Backstory:
As a young boy, he was always troubled. From being told he wouldn’t amount to anything because of his larger than average size, to parents that didn’t want him. He was always told that he was a mistake, and started taking out his frustrations out on others at school. It started by being a typical bully, turning into tormenting the family dog. When they came home to their dog skinned, hanging from the kitchen ceiling skinned, they finally had enough. When he was just 10 years old, they had him put into an insane asylum. There, he didn’t speak to hardly anyone. All he did was workout, and eat. At age 21, he checked himself out, moving from Brooklyn, New York, to Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. With barely a dime to his name and only the clothes on his back, he took in a local Indy wrestling show. In a falls count anywhere, no DQ match, the heel of the match tossed the face outside the ring, near his front row seat. Whilst not looking, the heel struck him. That brought back memories of his father abusing him, and channeling that emotion, attacked the wrestler. The face ended up winning, and the promoter offered him a gig on the spot. After a few years, he was offered a tryout at WWE’s performance center and was given a trial match on an episode of NXT. There, he faced No Way Jose, but after a freak accident that left Jose paralyzed, WWE cut ties. Back to the Indy scene, he decided he didn’t want to stay in the U.S. and moved to England. He went to 5050 wrestling, under the premise of being able to have free reign, but after injuring Skyler Ryan was fired. He came back briefly, due to the company folding shortly after the 5050 vs AOA feud.
Since 5050, he took a closer look at his finances and decided to start up a new promotion. Two months after 5050, he received an invite to the Battle of Los Angeles tournament. He accepted, but on the condition that everyone else from 5050 got an invite, as well. There, he would tell everyone about the new promotion and try to restart what seemed promising. However, the promotion went under after only a few shows and Davey Jones disappeared. He lost weight and shaved, going under a traumatic mental reset. He became "the pirate" Davey Jones and came to FPW as a "young lion". Reunited with The Friendmigos, he began to revert back to his previous state of mind.
The American Lunatic was still in there.
At FPW Shoot 2 Thrill Night One, Sabre revealed the truth and it unlocked the true Davey. Now that Davey is unleashed, there's no telling what could happen next.
