*Camera comes up on Jerry Bishop sitting on a bench in the locker room, visibly debating with himself. He notices the camera and cuts his "discussion" short.*
JB: This is a message for that crumpet-sucking bastard who thinks that I am only interested in "exposing his name". Nonononononono, you self-righteous wanker. This is not about telling the world your name. This is about proving that you are merely human. Despite all of your grandstanding, self-righteous posturing, smug confidence, anyone could possibly still support what you do and agree with your motivations is sorely mistaken. What I want to prove is that you are as human as those you despise, you reprehensible waste of matter. Even if I am not the one who breaks you, you deserve to be brought down to the lowest level of esteem. There is nothing justifiable about what you do or who you are. The only reason I would even consider regarding your name is so I could find your family and directly apologize for what a stain you have created on humanity. I do not know when we might next meet in the ring, but mark my words. I may not have succeeded in our last encounter. But when we do meet again I will ensure that you leave the match, the ring, and the arena as a man no longer worth giving any ounce of respect. Because you could not be held in any lower esteem than you are right now.

A video was uploaded to the FPW website. The video opens with Ava McGuinness talking to the crew behind the camera.
“-sure it's working?” [muffled response] “It's good? Ok, cool. Sorry, I haven't done this very often.”
She turned to face the camera and took a deep breath before she started speaking.
“Untested, unrefined, and unknown. Artemis Evans, you called me all of these things in your little video. And I’ll admit, you’re right about some of those things. I haven’t had many chances to test my skills, I don’t have the experience to hone my style, and you’re right, I am an unknown rookie. But there’s one thing that you didn’t call me, and that’s the future. I’m here in this match because I am the top of my class, the first of the next generation of wrestlers. And while I may be unknown, this match is going to allow me to spread my name, so that more people will know who I am. And then, I will get the opportunities to test myself, to refine my skills. I may be untested, unrefined and unknown at the moment, but this match with you is going to be a launchpad for me, away for me to reach that next level. So I’m looking forward to facing you tomorrow.”

Dasha Banks was standing backstage with Jace Mason.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest, the Freedom Pro Wrestling Hardcore Champion, Jace Mason."
Jace gives a little wave before Dasha starts speaking again. "Jace, I'm assuming that you want to talk about Jim Houston's announcement concerning number one contendership for your championship."
"That subject is something that interests me, and I'll have something to say a little later in the week, but I actually wanted to talk about something that happened later in the show. During the recap of TakeOver's attack on Ring of Honor, Mike Watson mentioned that there were rumors and hints of various different roster members joining Marcus Allen Jones' little hit squad. And one of the names he mentioned was mine. Now, maybe I've been a little blind, but I haven't seen or heard any such hints. And I just wanted to put these rumors to rest and definitively state that I will not be joining TakeOver. Everything about them goes against what I believe about pro wrestling. I believe in two things; learning and earning. I believe that no matter who you are, you have to earn everything you get in this sport. And if you don't earn it, if you fail the chance that's been given to you, then you take a step back and learn whatever you need to learn so that when you get another chance, you don't fail again. But TakeOver don't believe in learning or earning anything, they believe in shortcuts, they believe in any means necessary to achieve their goals. For them, it's all about the destination, not the journey that gets them there. But for me, the journey is just as, if not more important than the destination. The journey is everything that has made me who I am. Every single success, and every single failure have all contributed in getting to where I am now. And that's something that TakeOver just can't understand, they're too focused on doing anything to win."
"But this is porfessional wrestling, and there's always two layers to everything, words and actions. While it's all well and good for me to stand here and say these things, my words mean nothing if they're not backed up by my actions. So I'm also going to say that if any member of our roster finds themselves outnumbered by TakeOver, all they have to do is say something, and I'll be there to do my part in evening the odds. TakeOver's greatest strength is in their numbers, and if their numbers are growing, that's not good for the rest of our roster. But we can't let them divide us, we have to present a united front to face them. And so if anyone from Graham Baker to Ava McGuinness needs help, just say the word, and you'll have backup. And I know that by saying these things, I've probably put myself in the crosshairs of some people who otherwise wouldn't have bothered me, but I don't care. Someone has to say these things, and it might as well be me.

After all, isn't that exactly something somebody would say if they were trying to hide where their true allegiances lie? Offering to help anyone in the locker room from TakeOver, what a nice touch. If only those people knew your real motivation was to stab them in the back. It's okay, Jace, you don't have to tell them you're one of us. All will be revealed eventually...

