around me my whole career. Although, I guess if we're being honest, none of them have been any different than Jack. One way or another, I've been backstabbed, betrayed, had my heart broken. Mentors, family, the love of my life...It's not important. I just, I came here to ask you one thing, one thing I'm hoping you can give me: Jack.
Jim nods. JH: Say no more, I've already booked a match for you two at the All Star Tag Classic.
Bobby chuckles. BO: Fitting I suppose, given it was our victory at the first one that led us to feeling like a real team and not just two guys who came together with a shared vendetta...But, that's not actually what I want.
Jim looks confused. JH: I thought you said you wanted Jack.
Bobby finally turns back to face Jim.
BO: I did and I do, but not in the way you think. I know it's going to sound cliche but I want him to tell me why. I need to know how long he's been planning this, what the moment was when he knew he was going to pull the trigger. Because I thought things were good between us, up until that stupid mistake I made. But maybe it goes back beyond that. Maybe this was his revenge all along for me costing him BOLA. I don't know. But Jim, I need to know. I need to know if I had this coming, if it was something I brought on myself. I need to give him a chance to explain because maybe, I don't know, maybe we can yell at each other and get our past completely out in the open and maybe we can move on. I came here for a fresh start and I don't want to go back to old habits. A fresh start means a fresh start with everyone, even Jack. He and I should be able to face this and move on. I don't want to make him an enemy anymore. I just want to get back a sense of who I am and I just don't think I can do that unless I talk to him. Just five minutes is all I ask, for both of us to get everything out in the open.
Jim is taken aback.
JH: After what he cost you, both intentionally and non-intentionally, I'm incredibly impressed that your first instinct isn't wanting to punish him. Bobby, your actions since joining FPW have been nothing short of honorable and admirable. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You have righted your career here and no one is more proud of you than I am. But, if I may offer some advice, I don't think this is a good idea.
Bobby shakes his head. BO: I understand, but can I be perfectly honest with you?
JH: Of course.
BO: My motives for not wanting a match aren't admirable or honorable. In fact, they are quite the opposite. Jim, you gave me a chance when no one else would and I'm incredibly grateful. You have done more for me in this past year than I ever could have imagined. But...he's still a part of me. He's still inside of me and I just feel if I got in the ring with Jack, if he got in the ring with Jack right now, that the outcome wouldn't be something you'd be so proud of. And I don't know, maybe it's ridiculous to think the same outcome won't occur if we're just talking...I just, I need this Jim. I need this to end. I need closure, whatever that may look like.
Jim looks at Bobby carefully. JH: I'll consider it.
BO: Thank you, that's all I ask. Take care Jim.
JH: You too Bobby.
Bobby nods and leaves the office as Jim leans back in his chair, taking a moment to reflect on Bobby's request.

The camera opens backstage several minutes after Resurrection goes off air. James Saturn is leaned against the wall, vomiting directly on to the floor. As the camera comes closer, Dasha Banks enters the frame and approaches Saturn with a look of utter disgust on her face.
DB: James, tonight you...
JS: Shut up... Give me a second, let me just...
James finishes vomiting before grabbing a towel from nearby, wiping off his face, and turning to Dasha. He's beaten up and he's frowning, clearly reeling after his loss to Baker.
JS: What do you want?
DB: Well, first of all, tonight you faced Graham Baker for the FPW Championship in a match that capped off months of tension between the two of you. Throughout the build to the much, you insisted again and again that you were better than Baker, yet he ended the show victorious. How would you respond to this loss?
JS: You kidding? That wasn't a loss. He didn't beat me. The fucker rolled off a ladder and stole my win, and he calls me the "lucky" one. I'd go on but it's clear I'm not getting a shot at the FPW title or Baker at all after this... So let's just move on. Now.
DB: Alright, well, looking towards the future you go toe to toe with one of the most popular stars in all of FPW, Bobby O, in only a couple weeks. How are you preparing for this match?
JS: God, this is dull. Has anyone ever told you how dull your interviews are Dasha?
DB: I...
JS: I'm not preparing for Bobby O. I don't have to and I don't honestly think I'm in the mood for it right now. So let me lay out for you what's going to happen. I'm going to beat the shit out of Bobby, I'm going to pin him, and then I'm going to...
DB: You're going to what?
There's a silence for several seconds as James contemplates what to say.
JS: I don't know. I don't know what to do from there.
James looks defeated and begins to walk away, only for Dasha to attempt to get the interviews back on track.
DB: Any chance you may compete in the second All Star Tag Team Classic?
James turns back around and swats the mic out of Dasha's hand.
JS: The interview is over. Fuck off, all of you.
James walks off leaving Dasha and the cameraman in complete silence.

