Name: Bobby O
Handler: marileeg17
Nickname: Orton Jr, Mr. FPW
DOB: 8.20.94
Hometown: Philadelphia, PA
Alignment: Former heel trying to redeem himself
Wrestling Type: Powerhouse/Technician with most of his strength being upper body
Personality: Bobby can be a bit unstable due to suffering from IED, of which he has only just started to take medication for again. Bobby is cocky and brash, but is slowly trying to be more respectful. He is also very much a loner and tends to keep to himself as much as possible.
Main strength: Timing and execution; two things he learned from his brother.
Main weakness: His temper and anger issues as they often cause him to get disqualified in matches as he gets to the point where he can't stop his aggression, despite wanting to play the match out fairly. He's also slightly held back by his newfound moral code.
Pic base: Roderick Strong
Attire: Black tights with a gold lightning bolt on the right side and "BO3" written on the back in the same gold lettering. High top black boots like what Randy Orton wears and a military style vest/jacket (think Eric Young). Bobby wear black tape on both wrists with Bob's name written on one and Randy's on the other in small font that only he can see, with the exception of big matches where he might show this to the camera. This is his way to remember before he gets in the ring, exactly who he is and to not hold back. It has also been rumored that the initials "CJ" and "WG" are written on each of the wrist tape, but no one has seen to confirm.
Entrance Music: This Means War - Avenged Sevenfold
Entrance Example: This Means War plays for about 15 seconds before the music pauses and then Bobby walks out wearing a military style jacket (think Eric Young). He pops the collar and then walks to the ring at a fast pace, trying to high five fans on the way. Bobby enters the ring via the steel steps. When he gets in the ring, he grabs the ropes and leans over them, often while looking towards the crowd and pointing and smiling.
Finishing Moves:
1. Finisher – RKO: I think you know what an RKO is.
2. (MAIN FINISHER) Finishing Submission – O Snap: Anaconda vice set up by a top rope superplex
Common Moves:
1. DDT variations including: jumping, tornado and tilt-a-whirl
2. clothesline variations
3. Powerslam
4. Superkick
5. Suplex variations (belly-to-back, german, super, etc)
6. series of jabs/strikes to the upper body
7. Fireman’s Carry Stunner
8. Double Running Dropkick
9. stomps, curbstomp
10. Pop-Up Powerbomb (signature)
Backstory: The illegitimate son of Bob Orton Jr., Bobby O grew up far from the fame of the Orton name, but that didn’t stop him from wanting to prove to his father that Randy wasn’t the only one in the family with wrestling in their blood. Bobby reached NXT, had incredible success there, and moved on to the main roster where he immediately targeted Randy. The two engaged in a bitter feud that ended when Bob couldn’t take the sight of his children destroying each other anymore, and revealed to both Randy and the world, that Bobby was his biological son.
At first, Randy accepted his brother and the two even won gold as a tag team. But little did Bobby know, Randy was plotting his demise. On one fateful day, Bobby was attacked with a lead pipe and suffered career threatening injuries, missing almost two years of action. Upon learning Randy was behind the attack and Bob’s refusal to condemn his oldest son for it, Bobby distanced himself from the company and his family, and was signed to 50/50 Wrestling.
Looking for a chance to make a name for himself outside of the Orton shadow, Bobby O quickly drew favor with owner, William Graves, while he tried to recapture a loss love with one of 5050’s backstage interviewers, CJ Holmes. Bobby became William’s handpicked star but as it turns out, William was simply using him as a cash mule. Even worse, Bobby found out that CJ had been having an affair with William all those years ago and that she was using their shared past and Bobby’s affection for her to get William what he wanted.
Deeply wounded by the betrayal, Bobby embraced a more vicious side, and attacked William leading to him being fired on the spot. 50/50 was shut down shortly after as William lost the company to his wife in a divorce settlement, and for a while, Bobby wasn’t seen or heard from. He re-appeared six months later to cost arch-rival Jack Sevren in PWG’s BOLA, and began calling himself the Bastard BO3, opting to embrace the worst qualities that come with being an Orton. He wrestled sporadically over the last year but never really managed to recapture the success of his early career.
Bobby’s low moment came when he was arrested for assaulting a referee with his lead pipe, and went to prison for several months. Recently released, Bobby had his sights set on cleaning up his act and focusing his rage into a way to win matches. However, he still couldn't control himself. It wasn't until he talked to CJ again when he finally realized he was becoming a monster.
He is now trying to redeem himself but it's hard to adjust to being a good guy again for him.