“Acid Rainmaker from Jimmy Havoc! He makes the cover, one… two… three!” “Havoc wins! Brutal encounter but what a victory from Havoc. Drew Parker thought he could vanquish the Progress legend but Jimmy Havoc proves once again that he truly is King of the Deathmatch.
‘I've got two letters for you… Last words of the run-‘
The music suddenly stops.
“Wait… what's this?”
All eyes turn to the entranceway as Jim Houston emerges, dressed casually in jeans and an FPW t-shirt and carrying a microphone. Most fans look on with bemused looks on their faces. In the ring, Jimmy Havoc sits resting on the bottom rope, blood trickling from several wounds on his chest and arms, with an equally confused look.
Houston steps into the ring with a smile and extends a hand to Havoc. Havoc looks at him and stays perfectly still. Unperturbed, Houston simply smiles before turning to address the situation.
“It sure feels good to be back in Progress.”
The fans utter a confused murmur.
“You may not know it, but I consider Progress Wrestling to be kind of a home from home for me. After I ended my own fairly unspectacular career wrestling in the USA, I wanted to start a promotion. But I've always been a proponent of hard work- due diligence if you will. So I toured various promotions using various contacts to get a feel of what I wanted to create. There are some very good friends of mine backstage and I must admit that I called in a favour to be here tonight.
“My name, for the many of you who won't know, is Jim Houston and I am the general manager of a Chicago-based, but swiftly expanding, pro wrestling company named Freedom Pro Wrestling. In one week time we have our first major show of 2019, named Season Three Launch Party. And that brings me to why I'm here. It brings me to you, Jimmy Havoc.”
Havoc slowly stands and moves intimidatingly towards Houston. Houston holds out a hand to stop him.
“I mean you no harm. In fact, I'm here with a proposition. You see, FPW is known for a great many different things, and a great many different styles of wrestling. One of those is deathmatch wrestling. We've had some truly outstanding hardcore encounters. And now I find myself in the difficult position of having a fairly new Hardcore Champion but no challenger. I gave my roster time to step up to the opportunity, but none did. So here I am.
“Who better to face the Freedom Pro Wrestling Hardcore Champion Jace Mason than the best deathmatch wrestler in the world, Jimmy Havoc? So Jimmy, what do you say? I have a contract right here that you can sign straight away. One match, next Sunday. If you win, maybe we see more of you. Who knows? All I know is that I want to bring the best possible wrestling that I can to the FPW fans, and I can't think of anything better right now. So what do you say?”
Houston pulls an envelope out of the back pocket of his jeans and offers it, with a pen, to Havoc. Jimmy Havoc looks down at it for a moment before reaching for it, only to grab Houston by the wrist and pull him in for an Acid Rainmaker. Houston lies motionless on the canvas as Havoc picks up the contract and signs it, before reaching down for a staple gun lying in the ring. He reaches down and staples the contract to Houston’s forehead before giving the middle finger to the crowd and rolling out of the ring.

A video appears on freedomprowrestling.com. In the video, Jimmy Havoc stands, sharpening his axe.
"What's that Jace?"
He cups a hand to his ear.
"Oh that's right, you haven't said a thing you little cunt. I've heard about you, chirping away like a little robin when you're Billy Big Bollocks in little old FPW. Oh, I want to face Tommy Storm. I want to defend my precious Hardcore Title. Bullshit. As soon as a proper deathmatch wrestler comes along, you lose your balls. But I beat Tommy Storm, you'll say. He's a hardcore legend, you'll say. Bollocks. I've wrestled Tommy Storm and he wasn't fit to lace my fucking boots. He wasn't then. He isn't now. I pushed Graham Baker to his limits, you'll say. Well I trained the little fucker and I know how much of a pussy he really is. I'm Jimmy fucking Havoc mate. I'll take your Hardcore Title like it's nothing and I'll show you up for the pathetic little bitch that you are. So hit the books, Jace. If you want to beat me, you've got a lot to learn and not very long to learn it in. But be careful. I'm a dangerous man. If you've really been studying, you'll know that already."
Havoc swings the axe towards the camera and the video cuts to black.

If you ever want a real challenge, ever want to PROGRESS in your career to the big leagues young James, you know where to find me. Huh, "James," first the scumbag city in Texas, then the planet, now whatever the hell you are. I knew I hated the name "James" and all its incarnations. Anyway, TakeOver has your back Jace, should you decide you need it...