Aaron Williams stands in the back with Dasha Banks.
DB: Aaron. Tonight you made your FPW debut. How do you feel it went?
AW: The match was great. It was an awesome experience. The fans were amazing, Bates was a perfect opponent for me to have my debut match here. I think I gave a pretty good account of what I can do, but I know there's more to come. I definitely made the right decision to make the return to the independent scene here in Freedom Pro Wrestling.
DB: And you've officially entered the All Star Tag Team Classic with Jace Mason. Why did you choose to enter with Jace?
AW: Jace is a talented kid. He's got a brilliant attitude and he's the kind of person I want to be around. He loves wrestling, just like me, and he's always looking to better himself. Jace has a big future, and if I can help at all with that, I'd be delighted to. I've also never really been a huge tag team wrestler so it gives me a chance to try something fairly new.
DB: You also had run-ins with TakeOver and with Marcus Allen Jones in particular. Tell us a bit about your feelings towards Marcus.
AW: Me feelings towards Marcus are the same as most people's. He's a very talented wrestler. I see him at his age and compare to what I was like then... there's no comparison. He's a ton better than I was. But that doesn't mean he can walk around with the attitude that he has and expect to get away with it. You know, I'm here because I love wrestling. I could have stayed in the WWE and made good money for a long time. If I'd have just done things the way they wanted them done then I'd still be there and I'd probably be doing quite well. I'd probably be a guy who'd retire and get a job training at the PC. But I didn't want any of that. I wanted to wrestle. So I came back to the independent scene because it's what I loved. But Marcus? He wins the CZW Wired Championship. Fine. Well done to him- if he won it because it's a title he respects. But it isn't. He won it to get back a different title from someone else. And then look at how he conducted himself at Wrestlemania weekend. The man was an embarrassment to himself, to FPW, to everyone who competes here and, quite frankly, to wrestling itself. I want to be in the ring with him and I want to teach him a lesson.
DB: You'll get that chance in two weeks' time in the elimination match.
AW: Good. I don't know what anyone else in that match is thinking yet but I hope I'm the one to eliminate Marcus. Not because I don't want to see him face Graham Baker. I watched their first match and it was incredible. I'd love to see them wrestle again. But I don't want Marcus Allen Jones to get the chance to get his hands on that belt, because he doesn't deserve to represent FPW or to represent independent wrestling.
DB: You of course face The Invaders in a month's time. How will you and Jace Mason approach that match?
AW: Ah, now, Dasha, come on. You know I can't reveal our secrets. And that's not just because we haven't planned our strategy yet! I'll sit down with Jace sometime soon and we'll go over it. But remember, I want to beat all of them. He wants to take out TakeOver, and I fully support that, but once we've done that, we'll be entirely focussed on winning this thing and taking the belts from The Guardians of Strong Style. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm very tired and I have a long drive ahead of me.

Graham Baker sits alone in a chair, the FPW World Heavyweight Championship upon his shoulder. He looks at the belt, nods, and places it down across his lap. He's bandaged, bruised, and beaten, not just from the ladder match against Saturn, but from a brutal triple threat in ALPHA Wrestling which saw him defend his ALPHA title shot gained from his victorious effort in the Ragnarok Royale. He spits onto the floor as he grabs the belt and looks dead ahead.
"For one hundred...and forty one days...I have held this title and defended it with all of my might. Five defenses, breaking the record by one, with more soon to come...I still hold this belt, and I still hold the company on my back. Yesterday, James Saturn opted to try and pry this belt from my hands with his selection of a ladder match, a choice of match that, for him, seemed to only be to his benefit. I would prove him wrong as, repeatedly using my own hardcore background to do damage to Saturn...and finally outsmarting him to secure the win when he opted to try and apply one more bit of punishment. Saturn, once again...hell of a fight, but you're not there yet. Maybe next time, eh?
But maybe there won't be a next time, because I'm focused only on one thing ahead-Marcus Allen Jones, Takeover, and defending my title in the last day of the All Star Tag Team Classic."
Baker cracks his neck, rubbing it with one hand and shaking his head.
"Marcus Allen Jones and the rest of Takeover opted to attack me following my ladder match with Saturn, and, instead of simply laying a challenge down, he tried to cripple me with his goons one more time. At this point, I do have to thank the wonderful team who came to my aid-The Bishops, Mason, Williams-people who show what FPW really is, and at its heart, what it truly means to be a member of this roster. I am grateful to have people to have my back when I'm unable to defend myself.
Marcus, you've made your demands known, and honestly, to me, you've held up your end of the bargain. You didn't interfere in the ladder match at Resurrection, and while I dislike how you're defending the Wired Championship...you haven't thrown the damn thing out. You still haven't earned a shot, but Houston's given you a chance to do so. You've got to survive elimination and take out the entire team assembled with me...and Marcus, you know what? I hope you do win. I hope you eliminate me yourself.
Because honestly? I'm tired of this game.
I'm tired of playing cat and mouse between the two of us, I'm tired of the two of us going at eachothers' throats with no resolution, I'm tired of pinning someone and you and your clown gang rushing out, I'm tired of being ambushed, I'm tired of all of this. You nearly beat me in our match at Judgment Day, but you couldn't get it done. Now, I've beaten your records. In nine days, I will have surpassed your first reign as Freedom Pro Wrestling Champion. In less time, I've defended the belt against, and beaten, more people then you ever would. I've proven that I'm worthy to call myself champion, that I'm worthy to hold this company on my back, that I'm worthy to say that I'm the best in Freedom Pro.
On June Second, I hope you face me in the ring, in whatever stipulation Houston chooses, and I hope, win or lose, that this is an end to our story.
Because I'm weary, and beating you one last time is all I need to get through the night."
Baker adjusts his title one final time and leans back against the chair as the camera cuts out.

Promontory Point, Chicago. Our Messiah, who hasn't been heard from for some time now, sits on a stone block. The view before him is a dark night, near pitch-black, but filled to the brim with stars, dancing, gleaming and shimmering. Below it, the Chicago skyline. A beautiful view, but he wouldn’t know. He’s looking at the piece of paper he holds in his hands.
MEDICAL RELEASE FOR RETURN TO IN-RING COMPETITION
Dear Mr Houston, This release is to certify that Matt Dwyer has successfully undertaken medical treatment and examination, and is cleared to return to in-ring competition as of the 22 nd of April, 2019. …
Our Messiah looks up from the letter. He’s not grinning, smirking or smiling. In fact, he looks rather… conflicted. He folds the letter back into the envelope, and puts the envelope in the inside pocket of his jacket.
He sighs, takes his guitar out of its case and strums aimlessly, not to make music, but more as a distraction. He looks at the Chicago skyline and the star-filled night beyond it, with a look unfamiliar to our Lord and Savior.
A look of uncertainty.

An interview from yesterday's event was uploaded to the FPW website.
The video opened on Artemis Evans walking through the curtain after her match with Karlson, the other two members of the Queendom behind her. The three of them were talking, celebrating Artemis' win, before Dasha Banks stepped up to them.
"Artemis, congratulations on your victory tonight. Can I get a quick word?"
"I can give you more than just a word Dasha, I can give you three." Artemis raised the belt above her head. "I still reign. With that win out there, I proved what I've been saying all along: that I'm the best woman in this division. It doesn't matter who Houston sends out next, I've beaten everyone worth beating. Elizabeth Karlson thought that her thirst for revenge would be enough to fuel her to victory, but it wasn't and nothing ever will be. I heard what people had said, that "Elizabeth Karlson is the last hope of the FPW women's division." Well you can consider that hope extinguished, because I'm still champion, and I'm going to be champion for a long time."
Thinking the interview was over, Dasha began to pull the mic back, but Artemis snatched it from her hand and continued speaking.
"And now that I've asserted my dominance over the women's division, we've come to the conclusion that it's time for the Queendom to expand into the rest of FPW. I see that there's still one spot open for the All Star tag team classic, and I'm here to announce that Thea Donovan and Myra Lopez want to fill that spot." Smiles spread across the faces of all three women. "Boys, you've been warned, the Queendom is coming for you. "