A video was uploaded to the FPW website showing Jace Mason backstage, a large FPW logo on the wall behind him.
"Oh you want me to say something Jimmy? Well I've got a lot of things I wanted to say to you, so sit back and enjoy the ride."
"I wanted to start by saying that I had a lot of respect for you. I've never been the biggest fan of the hardcore style you've adopted and made your own, but I know that it take a lot of balls to put yourself through that, and I could respect you for doing that. Now I know what you're thinking, if I'm not a huge fan of hardcore wrestling, how did I wind up as a Hardcore Champion? Well the answer to that question is the same reason you're here in FPW, Jim Houston. You see, I didn't make that much of an impact when I arrived in FPW, I lost my first two matches, and it would have been very easy for him to forget about me after that. But he didn't, he kept an eye on me as I improved my win/loss record and honed my skills through a series of open challenges. And when I decided I'd had enough of sitting out of the spotlight, when I decided I wanted I bigger piece of the pie, Jim Houston gave me that chance. But I still came up short, I failed to win the Dead Man's Chest ladder match. And do you know what Mr. Houston did next? He gave me another chance, and that's how I've managed to become Hardcore champion. Because that's what Jim Houston does, he gives people chances."
"And that's what he did for you when he showed up in PROGRESS, he gave you a chance. But you couldn't just accept the opportunity he was offering you, you had to take it a step too far. And when you did that, when you disrespected a man who's only crime was turning up unannounced to give you a chance, you lost any respect I had for you."
"Now I'd like to think I'm a fairly smart man. I know that I'm not going to show up to our match and beat the respect into you. You have much more experience wrestling in general, and when it comes to hardcore wrestling in particular, you've certainly had more experience, you've made your name almost synonymous with the style. So it looks like I'll be facing an uphill battle, but I've got one advantage over you. All that experience means you've had a lot of matches, and all those matches means there's a lot for me to study, but when I'm done, I'll know about every nasty injury you've delivered, but also every one you've taken. I'll be able to assemble a strategy to take you down. But there's not a lot you can find about me, there's things about me you don't know. And I'll be able to use those things to my advantage during our match. So don't come in here thinking you're going to have an easy match against an insignificant name from a small company, I'm going to give you every bit of fight I have in my body.

MDE sits in his chair in his office and looks directly into the camera.
"Berry Bishop is either training very hard at the moment, wasting her life with her idiot brother or quaking in her boots at the prospect of facing me on Sunday. I feel obliged to give Berry a bit of a boost. I taught her a lot when we worked together and I think I'll teach her one more lesson.
"I've already worked out how our match will go. Berry, you think you can match me technically after what I taught you. So early on, there will be a series of technical exchanges where I embarrass you and turn you inside out. Eventually you'll realise you need to kick your way through me but your legs will be so damaged that I'll walk straight through those kicks. Then you'll get desperate and that's when I'll take enough pity to end the match.
"And after this match, I'd like to make one thing clear. I fully intend to take the title shot that I'm owed. Baker, Saturn... probably Baker... I'll see you at the Young Lions Cup show."

We enter on Graham Baker, who adjusts the FPW World Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder as he looks into the camera.
So, he begins, glancing around. James Saturn goes quiet after I try to rebuff him once. Disappointing, sure, but not unexpected. Saturn's been one of those guys who scrapes together a couple wins in a row before he vanishes once again. Let's not pretend that I think Saturn isn't an excellent talent-the man's beaten me once, and he's one of the few men here in FPW who's gotten a pin on me who I haven't gotten my win back over. Saturn, however, as i've said before, just isn't on my level.
Saturn entered the Free-1 under the same circumstances I did, and Saturn took a few losses. To say his block was harder than mine would be a farce-Saturn didn't have to face down the then-undefeated Azazel and Adam Thompson within days of one another. Saturn didn't have to go toe-to-toe with a ring veteran like Super Che Jr, or a madman like Edward Dessius. Saturn walked out of the Free-1 under impressive circumstances, but he walked out with losses, which is a simple fact of logic that I simply cannot identify with. I cannot empathize with you, Saturn, because I proved in one fell tournament that I am the best that Freedom Pro has to offer, that I'm the king of this promotion, that I'm the fastest rising talent in this sport and the Ace of this fucking company.
I proved it again when I beat MAJ, and now, when I offer you a shot, the second one i've offered that, surprisingly, you haven't ducked. Now, you come out to play when the big gold's on the line, but guess what, James-the stakes are significantly higher now. When you face me for a title, the stakes are high-but when you face me for a belt, one that i've busted my fucking ass for, the stakes get significantly higher. Saturn, I am coming for you, and I'm going to ground you, tear your fucking arm off, and tap you out with whatever you have left of the second. I'm done playing around like I did the last time we tango'd, I'm done toying with opponents and I'm done aping shit I've seen before to try and impress my opponents.
I'm here for two reasons: one, to defend this title, and through doing so, defend the honor of this company and the people who watch it so, and two, a slightly lesser reason, to entertain the fans who watch. I am the highest caliber talent in this company, Saturn. I've beaten everyone else with a claim to the top, and I'll cement my claim by putting you down for good.
So, James, I'll see you on Sunday. You'll have to bring more than your A Game, I want you to bring everything you fucking have. I'll be waiting.
And MDE...I'm going to retain this belt, and I'll see you at Young Lions' Cup, when I prove, once again, that you cannot fucking put my fire out.
Good luck, both of you.