The camera focuses in on a man, his back turned, as he puts on a bomber jacket that reads "Take No Prisoners" on the back with various patches on it. He turns around, the smug face of Jack Sevren staring back.
JS: Resurrection. The idea of a resurrection is someone comes back from the dead. On Sunday, I did just that. See, I realized I had been living a life here in Freedom Pro that wasn't the one I wanted, nor was it the one I came here for. Circumstances drew me into a tag team, away from my goals, away from my aspirations. I'm a man of few words. I prefer to let my actions do the talking and on Sunday, that's exactly what happened. But Bobby, if you want to talk, let's talk. I'm sure you want some answers and I definitely have some things I want to say to you as well. Believe it or not, but you and I, we both want the same thing. However, as it seems, that's the reason why I had to sever our relationship. Nothing personal. So let's get it all out in the open. I'm no monster. You and I, we had some good times. So out of respect for that, let's talk. I think you'll be surprised by what I have to say.
Jack turns back around, pops his collar and then walks away.

Sato stands with The Guardians of Strong Style flanking him.
"At Resurrection, Guardians have shameful opponents. Guardians expecting to face Bobby O and Jack Sevren, but Jack Sevren quit match. Bobby O fight with honour but Guardians of Strong Style too much for him. Guardians of Strong Style win again. What now? Guardians of Strong Style enter All Star Tag Team Classic. First opponent? Mystery. It not matter. Guardians could face all teams and still win tournament. No team in FPW good enough for Guardians of Strong Style. Guardians win All Star Tag Team Classic. Then Guardians see if challenger can be found. In two weeks, Guardians advance to semi-finals. Until then, Guardians strengthen themselves and represent Strong Style back in Japan. Next time we here, we defeat new opponent."

Jim Houston stands behind his desk.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I apologise for being quiet at the beginning of this week. I was very busy with the contract for the elimination match coming up very soon and needed to make sure the wording was absolutely spot on to ensure that stipulation was ironclad. I'm satisfied that the match will deliver exactly what I expect, so Noe I have a few other things to say.
Number one. Artemis Evans... you talk as though you defeated Elizabeth Karlson in a dominant fashion. You didn't. You won the match fairly, but I don't believe even you can say you clearly came out the better competitor. Therefore, there will be a rematch at All Star Tag Team Classic II. How that goes down is up to the two of you to determine, but we will ensure the better woman comes out as the champion.
Number two. The eighth team. Well, until Artemis Evans put forward Thea Donovan and Myra Lopez, I had another team in mind. They go by the name of Death Squad and are comprised of Aiden Balmer and Evan Rorsche. They represent the second team who originate in ALPHA Wrestling to join our tournament. But which will it be... well, I considered a preliminary qualification match but then I heard what Sato had to say. He claimed that his Guardians of Strong Style could beat all of the other teams at once. Why don't we put that to the test? The first quarter-final will see The Guardians of Strong Style facing The Queendom and Death Squad in a triple threat match!
Finally, I wish to address the main event of our upcoming Road To All Star Tag Team Classic show. Should anyone find themselves compelled to get involved in the match who are not part of either five man team, anyone who perhaps wishes to reveal themselves as part of TakeOver... they will be immediately fired from Freedom Pro Wrestling. That is all.

MDE sits behind an unfamiliar table in a well-decorated room.
"Jerry... you must be getting closer to considering my offer now. It still stands. I know exactly how to make you into a top star here, a champion even. When you're ready... and you will be ready soon... you know where I am. Think about it."

Dasha Banks sits on a set with two comfortable chairs in front of a dark blue background. She readjusts her mic while a voice singing can be heard from off screen.
"Come ye, come ye, to bedrooms, bars and bunker squats. The sound is ringing clear."
Aaron Williams bounces into shot and makes a silly face to the camera.
"Now who'd have thought- come on, Dasha, you know the words!- that after all, something as simple as rock and rolls would save us all. Come on Dasha!"
They sing the next line together.
"And who'd have thought... that after all.. it was rock n' roll."
Dasha bursts out laughing as Williams goes all out with an air-drum solo.
AW: Dasha, I'm in a silly mood today. Actually, I'm in a talking mood today. I've got energy. I've got buzz. I'm back! So let's skip the usual three dull questions and then I walk off with you staring at my back and get down to something deep, eh?
DB: Oh... I...
AW: I'm messing with you Dasha. We've not had the pleasure yet, but I know you're not just a pretty face who happens to have at least one hand and can hold a mic. You ask the cutting questions. Cut me, Dasha! I want to spill everything out today.
DB: Well, let's start simple. Why FPW? You could have gone anywhere in the world and yet you came here. Why?
AW: Simple? That's simple? That's big! Look, I really appreciate you saying that I could have gone anywhere, and it's partly true for sure, but I wanted to go back to my roots. I loved my time on the independent scene back in the day. I know it's changed a lot, and boy has it, but like the song says, bedrooms, bars and bunker squats are where I grew up and I feel like it's where I want to go back to. But FPW isn't a small indy, it's a big one. It's poised to make a big break through. I want to be a part of it. I want to fucking lead it. I want to have matches that make people talk about this place. I've made a very small start but I have so many matches I want. I want to teach Marcus a lesson. I want to wrestle Baker. I want McCloud. Saturn and I would tear the place down. I want Jerry. I want Berry. I want... I just want everyone.
DB: Your next match is against TakeOver. You haven't been around for many of their shenanigans and it feels like you're the odd one out of that match. Are you as emotionally involved as the others?
AW: Hard-hitting indeed. I guess I may not be as emotionally invested as Jace, who I believe has had business with TakeOver for some time. Jerry seems like he's been here for ever- I believe he was the first guy signed here- and Berry is really establishing herself. I may be the new boy but I get that this matters to other people. Other people who I respect. I want to do well by Graham Baker too. He's the guy who's crouched down and beckoned FPW onto his back and is climbing the mountain to bring us all up with him. I respect him as much as anyone I've been in a promotion with. I don't want to let him down and, if it means I come into his mind for a future title match, all's the better.
DB: Is that your long-term aim here? To be champion?
AW: Any wrestler in any company wants to be a champion. Give me the belt! Give me all the belts!! So I'd be lying if I said no. But... it's not my immediate goal. I want to establish myself as a worthy contender first. I want to beat everyone there is to beat and have people beating down the door for me to get a title shot. And then when that happens... nothing will stand in my way.
DB: Do you plan to enter the Free-1?
AW: I'd love to. I actually watched some of the Free-1 last year. It got a bit of buzz among a group of us in the locker room. I loved watching Baker win it. I'd be honoured to be involved. If I could face some of my dream opponents on the way to earning a title shot at the end of the year I'd be delighted.
DB: Can I-
AW: Dasha... I have a question for you. Do you mind?
DB: Oh, sure.
AW: You've got a bit of an eye on the Bishop boy, haven't you?
DB: Uhhhhh.....
AW: I'm just messing with you, Dash! If you and him do... y'knooooow... maybe we could double date. I'd love a night on the town with Jerry and his bear. But as for now... I must dash... I didn't mean that one, I swear!
DB: Of course not,
AW: Honest! Let's end with a song, Dash. You know what to do... 🎤I still believe...🎤
DB: .....
AW: Come on, Dasha! 🎤I still believe! 🎤
DB: .....
AW: I'm not leaving until you do it. 🎤I still believe!!🎤
DB: 🎤I still believe.🎤
AW: Yes Dash! 🎤That everyone...🎤 Come on Dash.
They sing together: 🎤Can find a song for every time they've lost, and every time they've won!🎤
AW: There it is! There it is! I'll see you all very soon. 🎤I still believe!🎤
Williams points at the camera for the fans to echo the line back.

Camera cuts in on a park, children playing. Normal playground talk is heard.
? (Distorted voice): It has been too long. A giant is awakening.
Cut to black
?: A new normal will emerge.
Screen flashes a neon red 13, styled similar to Taz from WWE.
?: See, 13 is a lucky number, for those who embrace it.
Screen flashes again 13
?: Soon, a day of reckoning will come. For I have forged an allegiance. Beware ye, thou who hath forsaken this beast!
Screen flashes to the 13 again, but fades out slowly. Camera goes back to the park, but instead of normal people, zombies just meandering aimlessly.
